You light up my world
With wonders from your soul
Inspirations so alive and wise
They make me feel so moved
To believe and give and feel
All the joy the Lord has sent

You light up my world
With grace that soothes my angst
Music that sends laughter and tenderness
A sense of assurance that delights
With a gentle breath of pure insight

You light up my world
With faith that rises from the spirit
Sends chills that promise He is there
Alive in the prayers and the praise
Coloring the days in hues of hope

You light up my world
With reminders that God is alive
A fire that burns on the inside
Warming the heart, soul and mind
With dreams that brighten the sight

You light up my world
With assurance that God is amazing
A candle in the dark, a flicker of kindness
Sincerity, serenity and salvation
On the wings of truth and compassion

You light up my world
Free me from the sins that hide
All the beauty, humility and insight
Leave me feeling like I have been restored
To a heart that shines with true love

You light up my world
And I need to let you know
Without you in my life, like a star shining bright
There wouldn’t be nearly so much assurance
That I have the strength to face all my worries
Reach out to others with an open heart and soul
And listen to the promises found in God’s word!

Dear friend… You light up my world
And I love you more than I can reflect
With the kindness you shine into my heart and soul
Opening the door to give without conditions
Live without expectations and feel all God has given
With a heart that is full of praise and contentment!
