There's nothing more precious than a child's love
because their hearts implicitly trust you.
Their love's as pure as the Angels above,
and I, for one, believe that to be true.
Nothing feels as tender as a child's hug,
as it gently squeezes your heart and soul.
Children get along with a simple shrug,
finding ways to laugh, play games, and cajole.
Humanity gets passed on through a child;
they are the inheritors of our dreams.
And though they can be rambunctious and wild,
parents can't resist their smile, so it seems.
Nothing equals the joy that a child brings;
fueled by hopes and dreams, they flex their wings.
