My prison cell is loneliness.
My cries and murmurings confess
that bars invisible now press
and paralyze with heavy stress
and desolation. May God bless
those deeply mired in misery,
too sad to pray expectantly,
the isolated ones like me.

Weeping willows mourn and sigh
for melancholy ones who cry.

Who Mourns For the Poet
Hello friend, it’s me
I’m just writing some poetry
Don’t be afraid
No- I don’t get paid
Do I write from home?
Not really, just any dome
What do I write about?
Pains & joys of life come out
A simple poet writing alone
Don’t own a scepter or a throne
Did you make a...

I stand in constant grace
donned in my virescent cape
where yon brooklet I face
which flows through verdant landscape.

Young sweethearts seek my shade.
So happy ere they leave,
sweet love they have made!
Lonely again, I then grieve.

Knowing not each couple's fate
- wondering and weeping - I wait.

Our Weeping Willow Mourns
By the blue lake one sunny day
a willow watched us laugh and play.
Cool water surrounded our young love
and the willow watched us from above.
We embraced with such passion strong
as the willow sang a love song.
But you suddenly disappeared one...

Stardust clusters scattered over seas
Moonlight caressing everything in sight
Balmy breeze eager to appease
Droplight for love by candlelight

Broken hearts swooning languorous lament
Until dawn ushers sweet quietude
As weeping willow, trusty confidante
Mourns infinite tears of solitude

Troubled emotions and bruised veneers
Park bench beckons all sonneteers

Sunset Mourns a Mirthful Song
T'was the saddest time of the year

When one is resting, one oh so dear

Yearning for the presence that once was there

Reminiscing that white silky hair

But time will pass and time will heal

The heartaches and the pain we feel

Though none ever help but wonder

Where he journeyed...

A Weeping Willow Mourns
Answer me, oh Willow Tree
     As you weep so low
Only trouble do I see
      Why do your tears flow

Has the wind not confided
     That love will humble all
That though we are divided
...

In thickets of the heart
 Thorns with tears to impart
 Will make the willow weep
 Where pain is buried deep

 When moonlight frames love's dream
 By a gently flowing stream
 Winds with tears of sorrow
 Will leave heartache for tomorrow
 And beneath the starry...

A Weeping Willow Mourns
Bended limbs in sadness bowed

What burden do you bear,

Weeping willow, weep with me

For one no longer there.

Here beneath your shading boughs

Tears course down my cheek,

For a life without her

Is no life I seek.

So come weeping willow mourn,

For a heart, now incomplete.

Who Mourns For Uriah
When King David's men went out to fight,
he stayed back home to spend the night.
He stepped out on the rooftop in the evening air,
when a bathing beauty caught his stare.

So King David inquired who the woman might be.
 He was told, Bathsheba the...

Beneath a weeping willow tree,
       my love lays in death-
I missed his last breath,
he wanted to be free.
       Did he have a plan,
       to be beneath this...

Kaho'Olawe Mourns
The barren, red cliffs watched over the crescent crater
As if they had somehow been separated
Together at one time, but no more.
Now, he simply stands guard like a lazy soldier.
Molokini revealed to me discoveries
Like birds and fish that never exist anywhere but here.
No wonder Kaho'olawe mourns.
The...

Mourns of Bad Fate
Muted versions of today’s date,
The silence or the standing wait,
The situation worse in tracks, albeit;
The shining smiles, wide and desolate,
The impacted, soulless sad state,
Unmuted mourns of bad fate.

The tears torn midst escapes,
From the jaws of wickedness,
The you, that struggles is:
Dead pitiless. Soulless.

All was in awe...

Lady Liberty Mourns
America has been hi-jacked
By the mainstream media
Reality now distorted,
  —and the truth scorned

Soundbites of political daggers
Impale a Constitution so wounded
Where patriots are held hostage,
  —as Lady Liberty mourns

(Villanova Pennsylvania: November, 2015)...
