Spread Your Wings and Fly

How does one know what they are capable of
unless they try?
I stepped on many toes until I found my rhythm
and groove.
I burnt a lot of food before I actually made
something edible.
Many folks want to fly like a pro, but their
wings aren’t fully developed yet.
Crawl first, you will walk in due time, everyone
are at different stages in life.
Don’t let fear paralyze you not to follow your
dreams, let it be a motivator.
Don’t compare yourself with another; you will
know when it's your time to fly.

Oh for some wings, imagine flying up high, but I went that route in my last poem, Mystic the fiery fairy, and I saw the pollution that covered our precious planet, and Mystic and I both cried - well Alexis, i'm ready to have a go at it, but only if you join me, then we can become famous together. I have made this a fave dear friend. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

Good point! It seems young people today despair if they are not innately equipped to excel without practicing!

Icarus tried it and failed. Guess if God wanted us to fly He would have given us wings. But it's fun to think of it. Hugs
