Best Letter Of The Alphabet Poems
(ALLITERATION)
Cows milked: mitigated mooing in the meadows then
Weaving on the warp, some workaholic women
Harvest of hapless halibuts on hooks
Bookish book-worms buried in books
A palomino and a pony patter on the paving
Hucksters and hawkers hawking every housing.
Ravers out on the razzle raising a raucous razz-ma-tazz
Beavers busy building beaver-dams but about it quite blasé.
Doves cooing in divine chorus
Frogs frisking out of focus
Horoscopes are hocus pocus.
Tidal waves of tsunami treacherously tread
Sea-anemones scattered upon the sea-bed.
Geraniums genuflecting in jungle-like gardens
Hunters wary of wandering wild-life wardens.
All this when I ventured about videotaping
Nature's much nicer even with no landscaping
These are direly different scenes from different parts of the globe
Perhaps like a space probe's kaleidoscopic poetic probe
( this poem has every letter of the alphabet except x)
as brave strong smart
kind long-haired
comfortable unhappy creative
warm encouraging inspiring
memorable
who writes with abandon
lives with abandon
and no plans
late is on time and schedules -- ha!
the nerve of suggesting I'm
the one who is crazy
call me every letter of the alphabet
I'll give you a word for each
one and count the freckles
like stars
on children's faces
and wish each
one were my
child freckle alphabet
soupy sky with clouds and
it's raining hard today.
Did not our summer fly by fast?
Eventually, we knew she'd go,
Forgetting to remake her blooms;
Green grasses dried to ashen glow.
How happy was the month of May,
Inviting hopes for summer fun.
Just in a blink her days went by
Kidnapped by June's much closer sun.
Left to the magic of June's spell,
More beautiful the season grew.
No other time of year compares...
Oasis of our year, so true.
Pastels of flowers, velvet greens
Quick to mature through July days;
Refining fullness, but alas,
Surrendering to August's phase.
Then soon, her days too quickly flew
Unveiling thoughts of autumn's glow
Vowed to progress to winter's gray.
Where did our short-lived summer go?

Poetry form: Alliteration - Each poem in my Alliterative Alphabet Series describes conversations between two or more people while only using words that start with or sound like the first letter of the title of the poem. I’m publishing the poems as I write them on Wattpad.com, not necessarily in alphabetical order. My goal is to write at least 26 poems to cover each letter of the alphabet. I hope you find the concept interesting, maybe even clever. Most of all I hope you enjoy them :)
Disclaimer: This poem is fictional and does not depict any actual person or event. The names used are ficticious and were chosen to satisfy the requirements of the poetry form.

A- My Letter- Aye
Why- Y? No- A
This first letter of the Alphabet
Seems so simple, yet so complex
Explains my brains, history and mystery
Some makes sense, same profound, some slippery,
some confused and, At times blistery
A- My name. Aquarius – my sign, no shame
I live in Awe of Antiquity – add a small Army to my Acclaim
I claim no fame- just the American way.
Awe in so many things- simple praise to the “A”-
May I start with Ale and Apes- not together mind you
Ale was my way- red or blonde- I'd pack it away
Apes were my salvation from Ale- to Ax my Aloof decay-
Animals became my Attraction
my Abstract Ambition to Ardent – AGAPE-
Alumni to personal escape-
Ankh was a chosen forever symbol for Avenging Ambition
Of Allegiance and Appreciation
An Absentminded Argument for my own Awe
Defending it was a guffaw.
A stronghold of an Ablazed Angels Amour-
Belief's Anchored Ardor.
Art Aspired from hundred of Acres of Aquatic life
Appreciated by husband and wife
Acoustic strings ring in the night
Alight passions of two Aquarians hearts, desire
and playful sprites.
Haters ain't built like me, I'm a G
That's a letter of the alphabet you can't be
Vissionaires do it, pessimists blew it
Quit wasting time, let's get back to it
You should go vegan, don't want no beef
You're swimming with sharks, by a coral reef
Big dog, running the hood, like an engine
Full plate, I'm eating too much, binging
In charge, call me the producer, I run the set
Pull triggers, don't work-out, hate to sweat
You better not push me, I'm on the edge
I fall, raise the heat, that's my pledge
Militant, call me out, I'll be there
In this deadly game, I'm the nightmare
I give you my word, search, I'ma' find you
When I raise that fire, hope I don't blind you
I'm dead fresh, like I had life but lost it
Get money like the bank, blow it and floss it
Stay in my own lane, I'm a safe driver
Always in wet coochie', call me a scuba-diver
Party, 'n' throw it up, like gang signs
I'm a G, you're a square, like four-straight-lines
I'm built tough, you're chicken crap, tender
Just sunk your battle-ship, time to surrender

Poetry notes:
Poetry form: ABC - In this instance, a poem in which every word begins with a successive letter of the alphabet. The first word begins with A, the second with B, etc.
METRO BOULOT DODO - GOING HOME AFTER WORK
Bobo going home to a clown
Cocoa going home for a drink
espresso going home for coffee
Fallow going to a field of grass
Gogo going to a dance club
Hoho santa going home
Idaho going for some potatoes
Jeronimo going to his tepee
Kyoto going home to Japan
Llandudno going back to Wales
Mow mow going to cut down a meadow
Nono going home without sex
Ohio going to Cleveland
Popo going to the Vatican
Quito going to Ecuador
Rolo going to eat chocolate
So so going to feel better soon
Tokyo going to the capital
Umberto going to meet an Italian
Volvo going to drive a great car
Wallow going to soak in the mud
Xoxo going to play tictacdoe
Yoyo going to play with spinning toys
Zozo going to to sleep a little
……………………………………………………………………………………………….
Note……...the title is a common French saying which suggests the repetitive nature of life. I have done an extra ( witty?) item for each letter of the alphabet to suggest different forms of “repetitiveness”. Each line is intended to be said aloud, thus for example “Metro boulot Quito” or “Metro Boulot Volvo”. My kids, when young, enjoyed this kind of word-play based on wit and humor. I still enjoy it.
Haters ain't built like me, I'm a G
That's a letter of the alphabet you can't be
Vissionaires do it, pessimists blew it
Quit wasting time, let's get back to it
I'm so gutter, like the side of the road
Feeling froggy, leap, I'ma' call you a toad
I'm a big dog, you're a new-born pup
Like a scared ostrich, I don't do head-up
Get jumped, like a dead car's battery
You're sweet, get taken out like a cavity
It's my time to eat, won't be left-overs
I'm swift, you're sluggish, so move over
I get it in like a smuggler
Chicks love playing with my balls, like a juggler
I'm a body-builder, you're obese, you ain't built like me
So high, get on my level, you ain't on stilts like me
I don't see you haters, take off my blind-fold
Built like a brick, this G just won't fold
I'm on the come-up...sunrise
What I do next is a mystery surprise
You're below me, don't get stepped-on
I'm known to go Beast-mode like King-Kong
Can't escape, you can run, duck, or hide
Dead-end, it's the end of your ride
"Expect great things; do great things" is a quote I once heard.
X, the 24th letter of the alphabet, is often used to designate a person.
Commitment, dedication, endurance are required to achieve the exception.
Excellence, erect with heads up, seeks neither excuses nor sub-par outcomes.
Preparation has no rival but is demanded; and it drives us if fulfillment is our goal.
Timing is beyond our control, but if readiness doesn't embrace us, we handicap 'timing'.
Idleness, I was taught, is the devil's workshop, and there is no substitute for hard work.
Only starters ever finish, ever win, or ever benefit from losing, but none starters can never win.
Night is as real and necessary as is the day, and as with all things, mankind must learn to adjust.
Anticipation of desired ends and outcomes must be ever nourished in order to avoid capitulation.
Love of ease, love of greed, an unhealthy love of self, and a superior attitude kill exceptionalism.
If it is true that America is great because America is good, may Goodness and Mercy follow her.
Surrendering to modernistic philosophies and godless agendas will render the wreck and the ruin.
May integrity and God's love embrace us like a blanket, causing us to be the world's light and salt.

X Marks the Spot
It’s the 19th consonant, 24th letter, of the alphabet,
A Teachers’ markings, for wrong answers on a test!
A Greek numeral representation for, the number ten!
An unnamed or unknown, person, place or thing,
Used to remove or cancel, a word of unnecessary need,
A movie rating to discourage viewing, by unsuspecting teens!
It’s an algebraic exponent used in mathematical computations,
A place holder in the PEMDAS test, to eliminate confusion!
A pictured symbol for the word “cross,”
Ballot markings “yea or nay” or “win or loss!”
Signature representation of ones’ individual best
Letter ending expression, sealed with a Hug and a Kiss!
XOXOXO

Existence of the 8 track as I recall, was of short duration
X is a letter of the alphabet seldom used to begin a word
Telephone booths have gone the way of the dinosaurs
Internet technology has greatly altered the face real romance
Need I say that the landline telephone has been replaced by cell phones?
Currency as a medium of exchange still exists but is slowly dying
Transactions via the internet have become the preferred mode of operation
In spite of “high Tech explosion”, don’t forget to read, write, and do math
Ocean waves and winds can still wreak havoc and are not likely to change
Never give up on the past, because some dead things might be resurrected
12302015 (PS Contest on the theme of “Extinction”)
I am so expensive
I am very hard to grow
I am grown in Madagascar
that is faraway I know
I am used in sweet and savoury
I am pure, spicy, delicate too
with a peculiar bouquet
Have I given enough clues?.
What am I?
My first is a commercial vehicle of the white kind
My second says that i am sick
My third is a portion of the French expression, OOH la la
My fourth is the name for the water found at the beach
My fifth is the 4th letter of the alphabet
The answer is
Vanilla Seed
Let me paint the picture
Of your visage
And I will frame it in my mind
Let me write your name
With a strand of poison grass
On a crack sea shell
That no one but you
Will be able to erase
The last letter of the alphabet
Under the point of my pen
It’s your love that I want to write
Singer had once sings it
Poet had once express it
But let me tell the story
That...
...there was a time
Me and you was once in love
