Pinky Winky

There was a cute stuffed animal that I once had. A bell jingling in his ear made me glad to have Pinky Winky near me, my sweet comrade, but he fell into the toilet. I felt sad. Mom threw my Pinky Winky out; I didn’t get to see my favorite toy for one last time. A tragedy! Mom bought a new pink substitute teddy bear for me. I could not even smile, for no jingle bell had he! Awe! poor little Andrea. Sorry sweetie, you're gonna be alright. Interesting choice for the contest. A little sad though, when Pinky Winky got stinky, and mom threw your teddy bear out. Hugs, Bill I missed this one somehow, oops!

This is so sweet and children would love this poem being read to them, I'm sure that each one of them would want to bring you one with a bell! I hope that this awesome entry of yours is rewarded with a podium win! Hugs and blessings Jennifer

This is so sweet Andrea. That favorite stuffed animal cannot be replaced. My son had a dog hand puppet and he called li’l pup. He was so pleased that I still had it and when he had a baby boy I sent it to him. Blessings xxoo

Everyone should have jingle bells in their pinky winky. Ha ha. Good luck in the contest, Andrea. Terry

Sad your stuffed animal with jingling bells was removed from the pride of place to the toilet and then to the trash pile where it may still be making that jingling sound.....:)

Now, if you had taken Pinky Winky for a walk, to do his business, this would not have happened:) I enjoyed this read very much. You always have such marvelous twists and sense of humor in your writing. Best of luck in the contest. Joe.

you cannot replace some things, even if they are just a stuffed teddy bear.

I adored my stuffed animals and lined them up in parades (saw this in black and white photos mom took of my parades before age 4). Pinky winky was my last beloved one. I was always more interested in stuffed "animals" than dolls. Probably the reason I stopped with just 2 human babies but kept on collecting pets all my life.
