Notes About The Poem

Rip Jerry Lewis

The laughter and joy

This man did imbue us

Is vast beyond measure,

Our Dear Jerry Lewis ...

Oh, hearken the birds

Their new song of sorrow

For now we know why

Sol goes dark tomorrow.

Thank you, Russel, that's very kind of you, My Friend ... he brought a lot of joy and healing to this world. He was far from perfect, but he worked hard to make this world a better place. Very sad to lose him. Blessings to you!

gosh, I don't listen to the news much. Did he just die very recently? He stayed around by doing so much good with his telethons. They don't make them like his kind any more. Great tribute!
