some see the beauty in a sunset
and some see the end of a day
doe eyed plea for help
nothing on earth can withstand
puppy in the rain

I ride a leaky newspaper raft
Adrift on the linoleum
Anxiously awaiting an
An attack of smelly
squirming happiness
covered in fuzz:
Puppy love.
bountiful land hungry world solar farms cover
puppy love is like carnival magic and amazing rides
ferris wheels and carousel horses on the merry-go-round
pushing, shoving, and holding hands stomach- twisting inside out
cotton candy, caramel apples, with music in the background
everlasting love
initials carved on a tree
lasting impression

deathly ill, distant light, caring eyes
Winter moonlight night
Silver queen showing her face
Love birds here and there
sunshine bright snowshine
squinting hand shade welcome you
warming through layers
took a walk
sunny day
car alarm
morning campfires glow
daybreak gray soft voices greet
good shepherd tends flock
financiers of war
politics and profits
tears of mothers
long winter shadows
end day before I'm ready
so early to bed
last years leaves
against the fence
warm winter day
A house upon my shoulders
with a garden for the mind,
an address the earthly body
could never hope to find
noisy crow
digging squirrel
privacy fence
