Have you ever been told what you should believe?
Or, if the words of such a person are meant to deceive.
Do you know someone who uses his mouth to preach
but doesn't live by his words. They're a figment of speech.

I have been told that peace is that person's ultimate goal
But I'm not sold on his act if he's merely playing a role.
If he doesn't live by the same standards of his word,
his lips aren't conveying anything that should be heard.

Premium Member -Practice What You Preach

There are many genuine , good and kind people in our world

Who’s kindness, empathy and good deeds are apparent

Who give and help those in need without expectation

Their authentic , selfless, humble souls transparent

There are also those who voice all the right words

Yet their words and actions do not coincide

Outwardly spouting graciousness and compassion

Yet their actions and real truth lies inside

If your heart is truly open and sincere

Your virtues are beyond reach

Show it in your actions

And practice what you preach!

Does Anyone Still Preach On Sin

Does Anyone Still Preach On Sin?

Where are the preachers who
 actually preach on sin?
Where is the fire of God that
totally consumes within?

One thing that is much
needed this very hour.
Is God's presence and his
majesty and power!

Many preachers seem
worried "they may offend."
Too many are afraid they'll "lose a friend."

If they really preach God's
word as they ought to do.
Hardly anyone would be sitting in the pew.

No wonder there's so much sin
and perversion to be found.
The truth of God's word
has been turned "upside down."

It's time we raise a holy
 standard in our lives.
Listening to God's word and
no more of man's lies.

The judgement of God begins
at his house--this is so clear.
Watch out--his righteous judgement
 is so very near!

What will you be doing, when he
knocks at your heart's door?
Do you really know
whom you are living for?

It's heaven or hell--there is
no middle road in between.
It's time to confess and repent
of all that's unclean.

It's only in Jesus...not religion...
that will save your soul.
 Jesus waits for you and
 desires to make you whole!

Poems That Quote the Bible Are Not Poems But a Preach

When some write they quote the bible,
forcing on you some ancient eye fall,
but that's not a poem it's a preach,
some view they wish to teach,
they're no poet,
and they're not original,
they have nothing of their own to say,
they're not even an individual,
they think they're connected to the spiritual,
so it's their duty to also brainwash you.

There's wisdom in the bible, valuable and true,
but if you stop turning to the bible you'll find a wisdom in you,
because your god gave you the tools needed to guide you,
but when training these raw senses you face uncertainty,
and when unsure you turned to the religious community,
and with that you seek wisdom from them and not your own faculties,
so you become distant from what god gave you,
and become part of something that says do as WE do.
God gave you tools and in doing so you're blessed,
so do as YOU do, stay true, and the spirtual will shine through you.

Premium Member Morning

Melting with the sun
            between the sea
              and the sand
        smelling the jasmine
                    it's fun.
        No lights on the beach,
         no waves on the sea,
       We look for somebody
                  to preach
                We give up,
                  we sleep.
            We want to see
               the morning
             to be complete

Why Do We Preach Tolerance and Love

Tolerance and love is preached… But, at what price?
Too often we forget about Jesus’ sacrifice!

His death was because our sin counted against us.
He died on the cross because he truly loves us!

How dare we “cheapen” his work on the cross!
In today’s “political correctness..” We have lost!

In the love and acceptance, we call it “inclusion.”
This has led many into a serious “confusion.”

Many want the loving side of God. I can’t blame them!
But those who seek his holiness…
Can you name them?

God is a God of love. But he requires holy living too!
This is not a request but a command
me and you!

If it’s tolerance and love you want… Look no more!
You’ll be able to find it washed up on sin’s shore!

The people of Israel wanted “free love.”
 Look what it got them!
Being slaves and captives, is what
 it taught them!

God is a loving God but is also as a consuming fire!
Living a righteous life is what he really desires!

“Without holiness… No man shall see him.”
That’s why he sent Jesus, to the world beneath him!

Won’t you allow your sins to be totally forgiven?
Only Jesus can change the way
 you’ve been livin’!

He gives eternal life to those who
 diligently seek him!
The choice is yours to repent and receive him!

We Need Pastors To Preach On Holiness

We Need Pastors to Preach On Holiness!

I knew a pastor who preached
on holiness and sin.
And taught on what it
 means to be born again.

He had a deep conviction and
 passion in his voice.
Whether you came next Sunday--
This was your choice!

His number one goal and deep ambition.
Was to preach God's word with a deep conviction.

A conviction of God's power in
 redeeming man's soul.
And a savior's blood that can make one whole.

I'm thankful of the memories
I have of him today.
Even though he preached in
 an "old fashioned way."

I wish more pastors would
preach like this man did.
Who could preach and be a Godly
 example in how they live.

What has happened to our
nation's Godly leaders?
Where are the Holy Ghost' inspired preachers?

Have many of them compromised
in what they preach?
A way of righteous living…
Do any of them teach?

Perhaps the way I believe is
"old fashioned" to many folks.
I've heard the criticism,
laughter and the jokes.

I'm going to seek God!
And listen to his voice.
Whom you listen to for Godly instruction...
 it's your choice!

Whatever your pastor says, is right or wrong...
God's word in your heart must certainly belong!

Living for Jesus 100% may be an
old fashioned way of living.
But it's his life for mine... Is what he’s giving!

Practice Not What We Preach

The masters of buzz words
used to instill fear
Clutching their pearls saying
“liberals take what’s dear”
Right wingers with their
inescapable nexus
Says its liberals insistent
political correctness
If the “Woke” amplified the
so called cancel culture
The extreme right has weaponized
it for years like vultures
Confining the first amendment,
to burn books and ban,
Limits free speech, squelches
protests, circumscribed all they can
As always it’s the least entitled
to complain the loudest
Claiming they are right and
most patriotic proudest
Canceling or firing those who’s
views don’t meet theirs
Every problem they will
say is the left’s affairs
Not a day goes by that they
don’t say the left will cancel you
Reminiscent of “Stalin”
they seem to take their cue
Conservatives need to breathe
and mind their own house
Take notice what it is that
they themselves shout
Liberals are rising to defend
old-fashion tolerance
Not sitting around trying
to show dominance
Like the illiberal witch burning
preformed by the Protestants
While screaming the loudest
how liberals are communist
Ben Shapiro claims cancel
culture is a left wing invention
When they’ve been doing
it thru history with cancel tension
Canceling those who defied
any of their moral strictures
In living memory, I can show
proof with mental pictures
Colin Kaepernick , Dixie chicks, Nikole
Hannah-Jones, critical race theory and more
The kings and queens of
canceling calling liberals whores
Honestly can’t we all just get along,
stop being so damn righteous
Realize that everyone right
or left we are in crisis
Lets keep it real Liberals are
not without fault of their own
Why can’t we all not practice
what we preach and showing

Premium Member -Practice What You Preach

We teach our children the rights and wrongs
The correct way to behave and be
Manners, morals, fairness
Kindness and honesty

Be respectful to all of life’s creatures
Do not hurt or mistreat
No verbal, emotional, physical abuse
From violence you retreat

Lately, l feel disillusioned
With the behaviour l have seen
Of “supposed” adults
Words and actions obscene

Hurtful words, inappropriate conduct
Disrespect, disregard, ugly displays
I wonder what our children would think
Watching how their “teachers” honestly behave!

Practice What You Preach

You say you've trampled through the village where the grapes of wraith are stored
You say if you live by the sword, you will die by the sword
A stitch in time saves nine
What's yours is yours and what's mine is mine
I'm still a student so will you please teach
Set the example and Practice What You Preach
You must go through hell before reaching heaven
Always believe in lucky number seven
A rabbit's foot and horseshoe bring fortune and fame
If you take the credit for the good, for the bad you must also take the blame
I'm still a student, so will you please teach
Set the example and Practice What You Preach
Do as I say, not as I do
Not all rules apply to me , but all rules apply to you
Don't worry about others, just worry about you
In the end everyone gets their just due
No one is invited to play in every game
Now you can put faces with names
I believe your philosophy is out of reach
Set the example and Practice What You Preach

Preach To a Brocked Sole

Hash do not cry,
matter of fact forget your crash.
rash once again try,
connect the peaces and light your stash.
blush! oncemore be shy.

Rest your eyes,
whipe of your tears,
for whatever you weed for has come to pass,
for the lies, let your eyes pay the price.
you where deceived,
combat with what you received.

As you try again
be sure to slowdown the pace.
be yoursef for you are sronger in your own grounds.
learn from your own shot commings,
do not loos your path for onother ones wrath,
so be one withyour frands
but one individualy
solomly or mutualy
loveeach you have as only
for there is no greaer lonly
for the two who are one
for the heartandthe soul separated.

clear your mind,
breath in frash thoats
breath out thos wich horts,
leave it all behind
pride and fear
drop a tear
recognise that pain cant drawn in bear,.
so faceyour pain with an iron fist,
wror your pain like a lion pist,
fear and pride with your conscious in the mist,
together this three is an unbitable beast.

Preach

Preach - For Contest

I stood along this road
The only one that I have ever known
I met her in this street and kissed her for the first time on her lips

I walked along this path
And stumbled upon two heavy men
They grabbed me by the shoulders and dragged me into a black tinted van

I sat on a metal chair
My hands tied up behind my hurting back
They sat oppose to me and started pulling pictures of my dream

I watched in perplexity
As I saw her smile directly watching me
They asked me who you are and if I’m worth her loving golden heart

I shouted out my name
And told them I’m the protector of her dreams
With watchful eyes they motioned to continue suspiciously

I took a long deep breath
As I prepared to open my heart to two unknown men
they straightened up their backs and waited for me to gather all my thoughts

“I have searched all my life
and finally this girl has come to me
She’s everything I wished for, I just hope no one wakes me up from this dream

We understand each other
I don’t explain myself and she doesn’t either
we have this mutual understanding and respect and of course undying passion

I’m not here to control her
I’m here to support her and give her a shoulder
To carry her through life; not limit her and tell her don’t do stuff

I am her other half
I am never against her; I’m against the world for her
I am her guide, and she is my sunlight that shines the beauty of our love

We have each other’s backs
I know I can count on her whenever I needed her
And I’ll find support even when I try my best to hide the pain away

I exist to make her life
Smooth and beautiful, not harder and make her cry
Love is our natural instinct; No one gets bored of it because it’s forever growing.”

I finished with a grin
The two got up and stood each on a side
They pat me on the shoulders and let my hands free from all their hard made ties

“You can go now…
We apologize for the scare that we gave you
We approve of you and the heart she offered with her naked hands”

I left them with a smile
And realized they both were angels of love
I found her on that street, waiting for me with her golden eyes and warm embrace.

Why Don'T Churches Preach On Sin

Why Don’t Churches Preach On Sin?

I often wonder why many churches don’t preach on sin.
I think that many are worried they’ll “lose a friend.”

They’d rather preach and have people “fill in the lines.”
It’s very seldom that God’s word convicts their minds.

The pastor preaches and people have a good feeling.
But a sinful and messed up life is what’s revealing.

Many come with bondages and afflictions within.
They leave church unchanged and captive of SIN.

Victory in many churches hasn’t been completed.
As people go home on Sunday, with a life defeated.

It’s time we come back and serve the God of the Bible.
Let’s stop worshiping our flesh and the word’s false idols!

Repentance and sincere confession to God is the key.
To living the kind of life he wants for you and me!

It’s time that we’re not a slave to our selfish desires.
It’s time to come to the cross and lift Jesus up higher!

Where sin is, God’s grace is powerful and always abounds!
There’s an abundant life in Jesus waiting to be found!

Please come Lord Jesus! By your power,
convict us of sin!
That we may truly know that it means to be BORN AGAIN!

Living holy lives before God brings fellowship divine!
Let’s repent before Jesus!
While we still have the time!

Don'T Preach To Me Part 2

So this is the truth of our golden plate and silver spoon
Do not preach to me!
lead the horse to water
and if the water looks inviting i might drink or go for a swim
and today as we blindly refuse to treach the world population sign language and
selectively numb
as we think we are throw the deaf people away because its their turn to
understand gods love for them
love has become pain
gods love is not pain
the door to forgiveness and make it stop please god is mental anguish
and only we can break the cycle of the wars of our fathers
they refuse to remember
but i havent forgot
they mask it with humor and alcohol
controls and manipulation
because some politician or jking
didnt want gay men
and forced schools to brainwash children through spankings for generations

we have just started to turn that page
Do not preach to me
Do not!
Love is not emotional physical or menatl abuse
Love of my higher power or god has nothing to do with mankind wanting to
control the univers
and their desire to have it revolve around them
so at this nonexistant crime scene of wehy our world is this way
ask yourself if you were a child
and spanked three to five times a day to be forced to love god
and then forced into the real world to marry and have children out of survival
is that not brainwash
and why is our world this way?

some want to go back to the ways of the old
some want to spare the rod but you spoil the child
and sure we supposedly have it easy with silent wars of drugs
and marketted gang wars in the music
and propoiganda everyday
and companies of liars selling us whatever we should buy next
I will not pray to a human sacrifice
or anything linked to slavery and the burning of thousands of women who were
doctors
do not preach to me
for i can humble you
and you can choose to put your head bacjk in the sand
or wait till april fools day again
