Moral Code

Our journey in life can be a rocky road we must strive to follow a moral code The correct path is one we must choose it's wise to keep clear of drugs and booze Please make sure you don’t drink and drive as folk get killed who should still be alive So do not take drugs or hit the bottle then get in a car and hit the throttle! This one really hits home to me Jan. I lost my 26-year-old cousin to a drunk driver. I hope many read and heed. New year hugs ~ John

I love how you did your poem on morals, Jan. I almost forgot all about this contest as I made my list of poems to work on. My time is going away. I had computer problems all day and had to have Geek Squad fix it remotely for me. NOw I need to do so many other things and school starts tomorrow. Oh my, why is there not enough hours in the day? Why? WHy?

Impressive! I doubt that two people today out of ten have ever heard of the word 'throttle". Your wisdom is peeking out.

I agree Jan, too man people think only of their pleasure, and in doing that someone lose someone they treasure. Wish we could show them a video tape of the after math, that would make them stone sober, Thank you for sharing Jan, Happy New Year dear friend.

Sadly not everyone follows the code jan and leave a trail of destruction in their wake. Good luck in the contest. Tom
