Hickory, dickory, dock.
Jerry the mouse ran up the clock
Tom smelled him from afar
Jumped up on top like a star.

Jerry as always was quite wise.
And with a rod struck Tom’s eyes.
The cat fell nastily on the clock
And received a decisive knock.

But alas the clock fell to the ground.
Mammy Two Shoes with a broom chased Tom around.
Jerry slinked into the kitchen for cheese
Cheddar, mozzarella, stilton and more of these.

But Mammy Two Shoes mad at Tom’s disaster fling,
With a broom chased him to make him sing.
Then threw him in the garden quite dark,
Let Spike bully dog ran after him with a bark.

The laughter and joy

This man did imbue us

Is vast beyond measure,

Our Dear Jerry Lewis ...

Oh, hearken the birds

Their new song of sorrow

For now we know why

Sol goes dark tomorrow.

Eleanor Rigby

Lost her 1st Born Son and Husband

To World War 2

She then dedicated her life to the Church

Overcome by grief and loss

She became a Nun

To seek solace and relief

She searched for her answers in God

And placed her faith in religion

Lives in a dream

Masking a face of bereavement

Like all the other lonely people

Picking up rice pretending to smile
in a face she keeps inside a
message in an old milk bottle
that reminds her of Maternal weaning

Destined to die alone

Until Father Lennon McCartney eventually reads her obituary

At her funeral in Strawberry Field's
where no 1 will come

Back to the dirt from whence she came

To rejoin her family again

Rejoicing

War is Over

God's Vestal Angel

Eleanor is Saved

In song we remember

Eleanor Liver Beatle

You'll Never Walk Alone

Tom and Jerry

Tom is a cat
And is big enough to hold a bat

Jerry is a mouse
It lives in a hole house

Jerry is so clever
He knows how to use his lever

When Tom sets a trap
He leaves a gap

 When Tom takes a nap
 Jerry sets a trap

Tom falls in it
but I think it is the end of his wit

He always makes up and never shares his cup
The chase begins and both never give up

Tom chases Jerry
Jerry is not very merry

They are just cartoons
And they teach us not to use harpoons

They always give us fun
And show they have energy in ton

Tom and Jerry

She sits upon the washing machine
The vibration turns her on
Now everything in the house is clean
and her bad mood has gone
I hug her very tightly
She gives me that sexy smile
Holding Tom and Jerry's and in her nightie
We just might be gone for quite a while .

Tom and Jerry

Little creature would creep,
and make Tom honestly weep,
Bright ideas the cat would design,
With a fail always, gears up to redefine,

We could sit through the whole night,
and giggle over their silly fight,
Trying to catch the clever mouse,
and win confidence of lady of the house,

Tom would plan and lay the trap,
as Jerry brilliantly discovers to unwrap,
She would fall into her own dug ditch,
and witty mouse merrily sings at a pitch,

Year after years, still unable to resist,
these funny comics are on top of my list !

The Jerry Springer Show

About this show,
My girls are amused,
Interrupting my sports,
Intruding my news,
To the television,
Their eyes are glued,
Ignoring mom cries,
Snacks or food,
So a series,
I just viewed,
And I thought it was,
Oh so rude,
On a talk show,
Girls fighting half nude,
I found it unpalatable,
I found it lewd..

Jerry was running from Tom
The day it all went down
A mouse had the upper hand
And one cat wore a frown

On a quest with his mallet
As good as being in dark
That mouse was hard to get
Evading without one mark

Things were good for Jerry
He could always run away
Tom did what he always did
Plan for yet another day

Tom and Jerry

Let's play a game of cat and mouse chase.
Like in the cartoon, life is Jerry the mouse.
Life hides from Tom the cat, which is the cruel world.

Tom always tries to chase Jerry but Jerry is too quick
for him. That is how life is. The world chases afte life.

At times, Jerry tries to wake up Tom and let him chase him.
He does all sort of crazy things to wake him up and chase him;
playing tricks on him. After Tom wakes up, Jerry hurries into
safety; his tiny mouse hole.

This is how my world is. It is an evil catlike word that hisses at
me all the time. I run, like Jerry, into safety, which is life.
It might not be the best mouse hole, but it is life.

I wish I were like Jerr; always running away from my cruel world
of suffering and pain, and find safety in some hole in my Soul.
But I need to stop chasing my cruel world and let it sleep;
be aware and have a plan when it wakes up.

Tom and Jerry

I heard a rustle in the undergrowth
felt thunder in the ground,
my eyes fixed on the corner
as the monster came around.

As far as I could see
he was heading my way,
I hope he hasn't seen me
or this could be my last day.

I got back home but I could see
he's heading for my house,
and then I laughed,it's just a cat
but forgot that I'm a mouse.

Tom and Jerry

          Tom
A shy, hapless cat, often lazy and calm
Defeated with his own tricks by Jerry
Poor Tom seems more fit as a fairy...

          Jerry
A spunky, sly mouse, alert, never wary
Awaiting his frenemy, Tom, he will scheme
Yet taunting each other makes them the best team!

Jerry
Comedian rarely contrary.
Among his wacky friends, the voice of reason.
Still he got tossed in jail with them in their final season

Elaine
Confident and vain, she could be a pain.
Although Jerry's ex, she remained his friend,
along with George and kooky Kramer, till the very end.

Premium Member Ode To Jerry: 1930-1952

One of the greatest pals that I have ever had,
Was a high school buddy and fellow grad!
He was renowned as the notorious class clown,
And his antics evoked from educators many a frown!

We had so many great times around Hagerstown!
'Twas hard to keep our youthful exuberance down,
As we raced up and down those tranquil streets,
Eluding frustrated cops on their nightly beats!

Often we double-dated with our sweethearts,
In my old '37 Ford that ran in fits and starts!
But our girlie friends didn't seem to mind,
As we cruised about with our arms entwined!

Upon graduation, in the Air Force I enlisted.
I asked him to enlist with me, but no he insisted!
In just a few years after we had parted,
The terrible conflict in Korea was started!

He answered the summons of his nation,
As others before him had met that obligation.
Mournful "Taps" was played over a hero's grave,
Alas, this time for beloved Jerry so gallant and brave!
