I live on a plane
higher than your perceptions
you can't define me

my heart is my home
those who are sincere enter
not all are welcome

I hurt and I bleed
yet I'm indomitable
you can't destroy me

veiled in mystery
secure from all prying eyes
I disrobe for love

Premium Member Misconceptions of Perceptions

As you peer at self reflection

Be mindful of misconception

Consider others’ perception

To guide in the right direction

Are you as you appear

This requires much introspection

To see your portrait clear

Perceptions

I am a flower that blooms in spring.
I am the crown of a queen or king.
I am a butterfly, spreading its wings.
I am an aspect of all of these things.
I am dark blood on the virgin snow.
I am that soup-stain that just won’t go.
I am the shadow that always shows.
I am that one thing that everyone knows.
I am the Earth and the Moon and the Sun.
I am the bullet, the barrel, the gun.
I am a steak dinner, or tea and buns.
I am the truth from which everyone runs.
I am your favourite colour, or blue.
I am that sweet dream that never comes true.
I am your monster and I am your muse.
I am the Rorschach test therapists use.

Premium Member Ignorant Perceptions

Today, I'm lost for words,
something seems so absurd.
Ignorant perceptions,
lead to blind deceptions.

My mind begins to rot,
being judged for that i'm not.
I curse those erratic eyes,
full of superficial cries.

In your selfish desire,
you wanna set me on fire,
wrap my neck in barb wire,
then you think I'm a liar!

Hatred has your thoughts ruled,
you're in need to be re-schooled.
Venom that has you fooled,
means your heart can't be cooled.

Save your sorry's, there's no need,
you just want to see me bleed,
but trust me you wont succeed,
on my success you won't feed.

Perceptions

I saw the rage in his gaze,
His seductive art
I felt his digitus medius, longing to write his name inside my ****.
He charged up as usual
Still looking little unsettled with a sudden crash of energy,
I wanted to escape the situation, but his grip was tight and manhood hard
Enough to melt me down and
Drown in his love
Bowing in front of him
like a slave for an individual.
I could feel his warm breath
on my already perspiring neck.
His phallus expanding
making me lose my sense.
With his each powerful thrust
I wanted to take everything off my soul
Deciding to surrender my body
In front of a beast, I collide.
After all the chaos he already caused
His eyes were clear and bright.
I was his trophy
He won, gambling his own life.
His pearl whites were giving me bruises
His rough palms were squeezing out my juices
His legs powerfully
Intertwined with mine.
His voice murmured in my ear narrating
His passion, sorrows, and mysteries he hides.
He collapsed on top of me and
I was still burning inside.

I felt unworthy of what was happening to me and his eyes kept reciting
"Darling, I love you!
You're mine."

He continued carelessly incorporating
his wildness in the purity of my life
Surely, he made me swoon over his voice
Reading my lips making filthy signs.
Over his obscene touch and erotic noise
It was the moment when I felt
I cannot take it more
I found my self engrossed even more in his crotch every time.
He knew what I yearned for
he gave it all to me slowly
tearing me apart.
His warmth lay on my belly
And we felt glued together for the rest of our life.

Premium Member Haiku: Physics: Colored Perceptions

blue planet water
blue sky just scattered sunbeams
dusk's red, unbent light

Brian Johnston
July 28,2014

Poet's Notes:
Isn't it great? Three wonders of nature explained in 17 words. It is so much fun
sharing my love of Physics with others. Lay people in general have no idea the
treasure they are missing. Of course Religious Literalists are the most deprived.
They literally live in the stone age (and the rock is all between their ears!)

Physics is not a replacement for God in my mind, but rather, like a beautiful
sunset, another way of viewing Him, of experiencing His love for us. Physics is
just a different perspective of the same mountain as it were.

God is mysterious (but he is also accessible) . He is a humanist (loving us as
He loves His own son) , a mathematician (the underpinnings of Physics) , a
musician (think of the joy we experience in all harmonies, even discordant
ones) , an artist (the waiting beauty of galaxies far exceeding the imagination
of man) , a humorist (who besides me doesn't think that it is extremely funny
that the Jews, as His chosen people, behaved no differently really than non-
Jews - God granting special favours clearly does not make us better people.
'Just do this for me God and I will never stray! ' Really just hilarious!) , and on
and on.

Really, as usual, Einstein had a very interesting perspective that I think we
should all embrace, 'Reality is an illusion! ' And so it is folks! The only posture
appropriate in the presence of God is one of extreme humility (and gratitude) .
Let me quote one of my own echo poems here, Echo: Alone Too...

Alone….. with the lost! Are prayers ever answered?
Alone….. my heart overwhelmed. Could that be a prayer?
I look at the rainbow as summer squall passes
And find that I'm grateful that I am a player.

Aren't all of life's problems, in the grand scheme of things (if we are honest)
really little more than a 'summer squall? '

Premium Member Spectacles of Perceptions

Spectacles of perceptions.
Yes, exactly in fact.
I'm quite skeptical.
Even if there exist recollections, seems
As if there were a mirage you see in an oasis.

But a mirage is NOTHING but an HALLUCINATION
IN THE SANDS.
YOU SEE life here does EXIST or do we only IMAGINE
OUR selves as living BEINGS.
Well, me? I'm only exactly a perceptive being.
AS WE ALL ARE TO SOME DEGREE.

It's my percept that we do EXIST, PLAINLY,
Plausible we do this eventually to persist.
Representing the human race.
With this REPRESENTATION comes amazement
With the ideation of how FAR WE HAVE COME.
This is SENSATIONAL QUESTIONING.

Do we truly exist as we think, we ponder and
Replicate? Then amuse one another with QUIZZICAL AND
Qualifying discoveries. So let's rethink this. We claim to
Be human BEINGS.
WITH QUESTIONING EXPLANATIONS about our own
Existence and tendencies.

We need to feel we need to breathe, simply. We need to
Breed. We have stolen natural substances to be deciphered
In LABORATORIES. as if we're thinking we have this GOD
Given AUTHORITY and we are who we are. We are worthy
To conduct such trials. We are worthy, with CUNNING
SMILES.
We are worthy BUT..... we are specks in the GALAXIES AND
BENEATH THE MICROSCOPES OF GODS.

Dark Perceptions

As misty glows engulf the evening sky
An awkward silence takes flight
From those fleeting moments of joy
You see tricks that deceive, tricks of sleight

The lights are bright and they're screaming aloud
Forget your thoughts, they can wait it out
Pieces of the jigsaw that won't fit
That's the puzzle, that cloud of doubt

Fantasies, fairytales and those alike
All under the spells of a starry sky
Forgetful and impulsive, blessed carefree
For all you see are tears, but they see tears of joy

Sleeplessly you embrace a hopeful wonder
Searching for patterns where there are none
What's constant isn't change, it's in the mirror
It's the dead of the night, and there's nowhere to run

Perceptions

We all only see
What we choose to see
Insecurity
Dumb morality
Numb pathology

Devil inside
Entrust or die
Conquer divide
What truths they hide

Death at door
For now or
Forever

I splice
Sever

Purge.

Premium Member Perceptions What Will the Story Be

Perceptions
What will the story be ?

Into the mysteries of the observing mind
one has to ponder, wonder just what kind
of tales, stories, beliefs will we see unfold
as the projections, the perceptions are told.

Will they be of nights, Knights on great white steeds ?
- of selfless acts, acts of compassion, understanding, of good deeds ?,
or will we see that they are black, cold, indifferent and cruel –
or just a man, - dressed as a mule – an aged, age old fool.

Will these Knightly images come at you in fierce
black storm clouds – thunder, the ears doth pierce.
Will your visions be of that great orb ?, and Helios’ steeds
bringing fire, passion, light – healing , filling your needs.

What will come across the impassioned – sky lit night ?,
that just might impress that third eye with insight.
Could all this be but an old, foolish man’s thought ?,
that in the final analysis, in the end, will come to not

for no one ?, will remember nor will they care,
nor will they be concerned about what is fare.
Down these rocky roads, some of us will go,
what we learn, will it be what we really know ?

Is the light – coming from within ? – to show
us, down life’s rough roads, alone we must go ?
Will a black hole become our future ?
Will shadows creep in from the past ?,

give us glimpses of - in refractive light - the present.
Will losses, changes, renewals be our guides towards the end ?
Will all this be guided by the hands of fate ?, will karma send
us on journeys, adventures ? education of the soul to mend ?

	How well we see…

Flawed Perceptions

Incredible thoughts
unimaginable conjunctures
section 214 (b) confers the desire
for immigration to non immigrant applicants?

Under stated will
when you assume one leave home for good
for a barren land not theirs
to be a non entity, secondary  to all;

Why would one go
if not for the pleasure and friendship
force anyone to care for them
if one is just a pauper in his life with no work;

What can bind one
to alien land for even that month
and seek immigrant status
when they can't stay from their home within their country.

Love to respect
are magic words we always relish
you can place barriers at will
Only I know my intent was pure: but how could you?
