Best Light Up Poems
You are the light of my world my precious son
filled my days with happiness and fun.
Always smiling, never blue
how quickly you grew.
Pure delight
you
shine so bright.
Strive in all you do
now, and for your whole life through.
Spread your wings and fly; my job is done.
You are the light of my world my precious son

Please answer this simple question
Why don't people learn their lesson
From the past hatred and violence
We need to put an end and silence
To the bullying we cause
Its on our hearts--mine and yours
Lets pull it out from the dark pit
where it used to be so lit
With love, kindness, understanding
Instead of the place we've been landing
On a road to self destruction
That could use some love construction
If we all opened our minds
It would be easy to find
There's so much we all can fix
One by one, and brick by brick
Making a wall to keep out
The brutal hatred that we shout
Using our hands instead of words
That can be painfully heard
Let's all keep our future safe
Giving us all a great place
To live in harmony and peace
Little by little we'll decrease
The bad sorrow that's been growing
Keeping a new love light glowing

"The essence of art is to recapture the fantasy and the imagination of a child again, but without the innocence of a child."
~Romare Bearden
she had been reaching for all the wrong stars
and told a dream would not take her far
she never allowed her imagination to let go of her hand
fear keeping her near on safe, familiar land
do not let your reverie off of the sidewalk
bundle up any whimsy and keep an eye on the clock
point your eyes straight ahead, keep your feet on the ground
there will be no fantasy visualization, nor glittering pink melodic sound
all of which she tried to obey, with self-discipline her fanciful tenancies allay
but her mind rebelled and took control of the wheel
steering her into a hallucination until she lost the real
one can be controlled, the other cannot
those who forced discipline, conveniently forgot
all art, great and small, comes from a mind
that's recklessly daydreaming most of the time
living in a fantasy land with magic, fairies, and such
creating the poetry, art ,and music we all love so much
the stars she had been reaching for were all wrong
for the light that she needed was inside all along

You light up my world
With wonders from your soul
Inspirations so alive and wise
They make me feel so moved
To believe and give and feel
All the joy the Lord has sent
You light up my world
With grace that soothes my angst
Music that sends laughter and tenderness
A sense of assurance that delights
With a gentle breath of pure insight
You light up my world
With faith that rises from the spirit
Sends chills that promise He is there
Alive in the prayers and the praise
Coloring the days in hues of hope
You light up my world
With reminders that God is alive
A fire that burns on the inside
Warming the heart, soul and mind
With dreams that brighten the sight
You light up my world
With assurance that God is amazing
A candle in the dark, a flicker of kindness
Sincerity, serenity and salvation
On the wings of truth and compassion
You light up my world
Free me from the sins that hide
All the beauty, humility and insight
Leave me feeling like I have been restored
To a heart that shines with true love
You light up my world
And I need to let you know
Without you in my life, like a star shining bright
There wouldn’t be nearly so much assurance
That I have the strength to face all my worries
Reach out to others with an open heart and soul
And listen to the promises found in God’s word!
Dear friend… You light up my world
And I love you more than I can reflect
With the kindness you shine into my heart and soul
Opening the door to give without conditions
Live without expectations and feel all God has given
With a heart that is full of praise and contentment!
God bless you always!

I sit and watch the clouds uncover the sky
It yawns awake, and I take in the light
As it kisses the sky
I let the beauty take my breath away
It reminds me of your love
And how you steal my heart, day by day
Like the sun, you light up my world
Now that I have loved you, my life meant nothing before
As easily as the moon and stars
Your love shines through the dark
Honey, you light up my world
I breath in the lullaby
As the morning wind glides on by
And the earth's first hello touches me so deeply I think I could cry
Just like a song playing
Through my heart for you and me
I thank God everyday
For you are his gift given to me time after time
With each morning's sweet rhyme.....

Romanticism
Like a rainbow is the promise for;
Never more
Never more God’s destruction of this earth by
Water
Never shall the floods cover
A star and planet tells of the story
Of the child whose glory’s present
And Star of David shines so bright
All consuming light
Shines so bright, proud star of Bethlehem
Proud Star of Bethlehem
Shine Bright Light up the World So We Can See Baby Jesus Tonight
And all the nations and Kings
Come forth all come to adorn Him
Jesus
Baby
Jesus
Savoir of the world
Baby Jesus Savoir of the World
Proud Star of Bethlehem Shine Bright
Light up the World So We Can See Baby Jesus Tonight
Like on the seventh day, God rested;
From all the work He had done
On the right side of the Father, stood Jesus
God said that He repented for He made man
(because He made man) for man has sin and…
He destroyed the world by seas and water
Never more God’s destruction of this earth by
Water
Never shall the floods cover
So does yes did man sin
Jesus said prepare me a body to go in
And I shall saved them from their sins
A star and planet tells of the story
Of the child whose glory’s present
And Star of David shines so bright
All consuming light
Shines so bright, proud star of Bethlehem
And all the nations and Kings
Come forth all come to adorn Him
Jesus
Baby
Jesus
Savoir of the world
Baby Jesus Savoir of the World
Proud Star of Bethlehem Shine
Bright Light up the World So We Can See Baby Jesus Tonight

Lyric
Hell found me like the stars light up the sky
Won't my hellish ways,
Ever die or fizzle out of this faze
No matter how hi I fly
It always ends up in a maze
Hold on tight with both hands
Let go of my hellish ways that seem to
Keep leading me astray
I must try to figure out why
This keeps happening to me
Every time I start to fly so high
I think it because when we live
On the darker side of life
We end up on that evil slide
Just hoping there is a bottom side
All too often we end up fried
Just hoping to get out of this slide
Wishing that we would have looked the other way
Because now I just want to curl up and die
Don't listen to this lie it's just
The devil and his hellish ways
Tell him you won't play his way today
May I stand my ground now that I have found
My lord and savior Jesus Chris
My brother who died on the cross for our sins
So that I can get rid of the hell that found me
Like the stars light up the sky
One not question or ask why
The son of God doesn't lie

Glimpses of light are what keep me fighting
through the pain of the dark,
Those capsules of time are what warm my heart,
Where the light conkers the night driving out the dark,
This stops me from falling apart.
Like shimmers of hope, the glistening stars are balls of light
that fight against the night,
Freckles puncturing the abyss despite
the blanket of the darkest eclipse,
The light of the stars push through
their glitz cannot be dismissed.
Day and night are like representations
of the darkness and light in our life,
Despite how much darkness may plague your life,
Just like the darkness of the nights sky
The moon is like a big bright balloon and bright the stars shimmer and shine
soon on the horizon the sun will burn through the darkness
as it slowly rise,
Dispersing the darkness of the night, just like the darkness that plagues your life,
The sun will rise with the brightest light.
Light will always shine through even on the darkest night you'll see a star or two,
No matter the pain or suffering you're experiencing look for those glimmers of hope, that's the light shimmering,
Those small speckles save me daily,
That's what pulls me through, look for those lights in your life and it will truly save you too.

The time delay
and the sun's gold...
secluded itself in the well of God.
If I could snipe a flame from this brightness!
I will lit a fire in the husks of sleep
and light up the night for lovers
after a thousand years.

Why pen, if just only is to be adored?
For just creating only poetry, ethereal and planetary?
We live on this earth, so beset with misdeeds.
Should a poet dare write of these, and be afraid of poor reads?
Fairy tales, and princes are indeed, in some of our dreams.
But we turn our backs on our country’s most wanted needs.
Like hunger, murder, or worse, making our children, into binaries.
Poetry is your chance, to be one of this world’s hopeful luminaries.

One person can light up a room.
I have seen it, and it is wonderful.
People can be sobbing, wailing, keening.
But one soul with the heart of joy
Can come in, and re-do everything in an instant.
People who did not want to feel a glimmer of joy
Are suddenly smiling through their tears.
It often happens during funerals when a grandma arrives.

These times do frighten us, so what to do?
It's up you to be upbeat and to negatives, do eschew.
I have brought out my small, white Christmas tree and lit it.
I just stared and marveled at the tree, as I did with joy sit.
I keep it on both day and night now, it glimmers so poetic.
The white tree with mulit- colored lights~delightfully epic.
The magic of sans-news makes my peaceful day.
As the fears that news creates in me, were magically allayed.
I amusingly, fancied myself, a seer of sorts!
Till I heard Wisconsin suggested people put Christmas lights on their house!
(Ah, better than Packer sports.)
This is our time to appreciate and love one another.
Face to face contact, in real time, cannot by the Internet be smothered!
This, too, shall pass as it is written.
The Corona Virus hardly will do mankind in, though some will be smitten.
Remember the numbers never tell the co-morbidity rates.
Just follow directions, pray to God, that he provides you a good fate.
To those of us in isolation, this is no time to mope.
Rise up poet, think of others like you, and revel in hope!
With my love and support!
