To be immune from aspersions mean and vile
May assuage our hurt feelings for awhile
But to really uphold the Golden Rule
We must also withhold words harsh and cruel—by poet

In an upside-down world
Where self-victimization
is a realization and hatred lingers, it goes nowhere
May not yet get it, and...

Implosion
Apprehensively,
Drifting into the fog.
Shivering, swaying, swinging,
Into the headwinds.

Monochromatic,
Dull diluted sunlight.
Straining, staggering, seeping,
Crossword puzzled meltdown.

Gasping for breath,
A poet coughs and sighs,
Spitting, slipping, surrendering,
A battle of knives and pens.

Monotonous,
Colors out of reach,
Droning, dragging, delirium,
Never ending horizons.

Calls for help,
Go unheard like bombs,
Unanswered, unexpressed, undone,
Until they explode.

Twenty lines behind...

Silent Implosion
At the furthest bank
This river flows
I dip my trembling toes

The highest cloud
I’ve yet to reach
I sit and then I eat

The horizon
Won’t yet soon evade
And then I’ll sit beneath its shade

Rationed
Stretched thin
One drop of margarine
On burnt white bread

In the darkest cave
I’ve dared to dwell
I cry...

Implosion
Untimely.
Illegitimate.
           I will not ask
           for an apology.

The hymn
started too early.
           The dust had...

The slope is tiring
I have been diligently struggling
The top of the mountain is called bliss
My eyes scotched to it
I keep trying to reach its peace

Yet, I could not anticipate myself
Breaking into pieces, tearing myself up
From the depths of my heart
Wanting to keep focused on the...

From unknown sources springs a strange, brain-splitting pain.
My physique and psyche burn in the urn of strain
Have my carefully raised moral castles collapsed?
Has my energy, like the toss of time, elapsed?
As though virtues and values have become corrupt
Like lavas of volcanoes, unknown graves erupt.

With whom...

Implosion
I'm screaming, I'm bleeding, I'm seeping out through these cracks along my skin. I'm breathing, I'm smiling, I'm letting myself fake sanity.
You're my hero. Save me, I'm in distress. I can't be happy without your hand in mine.
I can't forage clarity anymore; I need you...

Bursting inwards
puckered collapse sucked in,
with explosion played back in reverse,
she caught her sneeze
behind her lips shut tight,
with only a tiny grunt,
expelled from nostrils,
sneaking out,
she saved herself from
embarassing gesundheit....

Implosion
internally
implosioned
collapsed
fell apart
from within
from external
pressure placed
upon the weakened
state of affairs
that existed between
us for so long
finally gave way
to my dismay...

8 Word Implosion of the Heart
Implosion of the heart with grim, dark clouds overhead.
Wistful thoughts overwhelm, there are now feelings of dread.
And the shroud of dementia it seems never to part.
With grim dark clouds overhead, implosion of the heart.

The Prognosis is gloomy it leads to depression....

Self-Implosion
Until you escape your own cognition,
you’re a prisoner of your mind

Your spirit waiting to lift you free,
  dialectic far behind

Until you can leave all reasoning trapped,
and let your thoughts go free

You’ll never be able to self implode
  —as you...

The universe grows with such momentum,
galaxies go where the big bang sent 'em -
expanding forever.
Bully for the universe,
but I feel I'm going in reverse,
fearing something worse
with no hope whatsoever.

I feel I'm not growing, but shrinking,
and I feel that I must be sinking,
see?
Galaxy-size problems...

And he said unto them, If ye had not plowed with my heifer, ye had not found out my riddle.Judges 14:18b

They plowed with the heifer,
A stranger of a day,
assigned from the pit,
to bring a Samson down.
She feigned false affiance,
with a mission so deliberate,
trans-versing...
