Premium Member Whisperings of Guilt

When your heart shuns flattery's lies,
it opens and lets the truth in.
And time mutes the varied voices
fear once amplified deep within.

You know of love's magic through dreams,
where hope's crumbling walls get rebuilt.
And the sanctuary of sleep
banishes whisperings of guilt.

Your mind's a fantasy playground;
filled with flashes of second sight.
And skeletons of memories,
time's acid tears, have bleached bone white.

Tricksters and Angels coexist;
within echoes of silent screams.
And weave wishes with silver threads;
in reality's world of dreams.

Tricksters spin what you want to hear
their prime motivator is lust.
And like a whisper in the wind
their words are not tethered to trust.

Angels detest the emptiness
that eats away at lonely hearts.
And try to fill your heart with smiles;
they gather as each new day starts.

The Road Was Taken

It was Me All Alone ,
On a Dulcet Seashore ,
Trying To Figure Out Which Road I Belong ,
A Freak Step Could Prove Me Wrong....
What To Do ?
What To Do ?
Choose Which Queue ?
Ah Ya ! Mr. Motivator will Help ,
I thought with Just a faint Yelp.
I went To him Straight ,
Waited For Hours On His Gate ,
Because He's The One To Counsel Me ,
The One Who Carefree.
He Explained Me What's Life ,
Be A Hero In The Strife !
Elucidated What's A Battle ,
Be Not Dumb , You Driven Cattle !
His Words Echoed In My ears,
Until He Asked Me , To Cheer.
Why should I Seek For Dumbness To study It ?
It is Of God and Passes Human wit.
I raced Back to the Seashore ,
With Ruminations Of Crores ,
I sat Again ,this Time To Tackle This Battle,
Hearing The Foeman's rattle.
The road Was Taken ,
And I was Through ,
My Road Trip Begun ,
As I Bid Adieu !!
It was Me all Alone ,
On a Dulcet Seashore ,
Trying To Figure Out Which Road I Belong ,
A Freak Step Could Prove Me Wrong !

Premium Member Spread Your Wings and Fly

How does one know what they are capable of
unless they try?
I stepped on many toes until I found my rhythm
and groove.
I burnt a lot of food before I actually made
something edible.
Many folks want to fly like a pro, but their
wings aren’t fully developed yet.
Crawl first, you will walk in due time, everyone
are at different stages in life.
Don’t let fear paralyze you not to follow your
dreams, let it be a motivator.
Don’t compare yourself with another; you will
know when it's your time to fly.

The Heritage Forgotten

Symbols of Southern and Northern pride
on both sides who lived and died

An American story
  a clash for glory

Whose glory in this land?
  that native man?
  he was already here
  and faced a new fear
for him, who stands and cheer?

Another who didn't ask to come
  whipped and chained by some

Flag of Dixie became a motivator for hate
years beyond those historic dates
once again the South wrought this debate

This time it was nine
who will it be next time?

Those scars, those scars - are not forgotten
left many of our Americans alone and frighten

Oppression and terrorism aren't new
it has always been started by a few-
  from murder to rape
  hardly any one escape

Now, America's Old Glory flies
  standing guard over those cries

Ole confederacy ideas still wants to divide
by creating the Klan, they tried
to destroy peace while others were denied

"We The People," aren't a nation for a few
if our Armed Forces fight for me and you

So, lets not disgrace this divined nation
with a flag that embraces segregation

It's time to mend and get on beyond our past
or their Klan will continue to march in mass

The Star Spangled Banner, of Stars and Stripes
our enemies foreign and domestic love to fight-
this flag, a symbol of freedom against who might

"We The People" under this Banner, are one
from numerous wars hard fought, and won

Like that brave American Eagle that flies high
only one starred flag of Glory should wave him by

Survival

During childhood
It was all about imagination,
As in opening a window
For a fun, medieval war with full set of armor and a sword
And fighting the foes who comes to fight.
I'd always made it unfair
For my enemies;
Seventy-four to forty-seven
And scoring a victory for my land.

As each war was fought, many men were defeated and killed
But with the stakes of losing my country and throne,
Losing or surrendering was not an option.

But a new enemy came, stronger than any other foe I fought,
And his name was Evil Ken,
A dark figure, with the same body tone as mine,
His eyes were bright red,
Both hands were sharp as kitchen knives,
And his energy was pure darkness.
Not only Evil Ken came,
He put his contagious plaque
Over my countrymen;
One claw from his hands
Feels like a painful parade
Full of little ants
Crawling into your skin.

I'd thought in my mind
That my soldiers can be healed
And fight by my side,
But it was too late.

The meadows of my imagination
Became little voices,
Similar voices of fallen men whom I killed,
And my muscles in my right wrist,
Which had the power of democracy,
Became the voices' weapon
Of mass destruction
And turning it against me.

The percentile of me winning this war was 3:1,
Favoring Evil Ken
And fear came through me
Like a man was getting executed by be-headed.
I feared that I will be next on the chopping block
Of iron and steel.

So for this "Never-ending war"
Between Evil Ken and his plaque
Against me
Multiple names were firing at me,
Like ***** and a juvenile delinquent,
But an unfamiliar voice came by my side,
Like an angel from the sky flew down,
And gave me evidence
On how to defeat Him and his plaque.

This evidence was
Leadership, motivator, and a
Survivor.

The war ended with his plaque
And Evil Ken was finally disperse.

I may have won this war,
But more will come in time
And more men will be defeated.

The Entrepreneur

He or she does things in a particular way,
Without regard for possible dismay,
Not that failure is not on their mind,
They just bounce back as they continue to grind,
Some things work, others bomb fast,
But, there's no time to revel or dwell on the past,
The pot of gold is always in sight,
Sometimes it's clear as day or well hidden at night,
The sole motivator is freedom, galore,
And the ability, without reason, to search and explore,
Because one thing is apparent, above all else,
They'll be damned if they make money for somebody else.

Premium Member Life As Perceived Reality

Life As Perceived Reality

We believe and think what beings we are;
Juiced up ready to expel our seeds
to create new generations of replications.
Each with different bumps and rinds divided within,
but in the end, can we really tell one from the other?
What history was written? What tales were told?
Where would our essence go next?
The lemon and lime ponder the finality

Destiny takes us through each vector
and we live life as if it matters.
Reward and struggle makes the day important
to the ones who stay.
Why-wherefore queries would often seem
to lead to equivalent questions but from different questioners.
shall we all arrive at the same conclusions in circulations?
Semantic variables confuse and dissociate until the "why"
split like a atom becomes a force to be reckoned with,
an uncontrollable exhortation which like the wild stallion
is difficult to tame.

We excel in greatness born of trauma, ending in trauma
the pluralistic motivator of the human race
without which, all would all die as a mundane abstractions.
There has to be, more than soul malnourishment
or psyche incompatibilities that fire the ovens of our discontent.

But for the millennium of existence
man's emotional evolution progresses little,
All of the incarnations and soul needs
have been left unsatisfied and yet we still hunger
for a messiah to complete our missions.
.
The free will of maneuverability concedes
the interpretation to mean a narrow winded road
with little room to avoid oncoming traffic;
an open highway with eternal destinations
that never seem to close the open gaps
between the beginning and the end,
until one learns that the beginning was the end

Glory in goodness, as darkness will surely follow.
The earth sends this message with each rotation
In radiant awe and heart hurting sadness

Possibilities are endless it is said.
Once chosen the now becomes the beginning
and the possibilities again become
endless until the final second
when it all ends as prescribed by the prescriber.
Perhaps then, one may see clearly
what was before us all the time
and is thankful that the curtain
finally closes on the succession of plays.

I Need a Girl

They say confessional poetry is repressed sexuality, I believe it don’t you?

I’m a man who puts sanctions on his mind, and chains around my soul, wall's surrounding my own heart.

It has been so long since my bare skin has felt the bare skin of a girl, so long, that I do not want to even begin to imagine when,

Was the last time I locked lips with a girl, held her hand, or stroked her willing hair with my eager hands,

Oh how long it has been.

I’m an idealistic guy who chooses to shut myself into this sanctuary, my own isolation.
A man who tortures his own heart, with a soul that screams and a mind that is close to falling apart.

Infected by rumination.
Imagination suffocated by expectation.
Lofty goals and desperate attempts to achieve some jaded sense of moral fulfillment.
Any meager milestone that will put this ambition to rest, motivated by stress, obligations, and promises best left repressed.

So hopeful a dreamer who, like a young child I reach to the sky, stand tall for a little while then take an all too familiar slide into depression,
A self-created, self-directed, self-manufactured tragedy.
But self-determined to feed this wild ambition, this reservoir of fire.
An energy so shockingly, so alarmingly evident in everything I do, so competitive, so confrontational, so controversial, all I want is to be conversational.
I don’t blame the world for my troubles, we all have burdens to bear, crosses to carry, thoughts that vary.

We choose to be positive or cynical, an optimist, a motivator or a pessimist, to be inspired, to be admired, to receive respect, to let go of regrets.
To love, and to be loved, to be touched and not resist, to give in but not up our inhibitions, to just be freely in this moment, if only for a moment, to let our bodies dance.
To not be critical of romance, to have peace with this world, if only for a day, then today is the day,

That I need a Girl.

Premium Member Ain't No Humble In a Hustlin Heart

Pride is a motivator, a stimulator of scarlet soul
an accelerator to the next glorious goal
generator of newcoming awakening
cultivator out cunning the unkind
cutting away all the doubts and flouts, leaving the babel and rabble behind,
a slayer of beasts and witches,
pulverizer of all that threatens my wishes,

Pride is an educator, a teacher whom need not flatter
or conspire to push passion higher,
a preacher promisin that you can be better than you thought you were,
transformer from the mediocre to a raw reformer
makin my heart the perfect love performer
romanticizer of the love battles that my Lady and I thunder
reinforcer of our durable dreams, encourager for our beautiful hunger,

Pride has weather, moving me to smile at the wind and bear the barbs of error,
an innovator of my instincts, reflector of bleeding color
It compells me to be a competitor, a finisher, and a star runner,
my blessings won't bow to humble hoaxes
my talent cannot tolerate the tamming of tragedies
my courage will not cower with the false virtue of humble hypnotism
ain't no way a honkeytonk humbler gonna wear away my sway,
my faith will not stumble upon the stones of humble wastelands,
I wasn't born to walk with humble eyes,
I'm alive to thrive with a sacred strive,
in pride I hear the voice of my Creator say, be great or die!

Premium Member 'incomplete'

I can continue to drift
To and fro
Pretend that all I am;
All I ever was;
Was you

But this is not it
We all have some hidden purpose
That is not even ours to know

You just continue –

Pretend that all you are;
That all you were;
Was me

We can do this
We can stop the questions we always have
Take those little guidelines
Grow from that

Move forward –

Not remain on the spot
Listen to the beat of your heart
That is your compass
Your motivator
As long as it skips a beat
Your purpose is not complete

Even if all I am
Ends up not being you
Even if all you are
End up not being me

Our hearts are still beating
Our purpose still incomplete

Purple Elephant

The beautiful things we ignore
The ulgy things we enjoy
In search of the purple elephant we ravage the earth
from Alpha to eta
Down to Omega
There is no more tree in this dystiopian land
Because we can no more farm
Greed has burried our land
Looking for miracles we forget our God
In search of churches that call their pastors Lord
But I dont need to step out of my room because I talk to my Creator
He is my motivator and my protector
Young ladies go out in search for the purple elephant
They crave for wealth that is not relevant
They try to cheat time
And do all sort of crime
Selling their bodies for money
But they become an empty shell
Like a dry barren well
Why search for the purple elephant
When there is treasure under your feet
And your mind and be expanded
So that you never worry about what to eat
In search of the purple elephant that you may never find
When if you go across the Atlantic and leave this place behind
Your paradise is in your mind
It all start with how you think
If you love your fellow brother
Then this world will never shrink

Premium Member Driver of Victory

Victory*…
…genuinely triumphant…
is and can never be achieved alone
since it needs a driver, propeller, motivator, instigator.

Grateful am I
for my victorious life-phases
brought by enablers… significant, remarkable
who have helped me become who and what I am today.

My first human drivers are my parents
who exposed me to life’s wondrous beauty;
I have siblings constantly cheering me toward good success;
There are my teachers who are mentoring me along truth’s jubilation.

Authorities guide me
to utilize overcoming courage;
as well as biblical precepts that instruct
in facing challenges gloriously, winning peacefully.

Most importantly, I have the best
and indeed the perfect victory-Driver…
though sometimes mysterious and unfathomable
…yet He is always miraculous; yes, mightily omnipotent.

He is GOD Himself---my Saviour and Lord
Who conquers my failures and hoists me up
from falls, making me a champion by His grace
working in my life so as to become others’ victory-driver, too.

*1Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Guard Your Tongue

A little tool yet a powerful force
forges unity and strength
Yet creates a great divide

Elusive as a sunbeam
It slithers and slips
A challenge to bridle a thorn in the hip

Such a great motivator
Promoting confidence here
But chaos there

A weapon of mass destruction
This wee little spark
Sends mountains into raging fires

A double- edged sword
One side dripping with honey
The other the venom of a viper

Man who with a little rudder controls huge battleships
 Will struggle eternally to bridle
 this wee tool …..The tongue.

Motivation - Anything Goes But Money

To a manager its clever
To knowledgeable employees its torture
To smart employees its exploitation
To the rest it feels like slavery
What separates a motivator from a con artist
What separates a motivator from an abuser
Cant prove it.
Does that make it legal
Does that make it fair
They don’t care
Pay me what I’m worth
I’ve got nowhere since birth
They keep me poor
As they want more
All I want is somewhere to live
My life is give, give, give
Nothing in return
But I learn
