Notes About The Poem
Anayalism = my take on huminism; I have expressed my philosophies as an amalgam of implosion, healing, and callous leadership and I believe that we really do know something, knowledge can save the world!  Everyone everywhere all at once all around the world. Implosion

To be immune from aspersions mean and vile
May assuage our hurt feelings for awhile
But to really uphold the Golden Rule
We must also withhold words harsh and cruel—by poet

In an upside-down world
Where self-victimization
is a realization and hatred lingers, it goes nowhere
May not yet get it, and still not self-aware
Now some may think that healing is
Ignoring what is destroying and go on enjoining
others near them to do the same, their end game
Using, medicating with words as ammunition stored on a shelf
Toxicity is there, taken aback, down deep in yourself
Hatred lingers, collecting dust mites
Imploding, suffocating smites and is on reserve
In a mindset where glory they deserve
Personal gut-wrenching bile packaged
Collecting more dust, disgust has an impact
It only makes you a stronger hellcat
One that hasn’t let go of the baggage
Is in an upside-down world of their own
On their own and may think they’re OK
Flies in the ointment, stagnant, a delay, decay
In a world where “making it better” ails, and means
Undoing what has taken lives in time in details
Only bequests, and is deeded
A new form of healing is much needed
Healing is embracing the newest challenges
There are bigger issues, bigger things
Then just you, heed the warnings
It begins within

“Civil war tested the proposition that America is one nation indivisible”—from the book “With Malice Toward None"— Stephen B. Oates

Anaya, I'm loving the connection between the graphic and the poem. Self-victimization and hatred are a huge deal these days and you call them out for what they do to those who fester with those thoughts and emotions. It's very difficult for some to escape this implosion, but it helps even yours truly to read this and ponder how to focus on the past with a constructive view of what it has taught me. In that way, I do deal with the present in a much more constructive fashion. We're fighting a strong tide these days! Smiles, of course!!

Opening with the victims of circumstances comparing to those who self-victimize, I'm not a psychologist, but through my experience know for a fact ignoring is not healing if you're still showing hate by spewing bile upon / then I softly shifted into the chaos (wincing) which shall destroy our Democracy, embracing it head-on...evil, it shall crumble! Winks

Through the grace of God I was as a child, I'm grown now my friend and see the Bible as largely allegorical, on the other hand I love Jesus and what He, as a man as the son of God, promulgated!! and to follow up on your concern, in the Good Book God tells us (in meantime) we must obey our kingdom on earth. Also, I think that God Himself brought me to you to enlighten with Anayalism. lol. TY, for your visit.

The price of liberty is eternal vigilance, and I must thank you for your vigilance, Anaya. Callous and cruel like a chain saw to our heart and soul. Well stated, Robert

Liberty, Liberty, L-i-b-e-r-t-y, lol. can't get that commercial out of my head, now. A little Anayalism, a huminist; I have expressed my philosophies both on implosion, healing, and callous leadership and I believe that knowledge can save the world! Yep, A leader with a callous heart takes a chainsaw to our souls. Thank you, Robby

Dear Anaya, Wow, this cuts deep and I sensed an unfiltered reckoning with the weight of hurt, the illusions of healing, the slow decay of what’s left unresolved. I think your words demand reflection. I hear them. I feel them. Excellent! Winter Blessings, My Dear Friend, Daniel

What's most personal also tends to be the most universal, Daniel. My therapist poet, as you know healing hurt is a process, and I believe ignoring will make the issue fester, resulting in an unsavory and callous hatred. There is no healing in that case. A viscous circle of hostility and aggressiveness. We can learn so much from each other, I love PS! Your cherished thoughts are a welcomed blessing~

A powerful and apt piece, the inverted photo of liberty sets the stage Anaya, one has to wonder will the nation follow blindly over the abyss, they didn’t create the monster, much worse they resuscitated it, after it was dead and buried, some poem, and needed saying, all the best in contest, cheers David

Ty, I'm thinking it could be more impactful in 3D. I know they will follow the leader to the debts of hell. A leader who is about to show the world he can, going all the way. In my world my heart hardened, and am prepared you see, but softened my heart to those as blind as can be, not to say I told you so, but to embrace the challenges to come. I'm here to entertain if anything, it's in my bones. Cheers! ~
