Best Hoisting Poems
Autumn delights sporting red dye
Painting meadows in crimson themes
Charming thrills of amorous dreams.
Where parching breaths of maple sigh
Zephyrs groove lilting amber breeze
Swaying rhythms of colorful trees.
How season’s golden passions vie
Waltzing glamor of stolen glance
As leaves chromatic whirl, and dance.
Sights lovesome gazing sapphire sky
Frolic with stars of moonlit night
Lauding sparkles of twinkles bright.
Hoisting desires of romance high
Venus smiles gawking lovers kiss
Boosting tempo of autumn's bliss.
Autumn delights sporting red dye
Where parching breaths of maple sigh,
How season’s golden passions vie
Sights lovesome gazing sapphire sky
Hoisting desires of romance high.

A hardened and disciplined man drove to the grocery store lost in thought,
with setting of sun, the long day's work almost found it's end.
Hoisting his daughter to shoulder, he walked from the parking lot,
and barely noticed her hair smelled of shampoo and pool chlorine blend.
He searched for fresh loaf of bread, and pound of peaches,
careful to tally up each purchase with well-honed skill.
With family's dinner waiting, and worn wallet short on wages,
thinking, that tank of gas will have to wait, and hoped it will.
Looking up from the myriad of baby food jars in the next aisle,
slowly he became aware, as a dense fog clears on a whim.
Now noticed a woman with mouth played in a strange smile,
her instinctive gaze fixed on something behind him.
He turned to see what elicited her quizzical beam,
and his heart melted at the sight in the shopping cart.
A straw haired helper, fast asleep, slumped over in a girl's charmed dream,
her little head now resting against his arm.
The day's worries quickly fled, tough exterior, now stripped senseless,
life's hard lesson and true measure of a man's love now shown.
Left wondering how a resting child could leave one so defenseless,
and that, which a man holds important..,could be so wrong.
Epilogue
I live the rest of my days wiser and more carefree.
For my darling little one, it wasn't I that carried you,
but you that carried me.

Silent journey
I ride with you O Mother Earth
On the wings of time and space
I feel you cradle me in your arms
Lifting me high above you
To feel the kiss of your wind
..... and the warmth of your sun
A flicker of light and I am
Surfing the tips of your waves
Salty mist fills my nose
My eyelashes sticky with moisture
My heart wide open
Oh joy !
To glide up and down
On your surging tide
To undulate with the motion
Of your sea
To feel the movement of the
Magical water beings below me
Sunlight follows me
Illuminating the foam before me
Twinkling glitter radiating
Centuries of adventure and passion
Lust and loss spread out before me
Ancient battles
Sunken ships
Lost treasures and dreams lay
Below me in the darkened depths
Remembering your light within my heart
A child of eight
Knowing you Mother Earth
Digging in your soil
Smelling the damp dirt
Grasping handfuls
Unearthing small treasures of
Colored glass and painted pottery
Glancing upwards towards the sky
Filled with puffy white cloud dreams
Knowing your spirit and soul
Feeling you entwined with me
In the heavens and stars
Finding you in unexpected ways
Climbing the highest trees
Grasping at thick branches
Hoisting myself up
Beams of light piercing through
Shadows beckoning me higher
My t-shirt soaked with
excited sweat and purpose
Flying my dime-store kite
Out of my bedroom window
Wind taking it up so far
Up.... up...up
Appearing as a migratory bird
Making its way home
Dissolving into a small speck
Until I could see it no more
Painful grooves biting into my fingers
Cutting her loose
She’s free to fly home now
Transcending time
A silent whisper
Imperceptible movement
Pushing upward
Through fertile earth
I slowly unfurl my cloak of greenery
Stretching out my arms
Raising my head upward
I see the beauty of my form
A new seedling with furry lime tendrils
A baby plant on the carpet of the forest
Glancing upward I see my self surrounded
Sacred towering redwood giants gaze down upon me
As sunlight music tickles my soul

Hoisting passions fervid, probing celestial height,
Hypnotized we stood, enthralled in smile of June,
Caressing dreams flirtatious of a romantic night,
Reaffirming love, beneath the strawberry moon.
Pulsing beats heavenly, fantasies esoteric chased,
Thrilling realm of love, resonating deep in your heart,
Content in your embrace, as memories intimate traced,
Echoes of promises eternal, forever vows impart.
Seeing you rejoiced, snuggled in my loving arms,
Nary a cloud dared to encumber cerulean skies,
As you navigated sight through opaline sea of stars
Tantalizing flame of passion, sparkling doting eyes,
Having been wooed by mystical glimpse of Luna,
Proffering blush of aura, tantalizing romance,
Bedecking tints orange upon luminous rosy awe
Seducing stance-entranced of enamored glance,
Gazing with throbbing hearts, where desires croon,
Hypnotized we stood, enthralled in smile of June,
Humming melodies, in sync with the celestial tune,
Reaffirming love, beneath the strawberry moon.

Crimson vistas blaze sapphire sky
Glinting twilight in lovers’ eyes
When desires smile and tempos rise
As autumn’s scarlet feelings vie
Whirling appeal of amber breeze
Sepia dreams crooning hearts seize
Tinting leaves in fiery red dye
Autumnal hints ignite romance
Stealing glance of alluring stance
And lilting vibes, gilded winds sigh
As moonlit mountains enchant sights
Gazing stars of seductive nights
Hoisting tenor of passions high
When embers of love boldly flare
Kissing lips of amorous stare
Crimson vistas blaze sapphire sky
As autumn’s scarlet feelings vie
Tinting leaves in fiery red dye
And lilting vibes, gilded winds sigh
Hoisting tenor of passions high

Awesomely white, amazingly glorious
Bible Revelation Horse* --- victorious…
Carrying CHRIST from heaven celestial
Driven for tasks, divinely essential…
Enthusiastic, daring, energetic
Fulfilling well roles that are prophetic…
Governed by truth and wisdom of Scriptures
Hoisting faith along God’s kingdom ventures…
Instructed upon righteousness' great stride
Jumping over trials midst holy pride…
Kingly Saviour’s Horse bearing gracious light
Leading fellow stallions with goodness flight…
Mounting against evil for love to reign
Never neglecting duty of peace gain…
Optimizing strength as the Lord’s War Horse
Powerfully propelled by triumph force…
Quick to respond toward blest reaching-out
Readily hurdling tests of hardships- bout…
Steadfast and stable to smite sin downfall
Trotting above frustration neigh and call…
Upheld to ascend via kindness’ speed
Vanquishing hate by Master’s loving deed…
Winning favor of supreme Commander
X-ing out loss, praising Servant Leader…
Yielded to Creator Almighty
Zealous joyful Horse toward eternity.
*Revelation 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

Any bold cloud dancing
enjoys flirting gallantly,
hoisting; inspiring; jousting;
knowing laughter makes nice orchestrations
particularly quenching raw spirits
teaching unabashed vanity
While Xylophones yammer zanily.

Pressed firmly a shoulder against brick wall
Arms that are folded and feeling quite tall
A hurly burly of a lazy man
Only works if he has to or can
Frustrated waiting for the big check
Drank the last one quickly red neck
They only come once upon time
Delusional angry and outside so I'm
In and out my mind does wonder
Try to control the other guy under
No money for meds and mad hatter is he
Unpredictable this matter will be
Hoisting two sacks the postman will meet
But which one of us uncertain the greet
Passing me by with no check in hand
Off the stoop on postman he land
Franticly struggling to loosen the strap
Harder and tighter the handle did rap
Doesn't take long the postman is limp
It's back to me the original wimp
I don't understand the reason for action
This guy was good during every transaction
You'll never know by meeting us guys
But we'll see you through these killer eyes

Amazed with miracle healings of God
Braced am I to minister by His nod
Circumspectly following path He trod...
Doctor of heart heals* by His love’s power
Easing afflictions thru blessings’ shower
Fortifying health welfare to flower...
Guarding soul midst merciful concern’s care
Hoisting spirit toward good service-dare...
Illness inflicted by sins He can cure
Jesus is His name, my Lord and Saviour...
King of Kings, Physician almighty great
Life-Giver of heaven’s excellent rate
My life He does nourish with values' trait...
Nestling I am in His nursing nurture
Offered to exercise service-venture...
Praying to volunteer in reaching-out
Quieting miseries by fighting doubt
Restoring trust's loss with faith's prudent re-route...
Sharing the Gospel of salvation might
Testifying of His redemption-light
Upholding virtues of genuine goodness
Valuing all tasks by His graciousness
Working toward servanthood faithfulness...
Xenial to needy, offering comfort
Yielded I am to His compassion-fort
Zoomed to doing miraculous effort.
*Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised.

Your Taj Mahal
Too many times you hoisted anchor
there isn't time but you should thank her,
for being such a goober for so long.
You have made her life a Taj Mahal
there she swims in waist deep indigo,
she's reflected in the cesspools of your morning sun.
An ivory tusk is what you're after,
a monument to fun and laughter,
she shaves your neck out on the street for fun,
she's New Delhinese from head to toes,
but you brought her to the Poconos,
where your Taj Mahal outshines the morning sun.
You talk about the plight of Gandhi
most of the night and all day Sunday,
and tell your friends about the things she's done,
at her spinning wheel she worships you,
but she's leaving in a week or two,
if she told you now it wouldn't be much fun.
She'll board a ship that's hoisting anchor
and meet a poet or a banker,
avoiding caste from where she once belonged,
she'll remember you for making her
one more monument to how things were,
when your Taj Mahal was whiter than the sun.

Oh, March
you pompous windbag
howling in the hollows
of Winters fade.
Scattering Fall’s gold
across warmed mud,
billowing tree bound
plastic bag kites,
hoisting the weightless hawk.
Oh March
you city street sweeper
funneling debris
down tunneled alleys,
tearing at the edges
of flailing flags,
hastening the pace
of lethargy’s malaise.
Oh March
you docile lamb
caressing soft peeking buds,
nurturing the squawk
of nestlings,
nudging idle cocoons
to wakefulness,
warming ophidian
cold blood.
Oh March
you are the hint
of warming’s kiss
titillating Spring’s yawn.

~
Silence, on waves of our tide motioned heartbeats,
cascading rhythms, a smooth metronome
Keeping this time inside blue water passions,
beneath the surface, the feelings we’ve grown
Hidden so deep in the swells of affection,
swimming the shores of a long summer’s night
Building a fortress of seashell laced castles,
sand dollar curtains to fend off the light
Running for cover as sunrise now beckons,
placing our smiles where the seas cannot gaze
Whispering secrets of coast line devotion,
harboring dreams till the end of our days
Lighthouse lit beacons now search as a witness,
beaches a’ shimmer of moon glow above
Hoisting our anchor, we share the horizons,
sailing these oceans, professing our love

Partly clad
full moon
was taking a bath on hills.
Trees were waiting
for the curtains to rise.
Scented stars would make
giant scars on the clouds,
I would make peace with the sky.
Lids of human greed were laden
with golden dust, I was hoisting the skull.
Of a virgin god who did not
want to live for the blotched up creation.
The decline was obvious. Truth
had refused to climb
on the sky-blue, salted peaks of springs.
Body had arrived,
mourners quietly wailing.
Gouged eyes could not decipher
the script on the halved pyramid.
Sun was sucking the clay.

Glinting glimpse of amber delight, golden dawn arrives
Enchanted by the symphonious chorus of robins’ voice
As yellow daffodils swing, lilting winds in ruby sunrise
When scented whiffs of pink hyacinth muse your smile
Awakening you from rosy dreams gleaming in your eyes;
Oh, the splendor of spring floats on wings of butterflies!
Hiding in foliage of tall verdant pine, bluebirds twitter joy
While merrily on red-maple tree sparrows dance nearby
As purple peonies, white daisies, on green-edges beautify
And standing tall in blazing colors ornamental tulips vie
Hypnotizing your sight, in awe of beautiful garden paradise;
Oh, the splendor of spring floats on wings of butterflies!
Refracting sun rays, tiny gems glint emerald green grass
While roses red, swaying merrily, adorn our side-walks
Spurring crimson-crested cardinal’s euphoric air dance
As flaunting graceful ambiance, a distinctive blue-jay flies
Circling lily of the valley, where buzzing bees fantasize;
Oh, the splendor of spring floats on wings of butterflies!
As the uplifting sunbeams upon morning’s horizon rise
Amid symphony of colors sensual impulses romanticize
Mesmerizing lyrics of love as rhythms of hearts harmonize
Hoisting tenor of passions high, blushing sapphire skies
Enamored in grandeur of nature’s wondrous enterprise;
Oh, the splendor of spring floats on wings of butterflies!
