Forgive intrusion in the fray
I'm making comments today
Tom's limericks, three
were cute as can be
But of Kim and Jack, I must say.....

We all know how well Kim can write
She graces each page of the site
But limerick queen
Jan is a machine
There's no cause to argue or fight (all done in fun)

Limerick's have a syllable count
Ya can't use just any ol amount
Jack uses too many
His words aplenty
It's a problem he must surmount

It's the same with Shakespeare's sonnet
No matter whose name is on it
There's one Scotland Yard
And only one Bard
No imitators, doggone it

Don't get stalled with rhyme and meter
Sometimes prose can read much sweeter
Write what's in your heart
Poetry is art
Pick up your pen and don't teeter

No showdowns here; we're having fun
Put away your slingshot and gun
Not calling the law
Just havin' a jaw
Don't run me out of town...I'm done

Intrusion of Thought

Cushioned with green, warmed by the sun
Blue sky above, clouds on the run

Clovers three, with luck four clusters
Sharing laughs and belly busters

Pulling grass to make thumb whistles
Picking flowers avoiding thistles

Grasshoppers jumping blade to blade
Soaking up sun, avoiding shade

Ladybug, red, on a daisy’s white petal
Flies away as the heart back peddles

“He loves me” was the last petal plucked
“Does he really?” the intrusive thought struck

Illusion of Intrusion

Illusion of Intrusion

The illusion laced with confusion how, so many think they know, only too get lost in the hunt for the perception of ease.
Please, the one that matters most.
Protect and hold your true feelings close, while taking another dose.
Only to brag and boast, giving a toast to the night air, to stare. Wondering is anything ever fair.
Yet, you find yourself still ready to declare sentiments, for those that are no longer there.
Now, it's just an unsettling feeling of lust. Whispering those words, who do you trust?
Denying the things that unfold, behold the things that have turned cold. This intrusion; this illusion of truth, that has left you bitter, with one night stands. Sadness falls, wasteful is the game.
Shame, when there are more losers than winners. Leaving things the same way you arrived.
Survived, when taking aim at ones heart, where all things start and shall remain.
Encompassed by the wants and needs.
Freed to take heed of all adversity, even when stricken with uncertainty. University of clarity, which has risen within view, to pursue that which is real. Instilling that which is faith, hate when there was doubt. Hope when there was pain. Love still remained, embedded within these veins.

Voyeur Intrusion

Silk soft skin and midnight eyes
In those eyes pure passion lies
Heated breath with moistened lips
Soft panting breast with hardened tips
Flushing cheeks, small beads of sweat
All is given with no fear of threat
Soft-lit room from warming fire
Two souls within burn with desire
Heat that built not from the grate
The two are here no act of fate
Both our hosts know not we view
Their minds are locked as lovers true
No sordid act for each they chose
Passion heightened as bodies close
She is he then he is she
Their merging forms not ours to see
Silence bar for murmured cares
We leave them now for this is theirs

Suffering Unlawful Intrusion

I awake still down
wishing I never woke
Speaking in questions leading to answers
I wish I never spoke
I don't know how or why
I keep on fighting
My only true outlet is on the paper
in which I am writing
Speaking to myself wondering
when it will all go away
All I ever wanted was to awake
feeling secure today
Instead I wish
that I had never awoke at all
Why do I repeatedly awake
Just to fall
Some day's I don't want to
walk, talk, feel or see
I don't want to wake up some day's
still being me
I wish I wish I wish
I could just be free
From all of those who misjudge, abuse and
Isolate me
They pick what they love
Discarding all that they hate
But no one is whole
when they strip any single trait
How can I be spoken about In manners
That destroy my own belief
Again I wish I awoke
to some sort of relief
Just want a career that gives me
a purpose on this earth
Instead I am feeling useless
Awaiting my rebirth
My second chance to do it all over
and make better choices
maybe then I would be free
of these inner voices
Constantly asking myself if I am sure
I want to live and not die
Why cant I hear silence that doesn't
give me reason to cry
I need a life with no outside influence
Causing internal confusion
I am tired of my inner being suffering
unlawful intrusion

Intrusion and Coercion

Is the memory still alive?
Creaking bed, bottles of wine
Your toilsome heft against mine...
We were both boozed up
I stumbled on your lap.
Is the memory still clear?
Overthrown pillows, a stained sheet,
Visible marks and entangled feet--
We were both consumed by fire
Ablazed by the need-- urges and desire--
Is the memory still there?
How my scream broke the stillness of the night
How my fingers dug vertical lines, as hard as I might
How you coerced yourself into mine
And the erratic whisper that I will just be fine.
Is the memory still present?
When the rain pattered and all we shared was a raging storm
Got lost in nirvana-- savored its tangy form--
Shall we hearken back to the intrusion?
Or shall we consider it a nonsensical hallucination?

Between Intrusion and Abandonment

Between intrusion and abandonment
We hope to find a place of trust and care
A place where we can spend our loving wealth

Communion starts.our hearts enjoy love’s health
Here our bodies and our souls are bared
Between intrusion and abandonment

Walk as does the tiger with its stealth
Treat your loved one well as both prepare
A place where each can spend this loving wealth

And if you are alone, stay with yourself
Do not neglect that soul who’s always here
Without intrusion or abandonment

Quietly sings the soul for all is meant
We’re inspired by hope and not by fear
To clear a space , to learn the dove’s lament.

Take the tiller, love itself may steer
Our voyage through the unknown ocean’s near
Between intrusion and abandonment
We seek a space to share our loving wealth

Mental Intrusion

I find myself in a familiar place and lost once again.
Well off my daily “straight and narrow.” Her intangible
presence creating problems my mind has proven -far too
weak to remedy…
Like an ancient warrior consumed in battle, his shield swallowed in the
swarm of the melee,
unable to fend off the onslaught.
Love like death seems imminent, as her smile and her eyes pierce without mercy…
inflicting a thousand cuts.
I’m conscious when the dreams return, too preoccupied, unable to wake
constructive thoughts
Damned by her, I’m compelled to thoughtfully meander,
revolving around pleasures possibly impossible -straining to loan them a hint of truth.
Fighting to maintain a grip on the unfathomable,
while wildly reaching with both arms for the mirage.
She is head of the state my mind is in, queen of a kingdom she herself made feeble.
I leap recklessly off jagged edges in inside wonder worlds, and slaughter genuine feelings made vulnerable by the crash of the sudden waves of qualm.
She makes countless visits between my wealth of emotions,
and frequents my inner imageries until her path, well worn, has carved that familiar hurt.
I give chase in speedy pursuit of her evanescent essence as it ambles,
all too often fearing, I may have, so quickly...already -lost sight…

Indiscretion of Our Intrusion

Running inbetween
Broken yous
And bronken mes
I'm trying to pretend
That we are none of
These

We are the new
The abused
The hidden
The viewed

Lapping up on
Precieved faces
And precieved cases
I'm trying to pretend
That we are more than
These

We are the old
The sold
The found
The bound

Stopping in
Lost yous
And lost mes
I'm trying to know
That we are any of
These

We are the known
The stoned
The able
The labeled

Unwelcome Intrusion

Unwelcome intrusion

Driving along a country road
dry dust billows behind
heading to work on a summer morn
the heat is yet to rise.

Early gold light in clear blue sky
brush stroke whispy clouds
bluegrey bush and fading mist
dew still on the ground.

Down a hill and round a bend
moving slower now
a wedgetail eagle looks up at me
over a roadkill repast.

He half spreads wings and glares at me
as I approach and pass
backs a bouncing step or two
so close I reflect in his eyes.

That instant the Eagle makes so clear
though I’m large he has beak and claw
wingspan greater than mine,
I’d regret it if I stopped for his food.

I imagine this noble king of birds
standing in the dust of my wake
thinking of noisy and impolite humans
to him, an unwelcome intrusion.

Intrusion

Passing through the woods
Midnight train hoots and hoots
Owl's bubbling voice

Intrusion

"Gosh!,by heaven who is this again?"
He flew holding unto the wall as it's aid.
It leaped higher, when the light i on again.
He retrieved as the shadow fled.
My fist strucked the wall,
To have it on the tile fall.
But the more i hunt it,
The cockroach escapes it.

An Intrusion That Mask Every Truth

How unsavory are some words
when they taste of an intrusion
that masks every truth not told...
assuming it needs no apology:
please get out of that dream world,
don't accept a reality that hurts deeply...
does it make you realize how faithless
you've been hanging on pretension?

An intrusion that masks every truth is
not always a salvation from illusion:
search inside all the guilts that you hide,
all the joys you've stolen from me leaving pain,
making me cry and bury this head in wet hands,
that even sunshine can dry up but glide
in a cold universe where lonely and betrayed lovers
go to grieve their loss in horrendous isolation!

Honesty can strengthen the bond of friendship,
put more effort into it, show your dedication
solve the conflict that stands in the way of joy;
do more to protect what can be yours again,
nothing will be lost, gather up courage and win!
Could a better decision change winds that whip
turning tears into ice drops that can't melt away?

An intrusion that masks every truth
is buried by time, not by a loving heart;
bring it to light, let it dazzle on the darkest night:
it's the closest and shiniest star never out of reach!
An intrusion that masks every truth,
can take away my happiness and delight!
