Rambunctious

Rambunctious rainstorms
Laugh – dance with rock and roll sun ~
 Promise of rainbows.

Sunrise bursting out
In bright shafts – hues of orange ~
 Bright eyed wake up call.

Brilliant yellow rays
Run across the morning sky ~
 Golden amethyst.

Peaceful blue - serene -
Sapphire skies deep as oceans ~
 Wadding in their depths.

Lush fields of green nap
Refreshed by rains after noon ~
 Emeralds flashing.

Sunset fire burning
Fiery plumes of red and rose ~
 A neon light show.

Paper thin moonlight
Fragile - delicate embrace ~
 Luminescent pearl.

Deep purple shadows
Softly whisper through midnight ~
 Lullaby – Good Night.

Premium Member A Rambunctious Teen

It's the year two thousand and sixteen
Many years since I was a rambunctious teen
With slicked down hair
It was devil may care
Surrounded by young fillies so peachy keen

Rambunctious Theater

Catcalls, lewd comments
and humor at the movies:
is it the picture
or the acts at the picture
that we have all come to see?

Premium Member A Deafeningly Rambunctious Poem

I feel the need to say a real loud poem,
A poem full of WAILS!! HOWLS!! and YELPS!!
It doesn’t need to be about anything at all,
But if it is then I guess that that helps.

AAAARR!! Now that feels better,
BOOM!! THRASH!! BAP!! WHAM!! and BAM!!!
Just like in the comics of old there’s a VRAP!! SMACK!! ZAP!!
Then a CRUNCH!! and a BIFF!! and a SLAM!!

Actually, in the comics of old, it was profoundly loud,
With all the yelling and fighting.
Those words were in yellow, in bright red shiny stars.
It was all so thrillingly exciting.

With a KABOOM!! and a THUD!! the hero saved the damsel.
Then a POP!! and a sudden KABANG!!
The hero was muscle bound, long hair and strong jaw.
Always one man against a whole gang.

Imagine writing poems where words can be invented,
Just block letters with two exclamations.
BONK!! or WHACK!! followed by WHUMF!! or PHOOMPH!!
Even your words are your own creations.

The park came alive and glistened this morning.
It would be sunny today, obvious since dawning.
Four days of rain had given the grass a new hue.
The trees looked lush, were embellished as new.

Early morning all was quiet, peaceful and serene.
It was quite the loveliest the park had ever been.
Rain rendered the surroundings to a lustrous view.
The sunshine illuminated all and shone through.

The kindergarten now opened adjoining the park.
Children arriving. On the silence they left their mark.
Wonderful giggles and chatter now could be heard.
Everyone seemed happy, not a discouraging word.

Now the rain had gone, finally outside they could play.
No more raincoats to wear. Won’t be trapped inside today.
Children raced round having fun, each and every tiny tot.
The noise oh the noise! They sure were a rambunctious lot.

Rolie Polie Olie’s Rambunctious Roundup

Rolie Polie Olie rolled ‘round the room,
Repairing rickety robots with a boom.
With Zowie zipping,
And screws slipping,
The ruckus rattled the rosy red vacuum!

Nothing is more precious than a child's love;
innocent, they implicitly trust you.
And they're as pure as the Angels above:
every expectant mother's wish come true.

Nothing feels as honest as a child's hug,
as they tenderly squeeze your heart and soul.
Children get along with a simple shrug;
finding ways to laugh, play games, and cajole.

Humanity's hopes live on through a child;
for they're the inheritors of our dreams.
And though they can be rambunctious and wild,
it's hard to resist their smile, so it seems.

Nothing can match the love that a child brings;
an innate love that tugs on your heartstrings.

Rambunctious,
lemon hot drum drop;

Sauntering in stage left
a playful approach;
Citrus flavors from Orange amps
cleanse the venue;
Sick is about to take over stable,
the injection awaits behind the curtain;

Lemon hot drum drop,
you can feel it before it happens;
A smile for the crowd,
breaking a stone silence;
Bang
     bang
             into a roll..

Rambunctious,
lemon hot drum drop..

            into a roll
         bang
bang..

Rambunctious,
sauntering in stage left;
Sick is about to take over stable.

Really Been Rambunctious

Trump's fans have really been rambunctious,
And are perfect fools who are presumptuous;
Complete campaign,
So stain will remain;
Produce chaos and country that is tumultuous.
