Chocolate Moose Girl
A Sunday brunch one day went me
when she I saw, at table three.
From my mind to forget, never nor maybe.
For on this radiant sunny Sunday afternoon
in the Botanical Garden, my favorite room
sat at a table, grandmother and she.
The walls lined in fragrant ferns of green
baroque blossom ladies in gilded frames seen.
Her simple beauty profile delicate cherry flourish tree.
Now this vision alone, fulfilled my eyesight hunger greatly
when added she did this simple act make.
To her pink full lips a taste took she.
When delicate and slow she lifted
her chocolate moose to mouth she gifted.
From the moose chocolate, I know previous take.
The finest ever no chief could bake,
Satisfying, soft coolness, still lingering in me.
A sublime sexual treat,
then look I did, toward her feet.
When out rolled her toes
from brocade slippers of gold, I see.
Her barefoot toes ached
to reveal her pleasure
with each spoon to lip,
delight, same measure.
My mind to forget, never nor maybe.
Bull Moose
I was sitting on a rock out near Cripple Creek
Panties at my ankles, I had to take a leak
He sauntered out beneath a tree
Stopped and simply looked at me
Old grey legs, a lengthy beard
Eight foot tall he had appeared
Shoulder, hump and head held high
Antlers reaching to the sky
No pack of wolves, no big bad bear
This guy attacked, they wouldn’t dare
For with his rack and slashing hooves
This forest beast had deadly moves
But getting back to what I did
Wet panties up my legs I slid
Off the rock so quick I ran
Friends all giving me a hand
I laughed and cried once in the car
This memory a lasting scar
For friends told friends and they told friends
And round and round it never ends
So if you’re up on Cripple Creek
And find yourself a need to leak
Leak with caution - be aware
This old Bull Moose still lives up there

True story I believe. There was a picture of a moose on facebook along with a description of its size and actions. One comment was from a female friend of the poster about her encounter. I put the two together as a poem.
It's true, the plural of moose is meese
Just like the plural of goose is geese
Who wrote the rules
To meese, it's cruel
Wanna be normal, this silliness must cease
Carrie had a moose fine if you ask me
Asked my dog Lee out for a date in Kree
When she kissed the novice dog
Out there was a smell of fog
I invited Carrie over for tea
Large Moose
Big rack sleek lines
Elegant slow movements
Bows his head when on green grass dines
God's gift
One day it's Doctor Seuss.
Now it is a goose
who took to the back of a bulky brown moose.
It was said the goose had a bald head
of an eagle who is exceptionally regal.
The goose rode the moose until they came upon a pond
this is were the goose envisioned she belonged.
When the goose saw the inhabitance of the pond
by an exquisite white elegant swan
she decided that they'd be moving on.
The goose and moose then kept a looking
for a place that wasn't tooken.
Then along came a gander
who did not pander
that lead the goose's heart astray.
The goose and moose then stumbled upon
a vacant barn, in it a cage,
one where all the chickens once laid.
The goose took to the stoop
and climbed up to roost.
Once she got settled
she made a nest
out of grass found in the meadow.
She laid eggs, making it a dozen
that is all she had in her oven.
For several weeks she heard not a peep
the eggs seemed sound a sleep.
One day, it happened!
the eggs began a hatching!
and the nest was full of action!.
Then she took her twelve goslings
across the meadow
where the sheep had settled.
Then up the street
to a water filled creek.
Where they swam all the day long
while joyfully honking out this song
we've found the place were we belong.

Thinking of girls in my life back then
Searching for beauty was no use
I'm sure one was from a horror movie
She possessed the appeal of a moose!
Promised I wouldn't mention names
But her first initial is Thelma
Had a huge wart on the tip of her nose
Gorgeous? What can I tell ya!
Let me explain 'bout that lovely schnoz
It was as long as from here to Tuesday
Protruding teeth, was missing a few
Just a little off white... good news eh!
Her eyes were kinda distracting too
Each looked in a different direction
Hair was stringy and different lengths
Blue lipstick and a very bad complexion!
So all in all, I guess you might say
Wasn't one of your ravishing beauties
Body odour like that of a koala
But as far as I could tell, no cooties!
Had some redeeming features though
She possessed a heart of pure gold
Would donate the shirt right off her back
Problem was it was smelly and old!
Sure could pick 'em way back when
Her daddy was worth a few million
So to me, Thelma was a raving beauty
Now my wife and I'm worth gazillions!

Hippy was a potty moose
Read three books by Dr Seuss
One about a Cat
One about a Hat
One about Horton on the loose

I wish I was a chocolate moose,
I’d have an enormous caboose!
I’d love to try to reproduce,
more tiny mooses on the lose!
I’d act like a silly Canadian goose
and perch under the spruce.
They’d call me the god Zeus,
woe is me…there’s just no use-
O, I wish I was a chocolate moose.
I wish I had antlers of tremendous,
they’d be colossal and stupendous.
A woman moose may look horrendous
with horns like Maleficent so prodigious.
If only I was renown and prestigious,
like the Pope in Rome so religious.
I would never be tough and litigious,
fighting over sheep so disputatious-
O, I wish I had antlers of tremendous.
I wish I was muscular with big eyes,
they would seek prey and hypnotize.
Although I’d be a moose to compromise,
never causing extinction or demise.
I’d start a moose school and advise
all the tiny mooses how to be wise.
But I would never ever surmise
but teach good health and exercise-
O, I wish I was muscular with big eyes.
I wish I was a chocolate moose,
I’d have an enormous caboose!
I wish I had antlers of tremendous,
they’d be colossal and stupendous.
I wish I was muscular with big eyes,
they would seek prey and hypnotize.
I wouldn’t be a loner or recluse,
and feel the need to be contentious,
I’d be a moose all would recognize!

I interrupt him and he chokes on the words
I don wanna hear your sugar coated words
To me your kind is more vile than crack
Talk of crack its there but its Okey..
for a stitch in time is a rigid proccess
Rather better you snitch its Okey..
Talk of enlightment bujas get real
Its real dark it real sad it night
Daylight knocks and mine eyes
see light once again
Defender you almost destroyed
Whats sacred you almost spilt
The sacred wine - blood
Defender they hurt you but
But you had to let go
Now you have to write
Write a novellette
luis lee are you not
Not the master lee
Defender i got a visit
From the moose of war...
Defender i embraced
Conflict albeit i didnt end up
End up in the abbyss..
Intra-personal conflict
Is the kettle soup of creativity

If the plural of mouse is mice,
And more than one louse is lice,
Then it seems to me, that logically,
The plural of grouse should be grice.
A single goose duplicates into geese,
A mongoose produces mongooses,
So let me stick out my neck
And ask why the heck
The plural of moose is moose,
And not meese,
Or much better yet,
Why not mooses?
Author's note: Dear reader, if you're interested in a little more along this line, I invite you to take a look at my article/essay, "The Wonderfully Awful English Language".
Dark shapes on the horizon pierce the edge;
Morning's tenuous light painting the East.
Brittle frosted grass crackle with each sledge;
On the immutable path of these beast.
A cow moose demurely leads the slow jaunt;
The bereft bull's palms amble the same trail.
With rut beginning, his slow chase will haunt,
This lone burly female to no avail.
As if tied on a string he keeps her pace;
Raising his crowned antlers only to gaze.
At formidable beauty his loins race;
The sketch of her body lost in morn's haze.
Just one interlude is all that he seeks;
She slows in wait as his interest piques.
