Would Be Healer

Healer
Now and then I lose someone,
My friends with cancer I have some.
I see each cancer green then gold ,
To make it healthy I am told.

I ask the lord and see his face,
Ask to kill the cancer ,
Karma erase.
I ask the lord and see his face,
My toothache stops without a trace! TRY IT

I see his face I shudder then,
Ask and hope to help a friend.
Time marches on I get saddened by,
The ones I lose to Karma’s eye.

My health is great which is so strange,
My friends so sick I share their pain, ALWAYS HAVE PAIN FOR A DAY ONLY
Sometimes from my lips they slip,
Black spots upon the ceiling grip?

Solitary I remain,
to ask the Lord,
To Ease the pain,
To see his face,
he does exist,
Would be healer,
I’m on no list

Don Johnson

How we are manipulated to do healing by the other side of the veil
I was using the magic/psychic/witch method of visualisation,
to see someone healthier. Or sicker in black magic.
Then I got tempted to try the Asking and seeing Christ to heal,
which happened immediately on my 30 years hayfever virus... Gone???

Faith healer coming down the road.
Faith healer healing young and old.
Faith healer in case you haven't heard ....
Heals everybody at the mention of God's word.

Faith healer touch me I pray.
Faith healer touch me today.
Touch my body and make me whole....
Faith healer touch me before you go.

Touch my Brother and my Sister too.
Touch everybody that's all you have to do.
Heal the blind the sick and the lame.....
Heal everybody at the mention of God's name.

Now if you see the Faith Healer coming your way.
Get down on your knees and start to pray.
Praise be to Jesus this very day.....
For sending this Faith Healing man our way.

Faith Healer touch me I pray.
Faith Healer touch me today.
Touch my body and make me whole.....
Faith Healer touch me before you go.

Faith Healer coming down the road .......... FADE

LOVE OUR HEALER

Love,
Panacea of all ills,
Healer of every wound,
Obliterator of hate,
Your fortitude
Bestow upon every heart
So
Possible would it be, for all
Of us,
To safeguard our fate!

There was something odd about this stranger
She called herself a holistic healer
But truly there was nothing “holy” about her

“Bring me an eye of a young newt,” she said
“Two toads that haven’t recently been fed
Be sure to include a Vampire Bat’s head”

“But I just have a problem sleeping in bed;
Shouldn’t I drink chamomile tea instead?”
The scowl she offered filled me with great dread

“You asked for my help; do you really want it?
You risk seeing your name in an obit.”
She scared me to action, I must admit

It took some work, but when I returned
Over to her all her requests I turned
Thinking a cure I must surely have earned

“Ah,” she said wickedly, “thank you, my dear.”
She handed me chamomile tea in good cheer
So I asked why she’d made requests so *****

“Stick around, you’ve more problems than you know
I have to treat that scaly patch that grows
From the top of your head down to your toes”

Ran out, I did, pledged never to come back
Saw in a mirror skin flaking and black
Vowed to find a doctor who’s not a quack!

The newt, toads and bat caused this reaction
Now I needed a full skin extraction
Paid a real doc big bucks for satisfaction

The old faith healer carefully got things ready.
She had spring water collected from the source
that had been taken at the night of the new moon.
Some special herbs also gathered by moonlight.

Setting the pebbles in a circle on the cleared earth.
She lights a small fire in its heart and feeds it.
Once it is burning bright, she shakes out some of the herbs
adding them to the spring water, then patiently waits.

When the moon appears she busily goes to work,
a pinch of liverwort, some ground sunflowers.
Tansy and dried apple, a bit of spiders web,
she places the pot on the fire and stirs.

First three stirs clockwise, now two anti three more clockwise.
Chanting softly as she stirs the simmering brew.
Now adding crushed primrose and burdock, she stirs.
Then she lays it in the moonlight waiting for dark.

Once the moon slides from sight, she pours it into a vessel
and caps it tight. Shrugging back her hood she gathers all.
Now it is time for it to sit and infuse before it is time for use.
Her fame is renown, the kingdom wide, many are they who seek her.

She blesses the potion first with Mut, then calls on Pax,
finally she invokes Serena's help, finally done,
she sets it in a ray of moonlight leaving it for now.
It is time for the cleansing of her patients before they drink it.

The following day miraculous recoveries by them all.
Singing her praises they try to cross her hand with silver.
Gently she shakes her head, not for money is her gift.
Freely she shares it, for the goddesses gave her the healing gift.

Mut is the goddess of nature mother earth.
Pax is the goddess of peace.
Serena is the goddess of healing.

Traditional Healer

Sometimes I cannot sleep
In the abyss of my stomach
My muscles weep
My gut sinks and falls deep
Into the ashes of my sadness
And I hear that feeling creep
Crawling eight legged, without leaps
And tells me to be still. No emotion
Frozen. The visuals appear
And I see my preoccupation
With death, play itself out
I feel the asphyxiation, the nausea and pain
I see the blood, in slow motion again
Droplets sprinkle through the sky
And plaster across my face
Is this my destiny? Or has the psyche been misplaced
Mistaken for the wise one, sagacious
Present African Swiss presented ancesterous
Dimensions that exit the premise of this world
Float in saltwater, captured in bottles, blurred
Am I jumping to endings, pretending
That if I were chosen, I would be understanding?
Why am I fascinated by her at night?
In the darkness I am entertained, more than in fright
I call them all, but they lack sight
Because when I can see it
Those on earth call it foresight.

The Healer

She wanted to lock herself away
and question her world view,
she wanted to cry out the pain
and scream at the world too.

Like her tears the rain had come
coming from all around,
here she was, suffering,
and no one hears a sound.

She began to line herself with marks,
like her pain that would stay awhile.
All her joy had slipped away
with nothing left to make her smile.

She stashed away her healer
to save for another rainy day,
the clouds began to move again
and slowly faded away.

The History of the Wounded Healer

My arms bear a map of the path
from invisible to insane.
I've walked these roads for decades.
I'm still exactly the same.
I'm a four year old girl,
with fourteen year old thoughts
in a twenty-four year old body.
My scars are a record of desperation and bad decisions.
My skin makes the pages of a book I'd rather not read anymore.
That little girl's keloid thoughts are spells
that take me far away,
but never anywhere pleasant.
I still trace that Braille on days when I stumble into darkness.
But, most days, I wear long sleeves and preach self-love to strangers.

*This is a dedication to my favourite actor, Ji Chang Wook, a versatile Korean actor and singer. I'll watch almost anything he stars in.

EXPLANATION OF REFERENCES IN POEM:

Hanguk is the Korean name of the country. Koreans make a heart sign on their face with their hands, which is half a heart. "Healer" is a drama he acts in as is "Samdal-ri". He's a brand ambassador for Rado watches. He has an amazing voice and the reference to how it melts is a nod to his "Melting Me Softly" drama.

The Healer Part V (From My Life Story)

My children are all grown and have gone to seek their own lives. Since that time on different
occasions, I had two very close friends show me their warts and tell me how they've worn
them since the age of five. They didin't even know each other. I listened very carefully
while
each told all they've tried and how they wished to be rid of them. One of my friends even
cried. And then I told them the story of the Spirit of the Healer Ms Agnes as I held their
hands in mine. When I said, "maybe. Just maybe there's enough of the Spirit of The Healer
Ms Agnes left in there for you too", Not wanting to give false hope I added, "it may not
work
it's been such a long time".

Many moons went by before I saw those two friends again. But the first thing they wanted to
tell me was that they awoke with their warts in their bed and to offer me thanks. "No thanks
goes to me" said I. "It's all the Spirit of The Healer Ms Agnes who comes to make the warts
go away. I am merely a vessel" I said, as I hugged them goodbye.

He had the best of friends,
they love him so much to take a risk
But they could not heal his palsy,
So paralyzed that he could not use his feet ,
A crowd thronged around the Master in that enclosure,
They uncover the roof to get their friends to Him
The King of mercy full of compassion,
set him free from sin and made him whole.

“Let us pass to the other side”
when He says it, it must be done,
Not the wind can stop the King,
He orders the events of Life,
He was resting or controlling other events in sleep,
In the ship they were perplexed as we all sometimes be
Then one remembers the King of Mercy,
carest thou not that we perish? He inquired
“Peace Be still”
The command that calm the storm.

She bled for 12 Years and suffered so much,
No sooner she sat the drench and wet clothes brings shame,
The husband was no where near,
Families are wearied accepting fate
The King of Mercy was passing bye.
“If i but touch the helm of his garment”
Faith sprung for one more help,
The King of mercy saw her from the celestial realm.
She stole the virtue with her faith
And there were more for others there.

Though the subject were slow to Learn
Send them away with their needs
But mercy would not oblige carnality
“Make them seat” said the King of mercy ,
There were thousand bowels looking up
And he Fed them all as He does all men.

The King of Mercy Bids you come
He waits so long to meet your needs
let not your doubts keep you away,
He gave himself to give you all.
Look up His cross, his Blood and Live

Premium Member My Rescuer

I thought you'd be the one to come and save
To rescue me from mouth of open grave
I thought you'd be the one to hear my cries
The one to gently wipe tears from my eyes

I thought I'd find salvation in your arms
My refuge from life's troubles and alarms
I thought you'd breathe in me the breath of life
Revive my heart that's dying due to strife

I thought you cared enough to come for me
To kill the dragons, changing destiny
l thought your love would be my guiding light
My soothing comfort in the darkest night

My thoughts and wishes centered all on you
The dawn of every day brought hope anew,
for surely I would live to see your face
And be held tightly in your warm embrace

I waited, watched, and prayed for you to come
To bring a clarity to mind gone numb
The minutes, hours, days dragged slowly by
It seems you did not hear my burdened sigh

You did not come; he came to me instead
His shoulder was the place for weary head
His arms embraced me when I lost my ground
Without his strength, I know I would have drowned

He reassures me that he'll never leave
He holds me tight when others make me grieve
My body he adores with pilgrim hands
and over all my wants, he has command

He intimately knows my every need
His love for me is one you can't exceed
He'd give his life for me; I know it's true
My foolish heart no longer yearns for you

No longer... no, no longer will I wait
My rescuer has shown my heaven's gate
When he makes love to me, I'm free to soar
My eyes see only him and nothing more

You come to claim regret won't let you be,
but I have found a love that's meant for me
My worth and strength of love you could not feel
Upon my heart you'll find my lover's seal
