Best Pinky Poems
For my friend, Bea, who makes me smile and is the brightest star in the bunch.
The tip of my pinky is just fine, thank you.
My bosom’s low.
My gait is slow.
I can’t scurry,
but what’s the hurry?
My foot gets sore
when it touches the floor.
My nose is runny.
I have pain in my tummy.
BUT
My pinky’s still pink
at its very tip.
My cataracts removed.
My eyesight’s improved.
I grew a new lump thing.
Still my heart is pumping.
Amidst all these things,
I sing sweet ting-a-lings.
Always I snatch dem golden rings
hanging so shiny from shimmering strings

Bea is 93.
One time on an Amsterdam trip
We decided to watch ladies strip
Some were pinky and peached
But this Scotsman couldn't reach
Oh my, I must be losing my grip
So I sat back and watched it all
Their clothes shed as my eyes befall
Undulations of delight
On this Amsterdam night
This Highlander left in thrall
To Scotland we head back the next day
Ogled eyes have now had their say
Many memories so pert
But boy were we alert
The credit card we now have to pay
Against a Full Moon
Sakura petals captured
Such a bloom delights
.
I am, in moments apart
though dark, looking
in-between the shadows
Always, a whisper away
a footstep behind..
echoing doors
And the hand that
brushes, softly on
your cheeks
I stain my kisses
each time you sleep
Closer, than far
the star of stars
in the sky of skies
I lie, inside your heart
inside the beats, I hide.
i followed you along the silent train tracks
in the dark cold rain
stepping on photographs of sunshine
watching the world wash away the graffiti of possibility
cause you promised
you pinky swore
that we are a heartbeat away from love
that we are in the way of knowin what the heart dreams
i followed you into the winters night with romance on my mind
you never told me that i would have to leave it all behind
i still believe we will find love
still believe because
you promised
you pinky swore...
She plays the princess with her pink hair
the perfect life, no reason to care
but they don't know the pain she hides
all the heart ache she feels deep inside
the hurt and tears they all get locked away
the keys been thrown out so forever buried they'll stay
she'll put on a smile just as she's been shown
forever the "perfect" princess, sad and alone
There was a cute stuffed animal that I once had.
A bell jingling in his ear made me glad
to have Pinky Winky near me, my sweet comrade,
but he fell into the toilet. I felt sad.
Mom threw my Pinky Winky out; I didn’t get to see
my favorite toy for one last time. A tragedy!
Mom bought a new pink substitute teddy bear for me.
I could not even smile, for no jingle bell had he!

Little brother,
you jerk:
remember when
you pushed me
to the side,
racing to your car?
And I fell
to the street,
cracking my right
foot on the
concrete.
Snap – broken.
You pushed me
and didn’t
look back.
Who does that?
Really,
I’m not angry.
Never was.
Because,
little brother,
the sweet
soreness of
my broken,
crooked,
swollen
pinky toe
will always
make me think
of you.
Diverticula pits up her colon
Can’t eat much or intestines get swollen
Ma's farts are so stinky
She swears with her pinky
Ain’t gonna stop her from goin’ bowl’n
Ma, gran, and Fran’s bowling tournament
I sat far knowing their predicament
Fran’s blasts were the loudest
Best bowler and proudest
It’s never again and that’s permanent

FINI--------------------------------------------------------FINI!!!
Smiles, Hope, Dreams
Joy, Anxiety, Hushed voices
The thrill of the unknown
I lay in wait…….
Opening my heart, ripping apart my sadness
Tugging and lifting my happiness
I know it’s finally here……..
Forgive me if I do not spare you time
Understand me when I smile brightly
The cloud of uncertainty is no more
The rain is gone and the SUN has come
I smile, she smiles
I coo, she coos
I now know she is mine and will always be
She fills my days with untold pleasures and joys
An angel redefined
A pinky in her own shade
The treasure that fits the dig….
She hopes, she smiles
She cries, she sighs
She dreams
“My hand will be your grip,
My feet will be your path,
My eyes will be your sight”
That is my promise.
Arise now!
For your day has come to ascend to occasion
Wear your crown with honor, MY FRIEND!!
Today I pass the challenge over; so you may be finer as:-
A woman, daughter, sister
And someday, Mother…….
in your sweet, lovely voice
words of love,confirm my choice
its gay tone,disdains life's bane
with its sorrow,mind would strain
in your black, sleek hair
shiny curls,make me stare
a lustering bunch of grace
hugs with fondness,your striking face
in your lonely,worried eyes
Pinky,let, the golden hopes rise
endow them ,with the Mighty light
on the eve of the Christmas night

Pinky Purple is a gorgeous throwback to the sixties.
I penned her quickly, easily, with diamonds of ease.
Her worn blue jeans are bellbottoms, hip-huggers too.
She is perky and lovely, with fantastical eyes of blue.
She exudes love to friends and strangers alike.
There she goes to spread joy, she is on a pink bike.
My love is like an melting ice cream cone
and smells sweeter than a rose
like a rainbow shinning in the sky
I see it with my eye
All pinky drippy sticky
Yum you are so delicious
The apple pie ice cream in my eye
But do you love me
Oh yes like the stars shine above
You complete my cove
Like the wafer of my melted ice cream cone
your patterns are so sexy
but aint you going to kiss me
I will kiss your sweet gooey lips
Till I melt you
just like whipped strawberries
mouth of scrumptious whipped strawberries
it will be all over me soon
this melted ice cream
one big mooshy mess
just like my heart
is all melted
and all that is left is a wafer
I might as well eat it to
