Cast your eyes to the glorious skies

Past the pain of the saddest good-byes

The Sun shines gold in outer space

Above the night, in darkest of place

Look up, Look up unto the Son

Who'll dry our tears, forgetting not one

Tho' yesterday's joys seem all passed and done

Take courage, in Him, for the victories won

Premium Member We Look Up To the Sky

When I look up at the dusky sky each night
see silver stars which are shining bright
moonbeams sparkle on the sea
I feel so carefree.
velvet blue
we
wave adieu
because soon I’ll see
the sun rising above me
until nightfall brings me pure delight
when I look up at the dusky sky each night

        DON’T LOOK UP

Humanity has become oblivious, ignorant to an inevitable lightening quick catastrophe,
Politicians and the rich and famous are known for their eccentric outrageous audacity,
Nobody has anything nice to say to anyone, anywhere, so totally unsatisfactory,
Each human being doing their own thing like ants, on a mission no more philanthropy.

Scientists work around the clock to save our planet Earth, animals and humanity,
Drugs consumed for fun, medication abused, both lowered humans’ immunity
A pandemic revolved around our globe, thus millions suffered and died, internationally
Scientist who study our galaxy, predict a life threatening event to happen imminently affecting us globally.

Don’t human beings realize that a comet might be coming to town and our planet will be extinct, dive
Into oblivion, the rich and famous will live, it is the poor, the hungry that Humanity will deprive,
The opulent and their money think they can extend their life, and thus forever and ever stay alive,
Build a rocket with capsules for themselves, animated in time, in which they stupidly hope to survive.

Wow, presume encapsulating oneself in time, a rocket in space comes true, and nobody fries,
Arising from the dead metaphorically in 20900 returning to earth, finding things have changed, surprise,
Surprise, no humans inhabit Planet Earth anymore, what will they meet, perhaps their demise,
The Chinese saying, may your wishes come true, actually a curse, hope you have said your goodbyes.

Look Up To the Sky

Look up to the sky
Look up in the sky and what do you see?
Is it an airplane flying by me?
Look up to the sky what do you see?
Is it the sun shinning down on me?
Look up to the sky what do you see.
The moon is smiling down on you.
Look up to the sky what do you see.
The rain coming down on you and me.
Don't look now to the sky for birds are above.
And you don't know what will come down.

Look Up

Hey children! Listen, I miss your zeal.
The world inside your mobile is surreal.
Look up!
See, I have fixed stronger glasses on my windows,
Get hold of your cricket kit, come back on the street,
I miss watching your games.
I won’t mind, smash all my window panes.

Hackneyed messages,
Dollops of unalloyed twaddle
Tides of trifling emotions!
Baby! You are locked inside your mobile.
Look up!
See, the stadium looks so barren!
Without your mischiefs and fun,
Your irritating jibber- jabber and nonstop run.
I won’t mind, come on burst my eardrum.

Your friends, your pictures, games, tweets and stories
You live in a fantasy world, that’s absolutely unsavoury.
Step back into this beautiful life, create beautiful memories.
Look up!
Don’t waste your time and energy.
Live for a cause, get up and push back your lethargy.
Open the notebook of your life,
Fill it with love, fame and prosperity.
No matter what! You shall thrive.
Don’t be a slave to mobile,
Life isn’t a game!
Dear! You have to survive, mobiles exists just to give a little respite!

lay me down in sun

Look Up

look up
chemtrails cloud the sun
and sky
watch the needles fall off
the pines in our backyard

Look Up In the Sky

Look up in the sky

Look I know we got off on the wrong foot,
But charge it to my head not my heart
I thought I saw an opportunity
So like cupid with his bow drawn, I shoot
With much apology and I do respect your
whole Ora.
You have much more to your diaspora
I read some strong kinetic vibes
Like when we were back in Kemet
See I know a Queen when I see one
I just want to spoil you
With other worldly lavish trinkets
I've got designs on loving you forever
So a man thinketh
So I'm here in my purpose
All we have is from this moment on
It's you who I chose
to build this destiny
See time keeps rolling on
I melt the ice
Quiet the storms
Sculpted mountains
Love was created for beings like you and I
Need proof, I give you the twilight sky
Those Stars visible or not
are up there, while you counting them
they counting on us
to join them and love on high
Infinite miles away people are hanging on our every word
A shooting star is a symbol of love deferred
Don't let down the galaxy
Look up in the sky and look up at our destiny
Once they fall they fall fast
Don't let this moment pass
Grab hold of my hand
and alas
we will make it to dance on the sun
And if we are not careful
another set of should be lovers
will be staring at the twilight sky at
what we have become.....

Lord, I Look Up To You

Lord I am in a bind, for I have fallen behind, I"m in trouble and don't know what to do, so Lord Jesus, I look up to you. Lord I grow weak and weary in need of rest, so I turn to you to take away my distress. People say do this, do that, but when I do there's always a catch.

Go here, go there, each time I do I end up no where. So what do you do when you don't know what? You keep running in circles and stay in a rut. Your friends turn their backs on you and that's a kick in the gut.

Bad thoughts running through my head, maybe I'm better off dead, I'm starting to see red. They say pick yourself up and get a grip, I'm trying everything I can not to flip, I pray to you Lord, don't let me slip.

Lord I need guidance, I feel so blue, so again, Lord Jesus I look up to you. I been through so much, but now my eyes have been opened because my heart you have touched and It don't matter what they say, I know I am a beautiful spirit because you made me this way.

Now doors are starting to open, faces are becoming new and I know Lord, I owe It all to You. For You are my Lord, All Knowing, Kind and True. This is why Lord Jesus, I Look Up To You.

Look Up

 English sonnet

I'm way down here, once more ensnared in pits of my own choice
because I picked that shovel up, my shovel of revolt.
Lord, did you hear me thrash about, unmindful of Your voice,
when I began to tunnel down, the tunnel of a dolt?

Like Jonah long ago, I plunged and trouble follows me.
While in the deep, I find myself quite paralyzed by screams.
But when the dream is done, thank God, your eyes have helped me see.
Once I awake, Your light exposes foolish, willful schemes.

If I'd not made the journey down to worry, guilt and doubt,
I could not see Your advent bright in rays of morning sun,
I would not know Your upward pull and what You're all about -
forgiveness, grace, a clear, straight path. My nights of mourning gone.

When debt and darkness, fear and flight detain me in their sway
I pause awhile to recognize - the Truth, the Light, the Way.

I Look Up To Her

She is four years younger,
But she is stronger.
She is mentally mature & knows how to speak her mind.
I look up to someone younger & smaller than I,
My little sister, Rachel, we have a special tie.
We are two sisters, in a world of hecticness.
She knows what she wants, she knows what she believes,
And she is determined.
I look up to her.
She works hard to achieve what she sets her mind to,
She doesn’t bend to the world’s ways - she doesn’t care much what is or isn’t ‘cool.’
She creates her own breeze, her own sun, she believes in Father, Spirit, Son.
She is my little sister - but I have so much to learn from her.
It is her confidence, and compassion, and strength,
That carry her to become her truest self.

Towering
As towers do
A monolithic mass
Fills the canvas and the room
Green glass mountains
Deep and dark and without reflection
Draw you in and your gaze

Up

To a thread of eclipsed sky
Where burning
In silhouette
Clings a raptor
To its man made crag

Look Up Into the Milky Way --- a Nonsensical Poem

Look up into the Milky Way
Streaming down the sky to the bay
Connected by sea to Skara Brae.
Do those ruins contain some clay?
On that faraway land, are there any dogs stray?
If I go there, will a beautiful girl be coming,
Serving me coffee with a splendid tray
On a sunny, refreshing day?
Will the girl be pretty enough to give me an impression
That strikes me as if with a fresh water spray?
Then, will I be filled with such deep emotion
That makes me shout, "Yay"?
Will I be stunned, having nothing to say?
Or will I start dancing as in ballet?

Let Look Up To God

People have no fear of who created them
              Fraud become their joy, when
                     Conscience lost

There action and inaction steal the
Joy of so many people, when conscience lost

                  Hatred is their pride
                      When love lost

                 Killing is what they boast
                      Of,when fear lost

                      Must we hate? NO
                      Must we kill? NO
                      Let look up to God
                      To save the world

Look Up Believers

Wake up
To a new day
Leave yesterday behind
Forget all about your troubles
And cares

Dress up
With confidence
Make sure you look the part
Your first impressions are always
The best

Shut up
When you need to
Remember old saying
It's two eyes and only one mouth
Have you

Stand up
So proud and tall
For what you believe in
Don't be swayed by other beliefs
Stand firm

Look up
And remember
That our God sees all things
Nothing at all can be hidden
From Him

Reach up
And grasp all that
Has been offered to you
It is yours for the taking
And now

Lift up
Your voice in praise
To God our Creator
For all that He has done for you
Praise Him
