Lending your air when I need to breathe
Becoming my heart when I need to feel
Being there each time when I miss a beat.
In your gratifying image I retain my own
For your friendship is all I've even known,
Residing there, leaning on you frequently
Making your home my place of sanctuary.
Trusting your navigation I steer my life
Relying readily on your calming advice,
Traversing your roads to take me there
Where you and I haven't been together.
Happily you treat me like I'm a queen-bee
Holding a reservoir of hive full of honey.
Yet, you don't wish to partake in sampling
Afraid that it might ruin our friendship.
Heart you lent me yearns for your love,
Smile you gave me aches for your touch.
No point denying the message they send,
Wishing we were more than just friends.

your stone cold hands hold me tightly as i cling to you and shut my eyes
we claim our passion for each other but you know nothing of me as do i of you
you keep confusing me everyday wondering if you want me today or not
or you act as if im nonexistant
but i still catch your eyes following my direction
and then youll text me
taunting me with your tongue
like im an angel and youre a demon guiding me to hell
im a fool to give in but i do everytime
i just wish youd come up to heaven once in a while too
you say we shouldnt be so sensual but we speak words far past those boundries

Please may I have this slow waltz, he shyly asked.
She watched his comely face, his elegant stance.
She blushed, she felt elated, accepted fast,
And hoped that this meeting was not just one chance.
They danced around the room, a three step slow dance.
Yet he did not hold her tight and close to him.
Still she felt the music and swirled in a trance,
The love in her eyes filled with tears to the brim.
This waltz would be great and could last for ever.
Oh how she wished to feel him closer to her,
That they would never end dancing, oh never.
He held aloof, like a cat he sensed her purr.
The dance soon ended. It's tango next, she said.
Sorry, the tango's special, I can't agree.
Her poor heart fluttered and eager love just bled.
“We'll always be friends,” but she’ll wait for him.
It's funny in a way cause even the way I look
at you has nothing to do with being friends
the way I hug you is a little bit suggestive
and even the way I talk to you
Is different the way I do with Just friends
Even the way I breath around you
is a little weird
Even the way I smile
around you is extra l
Happier than any friend could make me

Even the way I smell the air
Is much more pleasant
when you are near
So how can I manage
To change my ways
and become Just Friends
