Lemon meringue sweet-laughter-light
fills shadows cerulean blue.
Café de Flore’s summer hot night
where dreams tangerine rendezvous.
Six strings strumming lavender notes
tones, violaceous lilac lace,
heartbeats' delicate music floats
on fanciful lilts ears embrace.
Conversation thrills with saffron!
Hints, amorous in coral blushed sheen,
lashes flirt, lush fluttered chiffon;
intentions are aquamarine.
French liqueur sipped, yellow chartreuse,
City of Light, summer hot bliss.
Inner glow - inhibitions loose,
watermelon lust; wet French kiss!
We danced violet nights into day,
And walked the sunny bay.
We dined champagne and caviar,
And drove far in your beautiful car!
Everyone noticed when we hit the scene,
Like actors on a movie screen.
Each hot party sent invitations.
Had friends in many nations.
I owned lots of lovely dresses;
Had the acquaintance of princesses!
Each day we made the society page.
Our lives were quite the rage.
A blur of operas, theaters, concerts;
We were socially witty, always pert.
Committed no little social crimes.
Trend setters, we graced The Times.
Day and evening, we painted the town!
Wearily, rosy sunsets went down.
No one will ever forget our names.
Such was our fame!
As the moon bathes me with ardent solace where does my day lead,
as I’m drawn to you with bleeding tears
I will trace your lead in this concrete web
Holding effortlessly still
surrounded by dim veil
City illumination lends means
to its forged beating soul
Intoxicating control
drawing to false streets of dreams
Sightless to being
Dismiss urge to yield to a
submissive embrace
Enraptured by seductive
city glittering nightlife

The streetlight spread
like an abandoned strip
old hot spots deserted
with no moths no buzz zip
the party is over
nightlife is dead.
As the moon wafts a brilliant smile
Stars wink in reaction for miles
Gently night tucks in
Darkness settles in with silence
Nocturnal beings residence
Till sunrise ascends
ocean waves crashing
beacon light illuminates ~
blue crabs rummaging
shaking fairyland forest
gazillions of acorns sleet
are the squirrels playing slots —
Vegas on my roof.

Sip of my life from the brown paper bag.
Brown like down town, or clear
like tap water, it doesn't
f*ckIng matter, I'll drink it.
I'll drink the swill from leftover
cans at community college parties.
twilights moonlit glade
nocturnal wildlife forage-
owls wait patiently

Sunny days don't turn me on but I dig when the birds do sing
moonlit nights do rock my world and is my favorite thing
It may sound strange that I prefer the dusk over the dawn
It wakes up my mind and body and a sudden rush comes on
Some say it is depression an avoidance of some sort
I would differ there but many thanks for their support
It is best described by me as a peace the day can't outlive
it does not seem chaotic which is the best time to forgive
The sounds I love also come at nighttime for some reason
I prefer the crickets chirping to an alarm clock any season
Lastly the romance seems to flourish at that hour
when the moon comes out love blooms as does a flower
Sunny days don't turn me on I do not need them to feel heat
moonlit nights do rock my world and then the day's complete
when the sun sets and the moon arises
the real things come with their dark surprises
lay low down and shut yor mouth
and wait for the wild things of the south
Florida panther and the bear
seek the river as they share
savannahs filled with fern and blossom
watch the skink and skunk and 'possum
delve below the surface mirror
peel your vision ever clearer
there's so much for y'all to see
be a tourist up a tree
not with gun nor bow and arrow
bring a camera,snap a sparrow
better yet go on a mission
out to use your best night vision
lay low down and shut yor mouth
and watch the wild things of the south
She longed for endless night.
Darkness that would stay.
Where one could kill unnoticed,
and the freaks come out to play.
She loved the seedy nightlife,
trash, killers and whores.
But she much preferred the sinful things,
done often behind closed doors.
Bullwhips, crops and lollipops,
the sweetest things of all.
The loving pain would last all night,
if only the sun would fall.
But for now it must stay bright,
while I breathe the city smog.
That is until the moon comes out,
when I find my boots and flog...
Lightening bugs playing on my guitar tripping the NightLight fantastic.
The darkness blankets time and space.
The shadows dance across the pane,
as moonlit droplets drape like lace
and play the music of the rain.
The damp chill of the dead of night
seeps in my bones to settle there.
I hug my flannel robe wrapped tight
And burrow deep into my chair.
My hands are warmed by steaming brew;
The kitten snuggles close to me;
My heart is warmed by life and you.
The world seems balanced perfectly.
A movie flickers black and white,
The dog is whining for her food.
The noisy silence of the night
feels soft and comfortably subdued.
Yet slowly dawn intrudes upon
the shadows of my quiet time.
The sights and sounds of night are gone
The company has been sublime!
Walking down the alley, out of the bar
Walking past the dumpster
Hooker heels hanging over the edge
A slight chuckle from my lips as i see her severed head
Turning to a violent howl at the dishonored dead
I gnawed at the skin on my arm till it bleed
I will let it bleed while I sleep in my bed
Bed? Hah, I mean my garbage bin
On top of this hooker, I will sleep
Not now but later, I still must creep
I must feed myself off of the tears young couples weep
As I sever the connection by slitting the throat
Of the man, who's woman is wearing his coat
Her eyes well and water
Her thighs are wet as her virginity I slaughter
I leave her to rot, her pain enforced by my pleasure
I murder two cops , I knit one corpse a sweater
I move fast as the wind, I'm light as a feather
You won't even know I'm there when I use you for pleasure.
From 11pm to 6 depending on the season
Sometimes my work is abstract, sometimes there is a reason
From murder, to rape, to theft, to treason
Controlling the masses, I Am Legion.
The night is my playground, blood and pain are my swing and slide
I care not for my health, just whether you live, or I make you want to die.
