Premium Member Winter's Afterglow
stars twinkled brilliantly
against majestic snow-capped mountains,
delicate pure white flakes danced;
swirling, twirling, rhythmically.

she stood, nose pressed tightly
against the window pane; gazing in awe
at the magic the snowflakes created;
as tears spill from her emerald green eyes.

the cabin is warm, radiating a comforting glow
a fresh pine scent lightly...

Premium Member It Was Her Poetry Seduced Me
When Thor struck his hammer
upon the flat ground on Earth
it was the pieces withstood the blow we named rock,
constructs we came to know as the mountains.

Even before that time
I crossed my fingers
wished I'd one day experience
...you.

I knew you before heavenly purity grew wings
before angels...

A New Light, Bright Rays That Are Sent To Heal

New light, brighter rays bequeathed to heal
those deep aching fears, terrors of the night,
those wicked world uses to sweet joy kill

Pleiades I-Imagine
Imagine a snow scene,
icicles and ice cream,
immense hills of candy,
invitingly handy,
indulge in gingerbread,
inhale treats and don't fret,
ingest in heavens spread.

Premium Member Reflecting on Carefree days
Looking deep into your invitingly,
warm, brown eyes, I suddenly felt
intoxicated, as if I were drunk,
Drunk, dizzy, and unbalanced,
Unbalanced, I stumbled right into an
old tree,
Tree, it wasn’t any old tree; it was
the tall palm tree, our secret meeting
place.

Place, a heart-shaped rose...

Premium Member An unforgettable Smile

In the realm of memories, there lies
an unforgettable smile, ethereal and
bright,
It etched its mark upon my soul on a
beautiful moonlit night.
It danced with joy, illuminating hearts
with its sweetness and charm.
It was invitingly radiant, friendly
and warm.

The smile was a simple gesture,
for...

The Secret Lives of Chimney Pots Vi
Strategically placed when raised
Upwards
By your masterful and well
Practiced hand.
To mingle with ever changing
Skylines
That frown down with arrogant
Scowls
Upon the indigenous populous of
This just and tolerant island.
To study and pontificate upon
Predictable behaviour,
When so lamentably remarking,
Then to inwardly digest;
Our conclusions...

You’ll never guess whom the cat drug in; have a day where you just couldn’t win?
He came strutting in, smacking his gum loud, dressed to the nines Goth Punk style.
Tats trailed down his left arm, with my notice, he said, saving up for the other...

Ode To Mother
Ode To ‘Mother’ Creator ©
Not only is it a marvelous happen chance in being able to have ‘shares’ in Mother Nature’s flora creations 'first hand'---
But, we are then granted to sit before her, these ‘set tables’….
She, as our ‘hostess’ serves ‘up’ an endless canvasing ‘kaleidoscope’...

Queen of the Night
As I gazed into the sky in the middle of the night, to my surprise I saw an object coming towards me from the moon.
From an object it turned into a fascinating creature, from a fascinating creature it became an indescribable paragon of beauty.

A Whale's View of the Ocean
Oh graceful enchanting Ocean!
Your brilliant mesmerising waves
captivated my heart,
I can hear them calling to me,
can feel them
embracing me gently
As you summon them back and forth,
They invitingly drag me along,
As the sirens sing their song.

Oh resplendent sparkling sea!
I long for a life filled with wonder
On your...

The Mystery of the Moonlight
As lovers walk hand in hand, with each step their world becomes smaller under the moonlight
Cocooned in their embrace, lips on lips trace, as passion takes hold, under the moonlight

At midnight, the tormented soul begins his pain the full moon sees his change
grisly...

But there is a meadow
I would see in a dream
With wild flowers rife
The most in a dream I’ve ever seen

For the view spreads endlessly
The golden bloom never fades
But stops only at some foothills,
Rolling, receding like ocean jade

The sky...

Bluebell Woods
I love bluebells,
I like their deep scent,
the way they jingle invitingly in the spring breeze,
their delicate blanket patchworked by trees,
brief but bold blues against verdant greens, sparkling with white anemones.
This year I look at them and all they are doing is reminding...
