Best Irrelevance Poems

Premium Member Dusk

Melting sorrows drift toward tomorrow
when sounds dance in hushed irrelevance.
Sacred seconds are held in creation's tawny yolk
as crystal waves of wind bid farewell to this day's fate.

A single dove darts through cinnamon plumes
in one last dance through heavens gate.
With ageless dreams bathed in honey gold
it wings its way in graceful sway.

How fleeting life might slip from sight
when passion yearns for its beholder.
Reminders linger in the dusk
of mysteries lost and treasures plundered.

I stand this post as infinity spills across the sky
and wonder fills the trueness of my heart...

Love neither gives or takes but from itself.
Be not wiled by fantasies of arrogance.
Take no more than is offered by yourself.
Leave nothing trapped in tortured irrelevance.

Seek not a barter for desires that sue your heart.
Worthiness is the only tender that comes due.
Suffer willingly the melody of pain it may impart.
Bleed joyfully from the wounds that will ensue.

As tree branches lift their hopes towards Heaven's door,
hands together reaching higher than alone will seek
heights that love's imagination most beautifully implores
that from a poets words unending ecstasy must speak.

Whatever you desire your life to be,
may loves reflection be all you see

Premium Member Majestic Friendship

We monthly meet
To pray and eat
Once children, small
Now several feet

Some rich, some poor
It matters not
Irrelevance of
What we've got

In worldly stuff
Our wealth not mired
My comrade content
Is love inspired

At table share
Our lives in full
Our seasons vibrant
Sometimes just dull

To glasses raise
These humans dear
My heart is full
So glad you're here

As life unfolds
Both up and down
This friendship king
Has earned it's crown

The farther we move the closer we get,
The distance between is a measure of love,
Bad memories of the past, you two forget,
New memories to create from here and now!

The mind was glued to things of irrelevance,
The office work and petty human politics,
The lockdown has been of great benevolence,
Cementing of love and elimination of conflicts.

The dark tunnel called the civilised world,
Was blinded with gimmick that were never needed,
So harsh in our words, in relationships cold,
Words of reason and wisdom went unheeded!

In the tormenting floods of viral disease,
Breathless, drowning, dying, many survived,
May the education remain when flood recedes,
In light of experience, let good values be revived.

In times like these your wisdom is your angel,
Guiding you past the rough terrains of fate,
A voice of hope, a post for eternal vigil,
It redirects your life by opening a new gate.

And I don't care now..For what once I prized
In truth it was but irrelevance, in deceptive guise.' The Light of Jesus..Is above all worldly worth

Premium Member The Stain Crusaders

"The Stain Crusaders"

Plath left the pages long ago
and Bacharach’s Blue-on-Blue
is an ineffectual softer numb-shade-of-Blue
dear green green Anthropocene

this much is true
with all the I love you’s
the wandering crusaders
are far far removed

sitting atop their soap boxes
sudsing up all the rooms
the silent stains in the poetic
are hard to remove

Ajax came coding unseen
like anticeptic borax
scrubbing out the irrelevance
dear green green Anthropocene

Shakespeare was never here
just a codex with a recipe
we seldom heed
most never read

the page book marked
dog-eared
maybe tomorrow
for the forget:

“My words fly up,
my thoughts remain below:
Words without thoughts
never to heaven go.”

Candide Diderot. ‘24

One door closes and one door opens.
My life proceeds in speckled sunlight,
dark to light and back, a shifting lens
of ambiguity, never sure of right,
only sure when the results come in
of those things that turn out wrong.
No, I don't believe in concepts of sin,
but, oh boy, the wages are clear and long
standing. Decisions made so many years ago
in the best of faith just seem to hang around,
like a long term plague, while actions low
and made in haste, disappear, can't be found
and seem to have no consequence. Justice
only exists when time metes out irrelevance.

Interludes Experimental

"Interludes Experimental"

Written in clouds
what eyes miss
patterns repeat
in minds
like poets speak

fast and irretrievable
irrelevance misses
the parenthesis
buried in interludes
experimental

in minds
like poets speak

These Brick Bound Boxes

these brick bound boxes
fill this equinox of smart headed people
of these independent achievable people
critical analysts of this 21 century
ready to be presentable to the unmighty
smaller population of antisocial teenage children
willing them to be

not to be free, but inside these brick bound boxes
that fill the human intelligence with total
literate irrelevance to who we should be
to who can be

ultimately like them
filled in these brick bound boxes
with mental instimulance
of a mix of lies, creation and motives
see, I don’t have a problem with any of them

just these brick bound boxes that hold them
hold this unforgettable willing mind
of someone we chose to leave behind
in these brick bound boxes

that encompass first the mind and then the soul
but who wants all this control?

society can speak of a whole.
an incredible strong mental image
of how life is to be--
within these brick bound boxes.

My life isn’t based in these brick bound boxes
but it soon will
creating a song of the monotone dead
longing to be passed on from generation to generation
but can't you see

can't you forget that this is not who we ought to be
unless we need to spontaneously combust
in this equinox till it metastasizes
catastro sizes to an everlasting dust
even you must ought to smell the musk.

So tell me, how do thee?
how do thee live with these brick bound boxes
filling up every empty not-yet-set concrete whole
implying of who you are before you could even
have some kind of control over yourself

its swept under the rug.
no biggie, you're just a kiddie
no actual value to this reality
yet before you can buy alcohol

and I’m someone to sound big
I just don’t want to fill these lonely brick bound boxes
where the death of every living will cease to be a beginning
in this equinox of the everlasting dust,
so do you must, live in these brick bound boxes?

My Kindred's End

I am like Thursday.
Confused where to begin, defiant over the nearing end.
I am wanting to live, but longing to die
There is nothing more fruitful than seeking less irrelevance over life.
Nonetheless, I remain sober and less

Who are we to despise who we are?
Despicable, admirable; who are we to blame?
Death nears the people who least expects
Life happens to dark commodities called demise
Problems come on fleet.

Waiting for pain to pierce through
A subtle pinch to the soul
Flinched drowning before realizing
Breathed the heavy earth
Seeking Goodbye to the false universe

See me on a sudden blink
I am a red flower with fake thorns
A creeping delicacy with tasteless anomaly
Devious to the eyes, warm inside
Even the same kind are wanderers to my being

From poetry to prose
Life’s uncanny I have disposed
I crave for my calling
The end I suppose
Would you still want me when I’m not myself?

The Deadly 7

7 of the most deadly sins, lurk & inhabit., us all within
No one is immune, of its venomous wrath.
Human nature not an obstacle, in its path.

Although we are made out of love, we are born into sin.
Nothing more deadly than the living and breathing.

let me introduce , you to PRIDE. A funny thing we all know, yet hide.
Pride is the deadliest of them all, many a man live truly a man fall.

Pride is so hurtful in many ways, it takes recognition away,
Competitively displays.

In this materialistic world, we live in. ENVY is shrewd so, we may not see it coming.
Unknowingly to us or the victims it harbors, resent the good seen, in others

To have everything in abundance and never satisfied, is truly GLUTTONY with "big" gleaming, eyes.

Wanting something, purely for our own, pleasure & satisfaction, LUST has no love or, emotional attachment.

In a twinkle of an eye ANGER, can trigger a sad goodbye. Many have died at the hands of this trait, love turned to anger determines another's fate.

Obtaining all the possessions of wealth and fortune, GREED sadly strips us of our salvation, with distortion.

Physical things that we need at present, vanish away with , irrelevance.

Working for what we want to achieve, there is no place for SLOTH, and it's un-motivated deeds..

Fundamental Nihilism

A core of nothing essential,
spinning around a void of irrelevance
Molten thoughts of lava movements ...
civilization crumbling, sand castles dissolving
Vesuvius pleasure nodes vibrating
to the sound of igneous deconstruction
The societal matrix bond unraveling ...
all the colorful banner ants on the genome farm
keep gathering more excess technology to store
in fortified tunnel shelters underground
Nuclear apocalypse harvest is near —
Fundamental nihilism is the last philosophical dark frontier,
standing on the abyss precipice of global disintegration fear
Desiring to embrace tsunami waves of destruction
is the sulfuric surfer foundation bored
Silver reprobate riders of the rising crest,
heading to the scorched shores of emptiness
Nothingness is worshiped as cleansing entropy purity,
such is the amoral fundamental nihilism belief
Disorder is the thermal dynamic energy,
the core of chaos spinning into extinction —
Devolving in the primordial cosmic sea
But, no existential worries ... voter worms
will choose a queen to egg spread abject antipathy
As the temporal birds of prey
fly on the antiquity winds of anti-gravity ...
Claw crushing the DNA of humanity,
erasing all that was ... and will ever be
Behold the terrifying lying dream
of the evil fundamental nihilism belief

A Former Slender Man Deplores Weight Gain

I loathe shucking clothes,
(no matter eyes severely myopic)
in preparation for here goes
another warm shower quickly
relaxing this senescent
body ready to doze

soon after lathering
this blubbery body
most unwanted fat grows
on me, no matter healthy diet
of worms, or how I stand,
not so easy add a pose

zing losing battle – Mary Jo's
if and geeze us of bulge ill flattering
particularly quiverly, sans white
"WALL" tire tread fully goes
steely belted around lower
abdominal area like lava floes

siring unsightly expose
yore squishy Jew dish priestly
punchy,plasma paunchy, gristly...
pillow like marshmallows
fittingly, rotundly soundly
identical with other schlep

tin (tin tabulation) grungy hobos,
this lap pissed lard (lord) Who Lee
bemoaning, how ilk readily knows,
where unwanted bulky flab...
most detested - hence Corp Yule Lance
leaves noth thin to noblesse oblige,

know bull eats obese,
anorexia nervosa or chance
barking out orders reminiscent, when he
hapt tubby a caller at
weekly square and/or contra dance,
now requisitioned to insulate

and excessively enhance
body electric can be mushed
into likeness of fleshy France
or repurposed into expanse
resembling any country,

whose name Kants
be easily pronounced, and historical
events glommed together recognizable
as Ataturk with a lance

thus requires deep dish allegiance
(non - fiber - binding contract)
for eats and make decadent
every fleshpot gourmand
stretching cellular skein to capacitance

bestowing guaranteed deliverance
with their rolling
ballooning massive circumference
into orbit with Earthly moon officiant
eternal fondue irrelevance!

Intelligentsia

I think about intelligence
And wonder why we think our due
Is sanctioned by our own IQ
That natural inheritance
     Compels us by unbending laws
     To evolutionary cause
That beggars to irrelevance
The truth that brains can be a threat
That make it easy to forget
The most compelling evidence
     That intellect may well provide
     A rationale for venal pride
Displacing sounder temperaments
     With logical proficiency
     Ignoring self-deficiency
And cultivates intolerance
     With vanity incredulous
     And tidy, hidden prejudice
That blithely leads to negligence
     Denying those less capable
     In contexts inescapable

I much prefer the elegance
Of caring for the other guy
     Of answering a helpless cry
Of principled benevolence
     That intellect cannot be taught
Beyond the wit of reasoned thought

I think about intelligence
That natural inheritance
That beggars to irrelevance
The most compelling evidence
Displacing sounder temperaments
And cultivates intolerance
That blithely leads to negligence

I much prefer the elegance
Of principled benevolence
