"Healer" vibe* Chang Wook tribe Every move Brings crazy hype Samdal-ri* You and me Every girl's Sweet fantasy Switzerland Take my hand RADO tour* Pose on demand How they swoon song or tune Voice that melts* Takes to the moon Liquid eyes My demise Luscious lips Under disguise Listen here Don't come near If you're caught Be filled with fear Squeeze you tight Treat you right Korea's star You're dynamite Eileen Manassian Ghali *This is a dedication to my favourite actor, Ji Chang Wook, a versatile Korean actor and singer. I'll watch almost anything he stars in. EXPLANATION OF REFERENCES IN POEM: Hanguk is the Korean name of the country. Koreans make a heart sign on their face with their hands, which is half a heart. "Healer" is a drama he acts in as is "Samdal-ri". He's a brand ambassador for Rado watches. He has an amazing voice and the reference to how it melts is a nod to his "Melting Me Softly" drama.

Life has become difficult for me lately. I'm disillusioned with the world. I wouldn't mind leaving it. That's why I live through story lines of favourite dramas I enjoy. It's an escape mechanism.

You're missing out on a lot! Right now I'm watching "If You Wish Upon Me". It is about a hospice and a group that fulfill the dying wishes of the patients. Ji Chang Wook is a troubled ex-con who has to do community service and he ends going to this place. It is a story about death, love, healing, and the desire to live life to the fullest. Yes, I'm a die hard fan. I have to survive as well. Hugs

I can see you infatuation for the actor.. I have seen some K movies and a lot of K dramas but never come across him... I really enjoyed your poem..

K-dramas are where I go to unwind... my happy place, and with all I'm going through lately, I certainly need an escape mechanism. I like the fact that they are not explicit and have great values... for the most part. Ji Chang Wook is phenomenal. Just wanted to pay him tribute in a humorous way. Thank you for your comment.
