Hin-mah-too-yah-lat-kekt, born at the close,
defeat your only destiny.
Thunder Rolling Down the Mountain, sometimes the strong
are chosen to fight the hopeless wars.
You began to lose before you rose;
they who called you Joseph
sought the land which held your father's body,
but you would not sell the bones of your father and mother.
Chief Joseph, they followed you a thousand miles.
You left your home,
but they would not let you go.
You fought with the frantic fury of the bush fire.
Thunder Rolling Down the Mountain, they caught you
but forty miles from your goal.
Your people broken, slaughtered, scattered.
Count the children, O Chief Joseph.
Hin-mah-too-yah-lat-kekt, they would not kill you.
The heart beats, the spirit dead.
The strong man born to bitter end.
"From where the sun now stands, I will fight no more forever."

close. Like a star that gleam
in a flash we share the same
desires, though miles apart, so
now our bliss souls rest oceans away, our
fine love still shinning-----When my message
finds you at the shore line, I pr- ay you
read it in time, I admire you an- d adorn
you with my joyful tears. The da- y nice

walking bare feet along the shor - eline sand
a wine bottle among your feet un- expected
your soul will find me-----through light
years. I pray you place your love inside this
blissful star, return to the water,
and I will hope one day soon,
i get to hold you near~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Lord you are mighty loving and have a masterful plan.
As a sinner and a carnal man, I hurt for humanity, I truly understand.
When I let the devil control my inner thoughts,
I remember Jesus, the Holy Spirit tells me His death hasn't gone for naught.
Problems have entered my mind Jesus is powerful and without Him guiding me, I can't win.
So I pray Lord that you'll aid me if it's your will and not let this carnal sin in.
Your statutes your commandments I will follow till I die.
Alone without you aiding me I will truly fail, and my soul will wail and cry.
Asking in faith guide me to where you want me to be.
I'm asking for help please help me spiritually.
The worlds evil master has recently tempted my faith.
I alone know that with you, if you will, will guide my writtings and make you great.
I fear that you have deserted me as a carnal man and I'm loosing my path.
The fear of loosing my faith will incur your wrath.
God you are my rock with you I cannot fail.
So asking in prayer if it is your will, we together will prevail.
God the father has blessed this nation called America.
Has America stopped to bless you? exalting your power?
What belongs to the devil let hin be cast to the eternal fire.
Make your people want your everlasting love, this is what I desire.
‘Wana Hin Gle’ the Lakota call me,
‘Wana Hin Gle’ my given name
‘He Who Happens Now,’ the drum beat has found me,
reaching into this moment beyond glory and fame
As ‘Wana Hin Gle,’ my spirit has wandered,
as ‘Wana Hin Gle,’ my ancestors call
The questions dissolve, as The Great Mystery beckons,
the campfire eternal, the chanting enthralls
“‘Wana Hin Gle,”’ my Mother calls proudly,
“your horse is now ready, your shield fixed with bone
“Off into the prairie you must ride in the twilight,
the People will dance until their son returns home
“’Wana Hin Gle,’ you must now happen quickly,
the buffalo are all captive, starvation allowed
“Your eyes look upon the great Wakan Tanka,
whose absence has shamed us, who once were so proud
“As the great Tasunka Witko who traveled before you,
you must wait for your horse to come out of the lake
“Great Mother River and Great Mountain Father,
to your will they entrust what The People forsake
“Your vision must suffer, the babies still cry,
the cold through the tent flaps, all future in blight
“You must leave us now, but leave us in darkness,
for when you return, a new vision will burn bright
“You will ride to the top of the ‘Pass Of The Bears,’
ask the Grizzly, our brother, if the demon still preys
“If it does, you must kill it, for this time and always,
it has hovered above us keeping spirits away
“The White Horse will take you from the lake to the mountain,
and the stallion will sprout wings with its hooves fiery hot
“You will trample this demon and burn him before you,
the smoke will then signal of what he is not
“‘Wana Hin Gle,’” my son; the time is for going,
your vision awaits, past-futures on hold
“The Medicine Woman is locked deep inside you,
your People die waiting—the young and the old”

T hin strands of DNA entwine to form the core of me.
A work in progress blooming on the loom of life.
P ain and plenty leave colored cords rough or soft.
E ndless moments of love and confusion shuttle
S eamlessly within the makers metaphoric hands
T umbling in a tumult of multi-colored tufts
R aised and sheltering is the garment of my life
Y outh an oft sought memory rushed to the calm of age.
Why set in gloom wild April now
Art thou not herald to the spring
And does that grave and low’ring brow
Beseem the sorts this hour should bring
Go; to the ocean of the past
With haste pursue thy dreary way
That cloudy face, that frosty blast
Might chill the opening blooms of May
Well may I wear a cloudy face
Well might I drop a parting tear
For though I opt the vernal race
I also close a fleeting year
Long wilt thou here in joy behold
The Christian sire amid blessings move
With mortal flame of earthly mould
But heart and spirit from above
Oft will thou hear the orphan sigh
A prayer for him who taught him prayer
Oft view the widow’s tearful eye
In rapture own his saving care
Mine is the dread and endless chill
The path but once by ages trod
Whilst blest and blessing he shall still
Perform to man the work of God
Another day, and I have been
Unlike thee, never more to be
For all I loved, and all I’ve seen
Shall rise again, but not for me
Another day for him shall weave
A wreath of many happy year
From hin to part well I may grieve
Well thou rejoice to keep him hear
(From 'Searching For Crazy Hose' Published in 2011)
Crazy Horse's final words to me as our search ended....
“My son, you can search,
but without your vision it’s hopeless
Its message I saw before you
so very long ago
You have now searched the heights
and the depths of its border
Finally living inside it,
separate no longer from yourself
You were called by the wind
to climb and go higher
Your soul casting no shadow,
nothing blocked from your sight
That which keeps you from seeing
is no longer inside you
What stays with you now lives
beyond a thousand goodbyes
Your name has been added,
and your place is now vacant
The pipe sits ready in council
for when your time will come
With one foot in this land,
you step beyond with the other
And in my Father’s lodge, all speak
your new name
. . . . ‘Wana Hin Gle’
(He Who Happens Now)
This name that I give you will
protect and sustain you
Guarding you, and you alone,
from the lack of yourself
Others may hate,
and may even hunt you
Killing only what they fear,
while making you strong
Rest easy, my son, for you’ve
seen them in passing
Their blind spot in eternity
not worthy of your eye
You no longer need the West
or my words to console you
The substance of your vision
is now released and set free”
Look it's there, posing haar,
quite lofty an fair, nerve taking air;
hushed breeze only by you;
how wonderful thou care.
To spin an fin in vines bin,
an let thy heart pulse in hin;
To speak an write an start a fight
chug upon what puzzle i am in,
an flurr like air to fins mine gold;
from about to finish and hold
skips away from my bold air
how lucky a-holic air
i fear of e're.
The letter X is quite complex, it may even be a hex or have special effects.
Check out the subject with respect to X.
There was a man who traveled the globe. When in other countries he would sleep in his clothes.
Terrified to disrobe. The doctors said, it had to do with the frontal lobe.
So they labeled hin a xenophobe. I'll no longer probe for the letter X has me vexed, it's quite perplexed.
