Premium Member Should I Not Be Found Alive

Sty all your bodied waters
And libelous pretensions.
Hang leather headed juries
Beside some tethered eddies.

Drown me down
In new baptismal rivers.
Spread eagle me upon
Some granite black outcroppings.

And let my liver ribbon
From beaks of shadowed ravens.
Let my thigh bones
Fossil on the rocks.

Should I be buried under
When cliffs calf shuddered thunders,
No words of prayer be spoken
Just leave and let me be.

You spoke a new language
  of rarefied air
  guided nonchalantly
  through curving channels of brass

Conduits of cool
  juries of jazz
  floating past soulful valves
  harbingers of what will come

Slender fingers
  improvising storylines
  magistrates of melancholy
  bailiffs of bop

Miles from the mainstream
  a milestone of
  modern modalities
  kind of blue

Misjudged

Standing still head's up
Retrospect greatest pitfalls
Mass consciousness whim

Wandering till dawn
Waiting brave for the result
Less breathe heartless beat

Until the mind soar
Now is inexplicable
Sufferings indeed

People grim anew
For the best of all Juries
Render canny nod

Continue service
Captivating voter's wit
Last laugh never ends.

Premium Member Don'T Blame the Cops

'Reverends' Sharpton and Jackson are the leading Fomenters In Chief,
And as usual are spewing racial nonsense, adding to the nation's grief.
It would certainly be novel if they would find more productive things to do,
Like preaching God's love, peace and tolerance to people in their pew!

Most cops take their jobs seriously and perform dedicated service.
Alas, some are outright bullies and they should make us nervous.
But they must take appropriate action when faced with those,
Who think the rules don't apply to them and I think that is apropos.

True, 'tis so sad that two young men lost their lives the other day.
If they hadn't resisted the cops, it wouldn't have turned out that way .
What is to be gained by looting and rioting if things don't go your way,
Robbing innocent shop owners and me as well since its taxes I must pay!

If youth were disciplined and taught respect for authority at Mothers' knee,
Perhaps they'd save themselves a ton of grief and I'd hope you would agree.
Two Grand Juries held cops blameless tho' their ruling many folks reject.
I come down on the side of the cops who I was always taught to respect!

THE GREAT AMERICAN RACIST
I stand my ground and white is what is me
as fair a man as there could ever be
I'll not apologize to anyone
for what the world's dependent on
but love my own, for that's the way I see.

Excuses come from those who ever fail
or educated by their time in jail
and racist it may be
but it's the side of me
who stands by justice, in its final wail;

the die's been cast; and juries set the stage
and let out are the crazies from their cage;
while whites proclaim all guilt from high
and blacks can only live the lie
expecting things to change because of rage;

whose knife has cut the thread that's meant to bind
depriving all the love there is to find?
the greatest tragedy of all
is when our backs are to the wall
that's when our hate clouds every mind.

the ending won't reveal, the truth we find.

My Singing Star

MY SINGING STAR

Annual days in our University existed before too, only in annals,
Until the day, she on the ramp thrilled our hearts that came to the ears;
We had ‘Abbey Road on the River’; we lived in our souls and became ears,
That heard the first time ‘unheard melodies’ reverberating through Lit annals.

The Nightingale of India would’ve left her oriole and put her in musical panels;
The roaring Moor would’ve left Desdemona to live, riveting his ears for years,
The brooding Ruth would’ve left her diffidence to dance sprightly for years,
To the thrill of her voice, sounding end to sittings of juries, forever in annals.

She could’ve sung ‘they’re gonna make a big star out of me,’
But, that would’ve rivaled the great Beatles; she could’ve her ‘Jai Ho’
That would’ve made Mozart of Madras again dedicate glory to Him.

Lyrics she required not, for, it’s in the listeners’ glee;
Lyres she required not, her voice throbs humans in harmony, robbing ego;
Life is un-lived, if you have no ears for my singing star, not even Him.

The Man With Two Heads

There once was a man with two heads
Of letters and science well read
By the light of the moon
He could make juries swoon
Spinning truth so fast their ears bled!

Scary Monsters

Luminescent shadows follow me around, but vanish as I ask who’s there?
Scary monsters and super creeps wait on every corner; a voice whispers beware
I start running I’m trying to gather pace; I’m running faster and faster but I hardly move
The faster I run the slower the cadence becomes; asks the whisper what do you have to prove?

Am I running from monsters past or ghosts hiding in the future?
I turn my head frantically to listen; the whisper is faint in the viscous ether
My pillow absorbs my drenching sweat, my legs kick and run, no stable ground
Frightened heartbeats, timid murmurs beg for reprieve, no more whisper, I can’t hear the gentle sound

Images changing proportions, gravitation bending scary faces
Electromagnetic transformations, shadows form a gigantic ghost
No awakening, remain in your abyss, where is the whisper I need most
My consciousness is chained by subconscious spectres; confront the phantom, the chains do not break
Oh gentle whisper cut me loose, help me to these images forsake

Collisions, particles bombarding subliminal pores, expose my soul to ricochets of guilt, conflict, pain
Prescribed orbits, predetermined order or tangents of love and desire
What to do, whisper to me, I am become insane

I spiral down into depths unknown to conscious science
More scary monsters, more super creeps, more shadows changing hue
Awake from this abysmal torture, send a whisper, bring me back to you
Sticky ghouls and distant memories collide with alpha particles and gamma rays
Chromatic aberrations confuse my vision and distort awaiting silhouettes
I too collide, I too am distorted as I enter the chasm where the mind forgets

Subatomic beings coagulate as memories; juries of demons saturate gaseous mixtures
Bubbles and froth and osmotic spirits, hallucinations from black and white pictures
Parallel curves and helical lines bend and warp my mind, I cry I scream I want I need, break free!
No space no time no light no sound no love; guilty condemnation, empty reality

The central singularity beckons, no return from unconscious waste
Anonymous fields bind me, commanding struggle to abate
Dimensionless objects, cold physics, primordial fear; Nightmare, no reprieve, take me to my fate.

Who the hell rings bells anymore
whether in a Capitalist society, a Theocracy, an Oligarchy,
or a Dictatorship

the DING has sure been taken out of the
	rama dama ding dong

No ones home, the juries out
	G-d is dead?
	Shell, Chevron and Texaco
have reduced the life expectancy of people in the Niger delta
		to 50 years ......

The Oil companies are fracking the hell
out of the water table ....from here to Canada and back
and guess what..then they can up the price of
BOTH oil and FRESH? water??

Who are the bell ringers [Ask Jessica Ernst how the water is in her well?]
Where are the bell ringers [hmmm, Canada?]
[Strangled in the nooses of corrupt governments]

DO say! Do doubt! Do think....

Take a whistle blower home for dinner!

Blinded by the stars [lulled into limbo by Flamingo dancers]
	 living vicariously ..voyeurs
peeping through the key holes of ****-holes
Pull yourselves UP..OUT, declare COMMIT
	re-remember what it means
to have YOUR WORD mean something
re-remember what it means to be a friend.

Free yourself, for no one else will.
Fallacies RING true to the disempowered
there DONGs removed, their clappers plucked

Sex, drugs and Rock and Roll was the mantra

Premium Member True Justice

The 'Golden Rule' is an eternal principle for all mankind.*

Righteousness cannot exist without the presence of justice**

Universal fairness and respect are required for human coexistence

Evil expresses itself in the form of power hunger for control of others.

Juries are often utilized to render justice to individual citizens

Unjust judges and the entire justice system can be an evil stench

Statutory laws can be designed and passed for purposes of 'the select'

Tolerance must exist for the weak, the aged, the handicapped, and the poor

Independence that excludes, breeds corruption and disunity among men

Communities become strong by bonds of equality, unity, and understanding

Equality under the law is the least any society should require of its existence

Jesus, Matthew 7:12 NIV
** “Let justice roll down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream.” Martin Luther King Jr., Letter from the Birmingham ; 4P

The Bill of Rights, Part Ii

No illegal search and seizure
Says amendment Number Four
Probable cause necessary
Before we break down your door.
The warrant spells out what they search,
Describing things they will seize.
So hide them where you know they won’t
Go to the judge, and say, “Please.”

Number Five’s an uncommon gem
It says we won’t take your life
Without due process of the law,
Or by talking to your wife.
Testimony from yourself, and
Oh, yeah, double jeopardy,
Will never be responsible
For removing liberty.

We will not take your property
For a bridge or a highway.
Not without compensating you
But, please, stay out of the way.
We’ll never pay you what it’s worth,
Nor what the market will bear.
We shall pay you what we think’s right
And so what if it’s not fair?

So now we come to Number Six:
Speedy trial for you and me.
Impartial juries we will have
‘Less the press first runs the story.
We will inform you of the crime
They think you have committed.
And let you confront eyewitness
And a lawyer, not dim witted.

So here we are, now at Seven,
But this one’s kind of dicey.
It’s about the common law,
And the cost of controversy.
The courts have set some precedents
From the beginning to this year
So put this one from your mind, but
Don’t let lawyers know your fear.

Punishment cruel, or excessive
Is listed in Number Eight.
High bails and fines not imposed
Except in a crime of hate.
This allows a sentence of death
When combined with Number Five.
So, while stoning is a no, no.
Injection can take your life.

The rights for you, herein displayed
Shall not be the only item.
Number Nine says it right clear
Other rights are not denied ‘em.
This simply means, to you and me,
We’re somewhat free, to a point.
Beware of our society
For they say no to that joint.

This now brings us to Number Ten
About powers left on the rack.
If it’s not stated by this doc
States, and people, take up the slack.
The constitution delegates
Power to the three branches.
But if they overstep these bounds
Beware election chances.

Nate-- You know why. I'm an operator, not a solider. I can't fight.
Agent-- O.K. little bro... When is takeoff?
Nate-- In five...

Police Me Not

Police Me Not

Written By: D. Collins 12/3/14

Thanks to Rodney, Trayvon, Eric, and Michael Brown.
The world has a glimpse of how policing goes down.
They shoot-to-kill, or strangle a man to death.
Stand over a body until it’s dying breath.

They’ve blown up babies sleeping in their crib.
Killed a homeless man sleeping in the hills.
They were decent people who were sacrificed.
So that the world could see, paid with their life.

Like the twelve year old shot down in Cleveland.
All black men should know its now open season.
Each cop involved didn’t do a day in jail.
I wonder if Grand Juries are now the Holy Grail.

Police me not, if this is how it is.
Avoiding their presence is how we’ll continue to live.
They have bad intensions when the block gets hot.
Just the same, I’d rather they police me not.

Cookies, Milk, Monkey Bars and Guns

COOKIES, MILK, MONKEY BARS AND GUNS

WE HELPED LAY THE FOUNDATION FOR THEIR FACTORIES
THE FOUGHT WITH ENMITY AGAINST THEIR ENEMIES
WE RODE RAILS TO ANOTHER PRISTINE CITY OR TOWN
AND NOW, THANKS TO OUR POLLUTION THE RIVERS ARE BURNT SIENNA BROWN

WE POPULATED YOUR CITIES WITH CHILDREN YOU COULD NOT FEED
SO WE FED THEM WITH NUTRITION AND RAILED AGAINST GREED
WE FILLED THE SCHOOLS WITH CHILDREN AND PLAY TIME PHUN
BUT TOO MANY YOUNGSTERS ARE PACKING A GUN

THEY LISTEN TO SONGS SUNG BACKWARDS FOR A HINT OR A CLUE
AS PROSECUTORS AND JURIES WONDER WHY THEY DO WHAT THEY DO
THEY DO WHAT THEY DO BECAUSE RACISM AND HATRED PREVAIL
AND NOT ONLY THEM BUT MOST ALL OF US ARE DOOMED TO FAIL

FOR ALL OF US WITH CERTAINTY WILL CERTAINLY FALL
BECAUSE SO MANY OF US WON'T STAND UP STALWART, STRONG AND TALL
THEN MILLIONS OF STUDENTS FLOOD THE STREETS WHEN THEY HEAR THE DISMISSAL BELL
AS US USELESS AND BLIND ADULTS SET AN OPEN COURSE DESTINED STRIGHT TO HELL
