I Will Breathe In Your Rarefied Air

When you said to me,
"Climb up here, It's pollution free."
Sacred. Safe.
Your rarefied air.
Calculating, you seemed so free.
Safeguard. Sage.
I said I could breathe...
Underrated your density.
Saintly. Sane.
High-minded insight.
When anticipated terror
denuded me,
cool rarefied air
regulated insanity,
far gone fear.

I will breathe
in your rarefied air.
Let it burn brisk
in brittle, brave lungs.
Gasp and grasp
life's flame, full flare.
Lunge for high notions,
those far-flung schemes.

I will breathe in
High mind's smoke,
hung  in air-
that ghostly stroke of genius,
rare token in disguise
Well spoken word flurries
whipping away thin guise.
Floating crown
adrift on high.

I will breathe in
Your rarefied air,
because I listened to you.
"Clamber up, high!
Unfazed view will circle you,
miles on end surround you.
No going around the bend.
Nowhere else to go.
No zig zag escape.
No spike in pressure.
No deep depression.
No bad atmosphere.
No stabbing shove.
No push or pull on edge.
Just your pledge to breathe.
To move in one direction.
Forever. Mentally "together."
Stay in good shape."

I will breathe out.
Your rarefied thoughts
congeal life's force,
slows down blood flow.
Till body gloved heart
faintly, faintly glows...
Concealed fire's torch,
caved embers die down.
Stripped artfully apart,
Your rarefied airs
blanket my mind in snow.

Goodness
Doing right things
Opportunity knocks
Sometimes when we least expect it
For one’s better angels
Allowing ways
To shine.

Virtue
A welcome trait
For high-minded living
Example for those we know who
Disregard their morals
Skirt the edges
Often.

Ethics
Will cultivate
An exemplary life
Of lasting proper behaviors
If conscientiously
Better living
Applied.

Conduct
Measuring our
Commitment fully to
A better world for tomorrow
And high-mindedness for
More love, justice
Today.

Premium Member Silent Spirit Soul Surrenders Soars To Heaven-

Discerning knowing
ongoing boring
 destitute
 high-minded absolute
 confined it in resolve
End bizarre I close my open eyes
 to see the inside
 of me as I am relieved
of my spirit my soul surrenders and I fly like a dove
 toward the skies
 I'm enhanced
 I am no longer in a trance
 not Beyond belonging to myself
I take on a second breath
 not I relinquish I passed the test
 I
am
 solemn

A Romantic Muse

His love had blind tendrils,
each had many suckers.

She pressed autumn leaves
into a shoe box with scraps of erotica.
She tucked damp poetry
away for later.

He came with chocolates
and a high-minded lust.

Eventually the tendrils of his love
became less blind,
they saw things he did not like,
and she did not appreciate the sucking noise
his mind made
when he said:- I love you,
however, he did bring good chocolates,
he did wash regularly,

but in the end
she just felt dirty.

Naked Southwest

Beyond the Batumi city, i am endlessly unclothed
A.m., rose, i ran out of my bed
Hopped into a vile pleasure Naked and unbothered
Being Naked, i started my morning with dancing and singing nursery rhymes.

Moloch departed for battle, signs in my dreams
Burning of written works and poems, Naked by my window
In the ashes, dancing, chilled chicken noodle soup
Singing high-minded incantations, beneath a blood-red morning cloud.

Naked and making breakfast, amid the morning grins
Children playing in the dirt while dancing freely in front of the window
Elvis under shivering lightning clouds is playing ecstatically in my apartment
Temuri plays guitar while skeletons twirl, oh magnificent Georgia.

Naked watching the sparkling plastic sea to sea
Free of fixed identity
Everyone sees the pacific ocean voyage coming to an end
Falling into the after train misses switch.

Premium Member Daughters In Doom

Oh my beautiful Daughters
what have you done to the men of the Earth,
turning the roar of men's' love into notes of shame and whispers,
discoloring the gallant glow of trust with untempered lust for popular worth,

I made you to be embodiment of something sacred,
a steadfast source of Divine sincerity in the chaos of Man's struggle to be heroic,
to soothe and inspire His hope for honor, to be the hand he could hold in the tremor of dread,
in the Begining you did this much and more, exceeded the seed of my dream, making Them historic,

But you, my remorseless and rabid Girls
sought to be worshiped as a cult of marauding maidens of madness,
a horde of haughty harpies wanting glory your own, thrones tailored from supine bones,
pleasured as predators of Princes and paupers
saddistic seducers of troubadours and savants,
making " high minded " heros helpless on the cliffs of your thrills,

Oh my ravenous Daughters what have you done to the hearts of men,
what have you become with speared touch and rough laughter,
warm in love sport and cold in lip lies,
the Furies have your fame and faces framed in black flame
the day is soon when your beauty will become ashen, charms unmet with passion,
and the Furies will befriend you
adorn with thorned fashion, feed you a vulture's ration,

Nemesis is on your terrible trail of predatory travail
She to unveil the wail of your reward's gale,
my lovely Princesses, my girls of gnarled gain
a wind storm of lovers' cries flies towards you
a punishment Holy in it's honor and horrible in It's hit,
bite you shall, sixfold from Humility's tit -

This Middle Rung

In ignorance, bliss!
This bottom rung,
we speak as we choose
and that gets the job done.

Yes, ignorance mired
in language unkempt-
the parlance of paupers,
ill-regarded, undreamt.

In tolerance, wise!
This highest rung-
we speak as the learned
and get the job done.

Where lofty words sing
amidst high-minded mind-
the old tongues of conflict,
new tongues now refine.

In limbo, angst!
This middle rung-
the higher won't save us,
the lower we shun.

Just enough rope payed out,
just enough slack-
For me and Pygmalion
to launch our attack.

Tree Man

I don’t take a buzz saw up a tree, no never,
I take a hand saw, it’s safer;
and it’s clear, right up to the sighs of the
intense, crafty-blue sky;
no pressing customers, no G-men,
no pressured decision making, just me
and the blue sky

and I’ve got all the gear, the goggles, the harness,
the hard hat, the special skin-sheltering gloves;
and between the scalded branches and falling
bird’s-nests, I can see the chicks pass by below,
on the cement-tickled street; and their high-minded
heels, and delectable, swaying boughs, say high-di-high!

shameful! you whisper; I know, I know.

An Angelic human, helpful host
Hopeful, heavenly holy host,

An Angelic horrible, heavy host
Kicked down from heaven fell to earth
Beautiful he was Satan-Lucifer
This handsome horrid, hyper host
This hateful Angelic high minded host
I Saw an Angelic hilarious, hyperactive host fall from grace
Landing on this world of hate
Yes, he was kick out of grace, landing fast and hard on his face
I Saw an Angelic hungry, hot host
I Saw the Angelic angel with the lost

The Cynic

There are those who walk among us
materialistically inclined
Their hearts are solely focused
on what they'll leave behind

..prized possessions..properties..
..money in the banks..
..vehicles and commodities..
..attaining higher ranks..

They never give a word or thought
to disadvantaged others
They never see the battles fought
by desperate, homeless brothers

Yet while their pools are full of water
someone's thirst goes unquenched
While they offer no food nor shelter
someone hungers and is drenched

Chandeliers they blaze at night
their neighbours to impress
while some child squints by candlelight
his tender heart much stressed

When will the rich feel sympathy
for those less fortunate
Can they feel an empathy
for one subordinate

I thank God for all the meekness
He has put into my soul
Some may say it's weakness
but I say it's foretold

That some of us will have no fear
to speak out for what's right
That some of us will have no care
for gold nor silver bright

That we can warn our rich and proud
to share, not hoard their treasure
for the cries of hell will sound so loud
when they see how God his people measure...

1 Tim 6:17-19: Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not high-minded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the Living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate; laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

K963: perukkaththu veendum panithal  siriya
            surukkaththu veendum uyaavu

Bow down thy soul, with increase blest, in happy hour;
Lift up thy heart, when stript of all by fortune's power. (Transl. G.U.Pope)
In great prosperity humility is becoming; dignity, in great adversity. (Transl. Drew & Lazarus)-

When life bestows upon you fortune, be humble;
when life by-passes you, maintain still your dignity.* (Transl. T. Wignesan)

K964: thalaiyin ilinththa mayir anaiyaa maanthar
            nilaiyin ilinththak kadai

Like hairs from off the head that fall to earth,
When fall'n from high estate are men of noble birth. (Transl. G.U. Pope)
They who have fallen from their (high) position are like the hair which has fallen from the head. (Transl. Drew & Lazarus)

Just as strands from the scalp wilt, so do those from exalted positions fall to the lowliest depths. (Transl. T. Wignesan)

 K969: mayirniippin vaalaak kavarimaa annaar
            uyirniippar maanam varin

Like the wild ox that, of its tuft bereft, will pine away,
Are those who, of their honour shorn, will quit the light of day. (Transl. G.U. Pope)
Those who give up (their) life when (their) honour is at stake are like the yark [sic] which kills itself at the loss of (even one of) its hairs. (Transl. Drew & Lazarus)

Much as the kavarimaan* would lay its life down for good should one strand of its hair be shed, so should the high-minded whose honour is called into question. (Transl. T. Wignesan)

They Wonder

They wonder why my soul is intertwined with hers!
They ponder why my eyes embrace hers!
They ask why I love her as birds love migrating!
They ask why I love her as deserts’ sands love raining!
They ask why my love for her is high peaks
Whereas everything else is but slopes!
They ask why my love for her is the sweetest fate!
They ask why I see her prettier than all flowers!
They keep asking, wondering and pondering
 I reply, respond, reiterate and state
O, people!
I do love her because she possesses these characteristics
She is the ….
Original, elegant & tender;
Innocent, exquisite & adorable;
Beautiful, attractive & gorgeous;
Sensitive, delicate & gentle;
Ethical, faithful & honorable;
Amazing, marvelous & intelligent;
Sophisticated, satisfied & wonderful;
Moralistic, brilliant & high-minded;
Delightful, devotee & amiable;
Decent, transparent & thankful;
Honest, benevolent & obedient;
I do love her because she represents chastity;
She is the enthusiast & sweet worshipper;
The valuable, priceless & enchanting queen;
The unique, matchless & charming knight;
The appreciative, grateful & contented moon;
The perfect, treasurable & precious pearl;
The cute, scintillating & courteous treasure;
The distinguished, eminent & privileged angel;
The rare, exceptional & noble star;
The magnanimous, altruist & dexterous artist
The blooming, flourishing & confident rose;
The watchful, soothing & pacific dove.

Long Live the Queen

long live the queen
her robe so long indeed
it took a long time to make

your highness my queen
how high her seat only
the high minded can fit

her majesty my queen
my cap fell off my head in prostration
oh i didn't mean to be funny

please my queen
my knees wear out my trousers
i only beg for my right

how beautiful the queen is
could it be mockery?
even if, you cant tell her to her face
it's worse than treachery

my queen wears a diamond
she may know the price but not the value
i can bet it true
she had never dug the mines

i love my queen
don't misunderstand me, i meant just love
you know what i mean.

Premium Member Crayon Box Dreams

Yellow, happy dreams gone up in argon
Dancing dreams in laced clouds rained down to earth
White lights which give darkness a come-on
Youth's dreams, high-minded dreams what were they worth

Sometimes sleep comes upon an aging body
Resting in afternoon's sun-filled room
Wrinkles exposed don't match the clothes shoddy
Just for a rose-colored visit he said then vroom

If only he could have lived up to those dreams
If only he hadn't drunk the first drop
His life could have been filled with rainbow streams
My sun-filled room wouldn't be his last stop

Crayon box dreams can become reality
He passed while I made our afternoon tea
