Best Moral Code Poems

There are no more tests
Like Daniel, I stand with the rest

Though like Stephen I may be stoned
But I bet you I can't be cloned

But I am not about choke
Just because I have taken a toke
Now you know that was joke
As I blow out this puff of smoke

Moses was the one who said it best
As the words rattled from his chest

Then there was the one with the moral code
You know the patient one they called job

You can’t forget about Jonah and the whale
And his story is similar to my tale

Cause I am that guy with the pail
You know, the monotone angel who was in hell
Now, I am here to let you all out of jail
A place where I no longer dwell
And here is my story I tell

Pour, pour, pouring…dark fire will not avail

Slip Away

Slip away …

Will you slip away to the dark side,
Will you worship money and power too,
Do you see any wrong on the inside,
The moral code of you .

Do you really think you are better,
All equal under God,
Just a little deceitful to yourself,
Do you get the liars nod.

Do you see the hurt you do ,
Supporting the monied rich,
They want your last penny too,
greedy son’s wanting it.

So give your vote to the rich man,
So he can have his way,
He sent all the jobs offshore,
Cheap labor is his plan, today,
For sure I say…

Premium Member Air, Water and Spirit Talking

I am the air talking, I want to remind you that breathing is important,
in Canada, the Indigenous People consider me sacred,
and have appointed themselves my protector,
you must realize that without me the earth will vanish,
I am essential for every single living thing people, animals, and plants.

I am the water talking, I am the giver of life and I am alive,
spiritual and symbolic among the Indigenous People of Canada,
I represent both life and death,
I am creation and destruction, I am soothing and I am powerful,
I am nourishment and deprivation, I am important.

I am spirit talking, I am a way of life, a moral code to live by,
it is about lore, customs, rituals, and love that unite us together,
a person's spirit returns after death as an animal or plant,
and each person has lived many lives, though you do not remember,
our history and spirit is expressed in stories, songs, art and dreams.

We are the elements of air, water and spirit,
all connected in this world by nature and beliefs,
and each element either us or others have their own energy to give,
so, we suggest to each person to live in harmony with the world,
because we all share the same soul.

Anthropomorphism For Beginners.

First of all I would like to say
A big Thank You to everyone
Please just find a spot to sit down
Yes, on the floor, Agnes doesnt mind.
I had the chairs removed last week,
After that sit-in stunt they pulled.
No demands yet, still not talking.

Pay no attention to Cybil
She's feeling frisky I'm afraid
I'd throw her outside but sadly
There's no way that I can trust her
As long as she's under my roof
And the vet bills are paid by me
Its my moral code she'll follow!

So, relax, breathe and say hello
To the thing sitting beside you
We're all beginners here today
Nothing will laugh at your mistakes
Just one warning before we start
Names have very powerful magic
Be careful what label you choose.

Try not to change tack half way through
Or do the process more than once
Don't confuse or insult targets
And most important of all
Don't name everything the same
That will just confuse everything
Any questions? Right! Lets begin.

Courtesy and Respect

Respect is never asked for.
It's never required.
Courtesy is not a bore.
But it's important so we can be wired.

Wired to create that civilised moral code and whole,
Not a transient illusion in this age of fast cars,
Not a worthless idea in this age of selfish goals,
But necessary to avoid conflict and wars.

But the evil ones care not for that.
Care not for morality and decency.
Their sea of deceit swamps through us so we're fat,
With the grease of inhumanity and immorality.

God will teach us the way.
He'll teach us to show respect and courtesy,
In this world where no one cares to open doors for the elderly,
Where no one will donate a dollar for a near dead kid in a place far away.

If the world were truly whole and infused with God's spirit,
There'd be a difference, we'd be part of a new loving clan.
The chaos would cease as we'd no longer be in that dark pit.
Our unity will withstand devil's poison, heralding a new dawn for man.

Wired

W as it just yesterday when
I found a vestibule
R ight next to my goals
E lse something is wrong, which brings
D elineation of a moral code!

I would set the world afire with political desire to achieve and to aspire.
I am going to be a political activist on women rights.
I have step-to-the-cause to claim ownership of my rights.
I am a political powerhouse not to deny.

I have Thunderclap and no response transgress.
Now the world I am within is in a doctrinal arrest.
Transmutation has taken place to transpire social injustice.
Transformation becomes work ethics.

The solidification of a soul is a sensation inner cored
Underlying posture of strength positioned to win.
Bearing the cargoes of a ship those encumbrances of conspiracy,
Insofar, I am the scent of my soul.
Therefore, I am a cannon passing through time not afraid to live for what is right.

Premium Member Cantaloupes Can'T Elope

I've heard that cantaloupes can't elope

It's against their moral code

And rhubarbs are NOT allowed to argue

I've heard that people sometimes turnip and pea

Not a very classy bunch I must say!

When you give somebody a raspberry it's very rude

Had another good one but it got squashed

Gourd won't let me make fun of his name

Grapes are not allowed to gripe

Bet you're not wild about figs... that figures

If you take a leek in a supermarket

Security will beet you on the melon

When the cashier picks up that yellow fruit

It's okay to say, “that's a nice pear you have there”

If you give a horseradish, they'll spit it back at you

I don't see what they've got to grape about

Okay that one was kinda corny

Cauliflowers are pretty in the spring

Lettuce entertain you

Objectively Me

Preface

My name is Verlena Sexton.
I am in my forties.
I have three eccentrics – Oland. Emily, and Tony.
My adult children are my knowledge base in the world of iniquity.
I continue to face what I am depleting.

Form

In this bio, I must be unique.
As a Social Scientist, I will also be indiscreet to the point of reality in why I am objectively me.

Conformity

I grew up in Leland, Mississippi in a single parent household.
My great grandmother vested soul.
She and I would read scripture together to inform personality.
She would tell me this would ensure equity and identity.

My mom was a homemaker and a strong woman.
She dealt with life as it came.
She raised six children with little help from their dad.
All are grown now and she rests in Heaven.
My oldest sister is there as well.

My dad was married with a family at home.
I am the outside child from his union with my mom.
Outside means, I now look in to discover genealogy and to emerge into a biblical presence.
My dad is disable and doing well.
When he is call by Jehovah, I know he will be ready.

Orthodoxy

I am just an orphan looking for home.
I am not lonely, but I am alone.
Many obstacles I have overcome.
My love of family is a moral code.
As a mother, I must continue to be as strong.
I remember my mom in times of guidance.
My dad is always there with insight.
I am the cause and effect that manifest in life.
My great grandmother words are to believe in that which is precise
And to live a life vested in the spirit of Christ amplifies.
“The world is filled with liars my child. Trust will come via a rightful mind.”

She Has No Religion Or Moral Code

A B i t c h With Too Many Babies

By Elton Camp

To excess population she keeps adding
Yet with males she’s always gadding

Marriage is a concept to her unknown
It’s just a quickie and then she’s gone

To no moral code does she subscribe
That sexual freedom might proscribe

For her actions, she has no shame
And ignores any attempt to defame

She doesn’t even think it’s rude
To go out in public totally nude

Doctor bills she never has to pay
But keeps giving births anyway

Birth control she never will try
For she sees no good reason why

Her offspring never read or write
To her that is absolutely all right

She abandons them soon as grown
Their future life is to her unknown

“Tut, tut,” there is no need to say
For she will keep doing it anyway

To read this one close, you’d better
The b i t c h in question is an Irish Setter

Still Here

If there's one thing
   my parents knowed:
It was we had
   a moral code.

Though mighty poor,
   we behaved rich.
With manners taught
   o'er a hickory switch.

At the table,
   or sittin' on pews,
We sure as heck
   knowed t'follow the rules.

Stealin ' and lyin'
   just weren't a choice.
Nor cheatin' and fightin'
   or raisin' our voice.

The children today're
   no better or worse.
Though they might shout
   And they might curse.

And though they might
   have gone out and lied.
Fact is folks,
   morals never have died.

Thankfully...
   morals
   never have
   died.

The Pansy Pink

The Pansy Pink
Twenty second of October, 2013 almost over,
A new Bikie gang was formed called the pansy‘Pink’,
Their brother now in prison 15 years with no remission?
Cos he wore a Bikie, belt? Ah yes I think,

Down on the dusty borders, Police men wait with their orders?
To intercept any Bikie, who does from interstate, try to creep,
Old Soldiers on their Harleys wear their colors, been to Bali?
Arrested and searched, like some other lousy sheep,

The moral code of many,
including Police men, drops the penny,
The law is wrong that they are forced to keep,
Power crazed polititians,
laughed at with sardronic gasp derision,
its enough to make an angel bloody weep
And the bikies forced to wear the prison pink,

Bikies say they wear the pink for breast cancer ladies,
stick that one up you, son of hades??
Cos the madness and the badness,
You wouldn’t do to sheep,
But lunacy abounds in Queensland, madness,
surrounds,
Just ask anyone you meet…

Misotheist Antonym

Okay, so most of us are either atheists or belong to some kind of religion, even if loosely. The religion likely demands that the convert love and respect the deity, therefore making the great majority of theists eutheists.

With that out of the way, has anyone ever even met a misotheist?

What's the deal with that?

We see the crossfire between christians and Good Prophet Dawkins followers on youtube comment threads, but you just don't hear about misotheists.

They believe in god, but hate and distrust him.

Christian misotheists are aware that they are going to hell under their understanding of the world, yet are resigned to this fate due to their personal moral code not to serve a god they believe is evil.

I don't think there are actually any misotheists. Just hipsters who might answer censuses with it, and list 'domestic partnership' as their marital status.

If there was one, though, I'd like to meet him. That's one badass motherf*cker.

*Footnote: I googled 'misotheist antonym' while writing this.

Premium Member Moral Code

Our journey in life can be a rocky road
we must strive to follow a moral code
The correct path is one we must choose
it's wise to keep clear of drugs and booze
Please make sure you don’t drink and drive
as folk get killed who should still be alive
So do not take drugs or hit the bottle
then get in a car and hit the throttle!

Premium Member Dying Slowly

Sense surreal feel in the last light,
Lust of life wanes in sickly gaze;
Outcome reveals a dizzy flight,
Words surge in vain in death's slow maze.
Doom and gloom feed what horrors hedge,
Enter the field where pain betrays:
Ask as you bleed to see harsh edge,
Touch beyond shield the final play;
Hide not your face from what must be.
Distance feels near in dying mode;
Yield soul to grace in truth calmly,
Invoke lost cheer in moral code;
Now dare to feel the coming chill,
Grace ever thrills the mystic hills.
