Notes About The Poem

Beyond Perceptions

I live on a plane
higher than your perceptions
you can't define me

my heart is my home
those who are sincere enter
not all are welcome

I hurt and I bleed
yet I'm indomitable
you can't destroy me

veiled in mystery
secure from all prying eyes
I disrobe for love

Ah! My Enchantress your warm heart and brilliant mind are as one when when you paint with such colours. Your spirit adamant yet your soft sensual words reveal a chink in you armour, and give you an aspect of vulnerability, that only enhances your beauty and the "mystery" of your hypnotising spell. You are unique amongst the people I know And I hope that one day you may welcome me into your heart as a true and sincre friend. Love Shane xxxx

Shane....so sorry for my late response to this wonderful post. I don't know what your reference to ONE DAY is, for you are already a true and sincere friend whose place is assured in my heart. You know this to be true. I thank you for your continued love and support. Bless you, my dear....Yes....there are many chinks in my armor.

I can think of no better reason to disrobe, although I have disrobed for lust and that was still pretty darn good!

The heart befriends love and is naked before truth Eileen...your heart has the curves of a smooth kiss, and the color of primary passion. Let it not be veiled from itself my Beloved Poetess. "Secure from all prying eyes, I disrobe for love..." as it should only be done...beautifully stated principle...J.A.B.

Thank you for this lovely visit and sweet admonition, Justin. I must say...in many ways, I'm proud of who I am. I know my capacity to love and give when treated right. I'm invest deeply in people and relationships...I expect reciprocity. When that doesn't meet my standards...the door closes. To disrobe for true love is a beautiful thing. There is nothing like the intimacy of becoming one with one who loves and knows your soul intimately and adores it fully and exclusively...the body just is a medium for that higher intercourse and expression of oneness. Nothing compares to this.
