Are We Just Friends

Are we just friends?

We're just friends?

I met you on a sunny day
So beautiful, my life did change
You said you "like my happy smile"
I would die for you, my life I'd exchange

So, you tell me all your problems
and I listen so attentively
I try to figure out the causes
and then you tell me graciously

Chorus

I'm so glad you're my friend
Just where would I be?
without you right here
you're my best friend
Is that all there is?
No true love for me?
How come you can't see?
we're more than friends!
but we're just friends!

I see the way you look at him
and your heart, it just keeps skipping beats
Why don't you look at me that way?
Can't you see I'm falling at your feet?

Chorus repeat

You used to talk to me all day
but, now it seems like somethings changed
You don't seem to have the time
my life's completely rearranged

Chorus repeat

Now you're planning your big day
and you call and say you want me there
Wouldn't be the same without me
So, I'll pretend that I don't really care

I say...

Chorus repeat

You're good friends until she runs off, then you're not. It sounds like the blues. :)
