Best Love Poems Poems

Words

Words can be as deadly as a knife
It can penetrate straight through your heart
Bleed all the spirit right out of your life
Twists your mind and tear you apart

Words can bring you pain and sorrow
Weaken the spirits of today and tomorrow
Breaks your heart and squeeze your head
Leave you living yet leave you dead

But words of love from the very start
Can instill much happiness to your heart
Eased your pain and comfort your mind
Have you seeing yet have you blind

Hot. . . white hot Sahara sand am I.
Turning, ever turning, how I burn
white. . . hot white beneath the desert sky.
In search of sweet relief, for you I yearn,
shifting, ever shifting, I’m a dune.
Each particle of me is filled with heat.
I roll beneath the sun of afternoon,
ever passion parched though time be fleet.
I’m drifting to the brink of mad desire.
Cool. . . blue cool, sweet pool that I pursue-
mirages that appear quench not my fire.
Blue. . . cool blue, my remedy is you.
I’m half a continent; my love is vast.
Reveal yourself, Oasis, at long last!

The turtles roam where the butterflies go
How can I say what your love means to me
A poem I write to hopefully show
To convey with tender words sincerely

My love for you continually grows
For in my heart I hold your loving smile
Inspiring me to write you endless prose
Our time too brief though your love does beguile

All I can offer is my heart to you
In return for yours that will never stray
I promise you I shall always be true
Hear my words of love and let them convey

Of my undying love until the end
For now this love poem to you I send

Love Is a Gamble

They say love is a gamble but that can't be true. Because I wasn't gambling when I found you. I wasn't looking for love, my heart was cold. If I did have a hand, my hand I would fold. Why take a chance on something so rare? It's a game, it's a gamble, and it just isn't fair. But neither is life and what's life without love? It's no life for me so I look up above. As I pray for some help in this game I can't win. I push the button, my chance starts to spin. Just when I think my luck has ran out, I run into you and lose all doubt. So if love is a gamble, then grab the dice. No matter the cost, I'll pay it twice. I'll give you my chips, my tokens and more. I'll give you my love, it's you I adore. So if love is a gamble, then gamble you must. It's all or nothing, it's all or bust.

Premium Member Poets Who Write Love Poems

Love poems are not written by poets in love;
They are written by poets infatuated with the concept of love.

Poets write of their dreams;
Poets write with their imaginations;
Poets write of hope and fantasy.

Only poets who dream of love, write love poems;
Only poets who imagine ecstasy and passion, compose love sonnets;
Only poets who hope to love and fantasize about love’s allure, pen lyrics of love.

Poets who are in love write poems of butterflies, bubbling streams and blooming blossoms;
For, when you are in love, butterflies fluttering by fulfill your dreams;
Bubbling brooks of cool, effervescent water engage your imagination;
Fields of flowers in bloom with rainbow hues and fragrant bouquets are what you hope for and fantasize about.

Poets in love, live love and write about other wonders;
Poets dreaming of love; imagining love’s splendor; hoping and fantasizing about being paid a visit by Cupid’s arrow,
And, only those poets,
Write love poems.

Two

Star-crossed lovers? Not even close
The two were brought together at first sight, it seemed no future
Came from different families. One with an alcoholic mother. The other, never even saw a glimpse of his father.
The tale of two, both had only one pursue.
The feeling of gentle, soft, light, addictive emotion.
None had no clear dreams of tomorrow.
The nights are filled with courtship, a chase to impress the other.
One moment hot, one moment cold, the rest, just right.
Like a ripping mango, once green, now grew shades of yellow.
The days came, after one another. Filled with tears both of melancholy and joy.
Trials after trials, the tests made them tougher, stronger, milder.
Fights came about, shouts, screams, pure disaster.
Struggles were like winter. A way to make them closer, together, sharing warm laughter.
From there, the fruit of their shared endeavors resulted in four successors.
Each one varies, much like the seasons.
Yet all dream of creating presents to give to their creators.
Time ages all. Time heals it all. Time makes it all.
The two continues to smile together.
Reminiscing the past, revisiting memories that lasts.
They both continue to live, only to paint a better picture.
Time creates it all. Time tells it all. Time knows it all.
When will the two fall? When will it all dull?
Together, the two will awaken, the two will never be broken, the two will happen.

The Gift

Dear freinds, poetry soupers!

So sorry I've not been around lately for I have a message to the world, THE GIFT! I now am presenting a TV show called Mind, Body and Sol here in Spain. I have also started my second book, my poems will be posted! love you all!!!!

THE GIFT is the answer of a bright new dawn

The law of attraction in poetry form

These poems guide you to a life of success

They are simple instructions, one can easily digest

I live by the law and my life is so sweet

I would love to share this inspirational treat

What I think about I bring about, It's incredibly true

It's all in the THE GIFT about dreams that come true

We all need hope, and now is the time

The key to success, a changing of minds

When you take this on trust, what you are about to read

It will show you how, in life to succeed.

The theory has been around for thousands of years

But been kept a secret, so it appears

Now it’s out, of this there is no doubt

I would like to tell you what it’s all about.

What you are thinking, and how you feel

Is creating your future, It's called the law of attraction

And on this subject, I have been very well tutored

Life seems to be full of highs and lows

We all need a shield for the knocks and the blows

Controlled thoughts, and controlled feelings

Will grant you your wishes, and all you are dreaming.

Nothing comes easy, like learning to drive

But when you have mastered it well, your spirits alive

Nothing can stop you; you're well on your way

Confidence takes over, it’s a brighter day

The same on this subject, in which that I write

For when you have mastered the concept

Your goals are in sight, you become what you think about

Sounds crazy but true, It's all in the poems

Written solely for you.

Read the rhymes, over and over

THE GIFT will be your 4 leaf clover

We all have the power, we all can succeed

Enjoy the poems

TAKE IN WHAT YOU READ!!!!!!!!

ANGEL'S TOUCH

Did you ever stop to think,
What this angel's touch really mean?

Smiling at you at a flower's blush
Giving you the time to think and hush
When you wanted a melody to hear
She sang you a song in joyous tears

When you badly needed determination;
She is ready to give you inspiration
When only a joke could make you smile;
She flashed it to you in shortest mile

When you wanted a game to play;
She partnered with you in gay
When only an hour you swore to spend;
She wants to be with you until the end

When strings of thorns are poured upon you;
With arms wide open, she welcomed you
She comforted and gave you might
All these all she did with heartfelt delight

Now, I ask you...
Have you ever felt the touch of an angel?

3 Love Poems: a Gift, Now I Know, Why You

A GIFT

You've given me
a piece of your soul
inside a sunken brown envelope
written handle with care
as if I was born heavy-handed.

You've telescoped
my soul once more
in its caravan
on a mountain slope
stooped by a bulky backpack.

It's good you've frozen
that portion of my long journey
I could have missed the sun
just because I stooped too low
that I could only see my heavy footsteps.

I've always known
when I unwrap your love
with my crystal-pure letter opener
I've trapped a powerful force
that allows me to forge ahead
with its timely smiles.
what I just received
is static showcase of a dynamic love!

NOW I KNOW

Now I know
you covered yourself
in coming to me
for I was too green
to know myself
that outgrows my form.

I am sorry
if I hated anything
that didn't speak
my unfulfilled language
though what it attempted
was to enrich it and my world.

You spoke my language
nonetheless
and maneuvered me
into marching
to my inner heart.

How could I resist
from following
strangely familiar footprints
to a wide lawn home
almost forgotten
in the dark smoke
of my activities.

WHY YOU

Could it be
That my footprints
Have lead me
To meet and see you as beautiful?

I could have seen you
any other else
If these noise
would have stopped crowding
about my sensitive ear.

Maybe I was formed
To see you as I do
And there's no way
To be otherwise.
Or if there is
It could be a slim probability
I could not wait
For time to unwrap
Your true worth
For I have my heart
Filled with pregnant rose
And to wait a little longer
Would mean forever.

It could be
that you are an eclectic
of personalities
that lighted my footprints
or, perhaps, watered them with tears.
in my case I chose you
and that's a footprint hard to erase!

We waited
the way people once waited for love
without urgency,
without doubt.

Days leaned into nights,
weeks learned patience,
Months held their breath.
Somewhere far away,
a hand moved slowly,
thinking of us between words.

The letter was never promised,
Yet our hearts knew its shape.
It travelled across borders,
carrying the smell of home
or a foreign sky,
ink pressed gently by longing.

The waiting itself was beautiful,
listening for footsteps of the postman,
for the soft arrival of hope
at the door.
at last delivered it,
But love had written it.

On a coloured page,
feelings bloomed like quiet flowers.
Every curve of handwriting
proved someone took time for us,
paused for us,
missed us enough to wait.

Now words come instantly,
light as air,
without warmth or weight.
No trembling hands,
no folded corners,
or a tried petals of roses
No silence between sentences.

Those letters are gone,
But they live in memory
unseen,
deeply missed.
now treasures of a time
When love trusted time itself.

To witness the fountain of LOVE
The redeeming endless flow

At post teenage
some day at tea a committee
my mates same age
while seated a round wooden chair
legs crossed, sipping coffee
did asked me

why do you speak in proverbs
poetry they mean to say.
I air to them in strong verb
living poetry is great pay

In poetic pen
pour my tears
my write for men
in verse

on the tables of my mind
is engraved poetic rhymes
poetry is fertility to my kind
like fertilizer the farm
I smile and chime

On the day of my birth
to this world I ushered
I vest in shirt
to enter

POETRY was there
to curdle me with care
SHE smeared me with her
poetic cream on my curly hairs

and as a toddler
when I blink
am full of laughter
with my poetic winkle

my poetic milk teeth you did see
as an infant
you did gaze at me
poetic baby you did me call at instant

Am Poem grown now!
Stamp my attitudes on my write
customize my plight
to copyright

My lyrics in verse
of my tears
It sheds

Prose penned
my mind
in kind

Poems
to tend
my dines

I feed
I live
believe
to succeed

I hunger in poetics
I so eat poetry
I thirsts in poetics
so I drink poetry

I air in poetics
so I breath poetry
I feel bored without poetics
I love cling poetry

I dream poetics
so I live poetry
I sing poetics
I speak poetry

I sleep poetics
I sit poetically
smile poetics
chime poetically

walk poetically
laughter in poetics
work poetically
after all in poetics

am a Poet
with
a bleeding
pen.

God Is Love

If you lean onto Love,
You will have conquered it all.
Its application is ubiquitous,
The things it can do are measureless.

Be warned,
It can break before it heals,
It can cause chaos before it brings harmony,
You must trust the process.

Love is a universal doctor,
A surgeon that operates without anesthesia.
Sometimes you need the pain, fear, or hurt,
To comprehend its irrefutable power.

When it manifests,
It breeds compassion,
Produces kindness,
Brings about peace,
Strengthens courage,
And promotes unity.

You are its product,
You cannot exist outside its boundaries,
Because love is to being, what water is to body,
It must be home base for all of our actions.

Let His love,
Flow abundantly in you,
Heal every wound,
Break every chain,
And drown all your fears and worries.

Let it make you whole,
And make your heart your home.
For God is love,
And he that dwells in love
Dwells in God
And God in him.

I Never Write Love Poems

I NEVER WRITE LOVE POEMS

You say I never write love poems.
It doesn't mean I don't feel that way.
With all the love you've shown me darlin'.
You are my reason to live every day.
When we're lying holdin' each other
We feel the moment
We don't need the words.

You say I never write love poems.
I know you've given me reason to.
It's not that I'm uninspired
There's just no poem that comes close to you.
When you kiss me it's such a feeling,
Words can't express
What you do to me.

You say I never write love poems,
Declaring my desire for you .
You are my living poem
A breathing Sonnet
I'm just a sentence lost within a verse.
My pen is idle while my heart beats in rhythm
To the sound of your voice
Like the melody of a song

You say I never write love poems
I plead you forgive my indigent hand
Empty of words to create a love poem
Filled with the emotion of a Cupid's scribe.
After all the love we've shared together
You can read the story
Written in my smile.

Some day the words,
They may come easy.
In the whisper of a gentle breeze.
Until then I live with the sin
Of the love poem my soul has kept hidden
Your love poem
The one,
That was never written.
