Best Guilted Poems

The Cross of Destiny

Three crosses stood still that faithful day
As the skies sadly wept a guilted grey
On the highest hill they would be seen
By Roman ruled eyes that did demean

The middle cross covered in rustic red
Where the calamitous Christ’s blood sacrificed shed
The lachrymal lamb dies for our shameless sins
As the whispering winds wind and the sky dims

The christened cross made thus Divine
For the Christ awaits Ascension to His Holy shrine
The weathered wood of dogmatic Destiny
Dexterously dismantled while bereaving blessedly

The Christ carefully put in a timeless tomb
With His Loving Light creates a new womb.

A Happy Easter
From (:^WW^:)

Comes the Night

Comes the night with a residual rampant roar
As the shadows swallow the remaining light
For death documents it final scurrilous score
And breaths are barred from taking flight

Sequestered sight with a vanishing view
The sandman serves his final daunting dream
Vanquishing vaporous veils are long overdue
A sabbatical sleep thru a scriptural stream

In paralytic phantom plight of nevermore
The sky cascades with a galling guilted gray
The soul journeys thru a celestial shore
As we float fallaciously on such a winters day.

When I Close My Eyes

Night Whispers in my ear, promising sweet

Dreams from another world. My eyes lidded

With wonder of images that aren't complete.

My consciousness blurs, I scrunch up my feet.

Dream realm returns, I enter it timid.

Night whispers in my ear, promising. Sweet

Melodies drift down a rain ridden street.

Colors explode to make the dull gilded.

I wonder of images that aren't complete.

I dream in color that's full of deceit,

My journey confused but benefited

Night. Whispers in my ear, promising sweet

Souls of good fortune. The spell obsolete,

Slips off my mind. The day then comes guilted,

I linger with images that aren't complete.

Startling gold sun begins to reach its peak,

But my mind is in bed, dreaming tinted.

Night whispers in my ear, promising sweet

Wonder of images that now are complete.

Faceless Fear

Faceless Fear

Inside of me there haunts to be, a pain that never seems to go away,
Within a darkened room, of a dismal day...
Hell compounds and will confounds, my demons come out to play,
Within a darkened tomb, I faintly pray...
Help me, Lord, for I’ve cut the cord, my shifting spirit has gone astray,
A fateless fetus fume, the unborn made of clay...
Wasted years of tormented tears, progressions of my punitive pay,
Within a woeful womb, a distant dormant stray...

For fear has no face only a place, in my mind a weighted weigh,
A deceitful doom, within a guilted gray...
The fear of losing love with a shattered shove, an enigmatic inveigh,
Where the Jackals loom, a wandering decay...
The fear of losing mind only to blind the only thoughts that I portray,
Thus my fear abloom, a bereaved bouquet...
A faceless fear my soul to steer, the inner wounds need to convey,
In my darkened room of my dismal day.

As His Loving Light created a newly found womb.

Two Things You Never Talk About At Work---Politics and Religion

Things might just turn out alright...

Long as we own the ability to see through political "solutions" and recognize
propaganda.

Things might not be so bad...

With so many people waking up to see that following is not the only way.
AND
Ideology can be toxic.
Why not take back your mind, at such a dark turning point?
Or not, but do what it is that you need to do,
besides simply obey,
give up and say,
"Why have a brain when I can have ideology?
If in your gut, you know organized religion is a business
that is an insult to the gift of human free thinking...
DON'T BE GUILTED INTO DOING IT,
or become self selected for gullibility.

Things may still go sour if we...
adopt a religion that fits our lifestyle,
and suddenly,
BAM! We've got all the answers,
just refer to the catechisms,
to seek and destroy, and banish to hell, the non-believers.
Call them names if they do not convert to your way of living,
your way of thinking,
your way of happiness.
Refer to them as lowly atheists, Exibit A: "Who not to be."

But atheist, don't you dare whisper a bad word of the "good book",
written for man,
written by man,
or rather by invisible god,
no one has physically met.

I Say,
If you feel god is real, and
You love and need religion,
Do it Fluid like a Stonehenge Druid!
Have faith and walk with the Lord!
Please, please, do not judge those who do not choose to think as you do.

There are better things in life than arguing
politics and religion,
the two grandest forms of division in the world!

And there are two things you never talk about at work,
Religion and Politics.

You Broke My Heart-'Hibernal Heart'

Hibernal Heart

Yes youthful yesterday a kindred King and Queen
Till today a dust full death within a daunting dream
Oh sweet tomorrow awake before the rising sun
For tonight my heart hinders, alas I have no one

My passion remains passive and your poison permeates
As your lingering lucifugous love shuts the guilted gates
I've not any decorative diamonds nor ranting relishing rings
All I have left is a lamenting love that sadly silently sings.

You Broke My Heart ... Contest

Tears of Yesterday

You were beautiful, sweet, kind;
Reassuring of your conviction.
Trepidation ringing in my mind
I focused on your profession.

I tried us both to cajole, convince,
If I showed you a kingdom of gold,
I could be your shining prince,
And watch our dreams unfold.

I searched, struggled, and drove
For panacea elusive; bejeweled.
An intricate and faulty tale I wove
Over the crumbling house I ruled.

Sadly, little did I realize
Instead of rescuing, enriching;
Never grasping the real prize,
My illusion was more bewitching.

So, instead of bliss replete
A nightmare invaded my slumber.
Expectation gave way to defeat
For reality had my number.

Tired and mangled, you were
Crying out in emotive agony.
I awoke from my awful stupor
Not your man but your enemy!

Grief, overwhelming and fierce.
My eyes burning with tears,
Sorrow my heart did pierce,
Knowing I epitomized my fears.

"I never loved you, Mistake.
I am alive. You’re dead.
No more hopes; they’re fake.
Just like us and our bed!"

"You hurt me and used me.
Oh, now it’s my turn!
Today, from you I’m free.
So let your feelings burn!”

Your words cut us asunder
Or were we ever together?
Spells of lies we were under.
Lo, simply a fate-less ether.

Yes, you meant to leave me.
Had your commitment waned?
Maybe you never meant "we?"
Well, your love is no longer feigned.

Now, I stand alone again;
Scarred, bruised but not beaten.
Not solo, with a true Friend;
Forbidden fruit not eaten.

With no earthly fortune; a pauper,
But heavenly royalty in the making.
I’m a healing man and proper
With faith and love not shaking.

True love is never fleeting.
Grace and truth aren't blind.
Commitment without entreating,
Two souls can forever bind.

One day fast approaching
I will be someone’s knight again.
Without shame's reproaching,
She will love me in the end.

So, goodbye my love jilted.
Peace and blessings to you.
By your memory no longer guilted,
My journey with you is through.

Tomorrow a new day dawns
With all promise abundantly.
Such excitement it spawns
Wrapped in splendored panoply.

Closed Doors

It wasn't right, treating us the way you did.
Just because you could,
And I, the only one who stood up to you,
Not that it did me any good.

You guilted me out of hobbies,
How dare I "waste our money,"
And when I took up cheerleading,
Oh, how you thought that was funny.

Instantly, I became a "snob".
You never failed, to call me names.
Part of your manipulation.
A favorite, of your games.

People call me "cold hearted"
Because I completely shut the door.
But I refuse to let your emotional abuse,
Control me anymore.

The Cycle 4: God

Another age passes unmeasured.
Giant calms; in placid time waking
guilted warmth irradiates. Unbroken
calm aether heralds the next age.
Past embers cooled in God’s eye,
forgiveness of imagined betrayal.
But the turning cycle weighs not
amassed sincerity; the matter of energy.
Unworthy, may be, the ruling Giant
ignoble reign birthed in fiery crucible,
ordained; inevitable is the beginning
Settled worlds worship, at last.
Seen, finally, upon the black vista
The Giant illuminated;
Burning passions turning close,
always facing God’s blazing glare.
Hopeful siblings stand centre, balanced
desperation or absence awaiting
calm waters. Vulnerable to the cycle.
Even distant wretched flock see warmth,
icy hearts melt; lingering love bequeathed
of their noble giant.
Their Mighty God.

Until There Was You

Wade through the water, and kiss my tears. Hold me not in your arms, but in your
heart. I fear that time has left me behind somewhere in fate. I long only to know
him, and drown in his darking soul.

I once walked alone in the face of shame. My sin followed me like a black cloud on a
rainy day. I cried out mercifully, begging for true forgivness. Who would hear my cry,
who should know my pain? I wish I could say love lifted me high, but love only spit
on me, and left me here to die. Swimming in a sea of emotion, giving my all showing
great devotion.

The words still hanging in the sky, as he kissed my lips and told me good-bye. All I
had left now was my rage, my gaurd was back up; my heart locked in a cage. I felt
as if there would never again be light, till someone else touched me and granted
back the sight.

Blinded by lust, and guilted through pain. I vowed last year I wouldn't love like that
again. Do these words, though, we ever speak come true? I thought I would stick to
my vow forever, until there was you.

No Stone Unturned

When Love explodes with flexuous faces
No stone unturned as it defiantly displaces
Sanctimonious skies fill the abrasive air
As Love rambunctiously roams trying to pair

Sweet little lies become matriarchal mountains
As we throw our Love from fallacious fountains

In Love we beg we borrow and steal
In truth we hide and contiguously conceal
Emotions unleashed through guilted gates
For Love is no better than the one it hates.

Sweet little lies...Contest by Silent One

Georgia Hermitage

Georgia has mild Cerebral Palsy,
And was loved by her PE teacher,
At George Abbot School friendly,
But didn’t then become a runner.

The 2012 Paras got to her heart,
Guilted her with school memories
And also she wanted to impart,
A legacy to her daughter, victories.

So she started to train for real,
For disability sport’s events to win,
And did very well at Fazaa’s wheel:
She won gold in the 100 metres fin.

Doha came next in 2015, Worlds,
And she knocked the socks off,
When she won two proud golds,
For the 400m and the relay trough.

In Grosseto, Italy, at the Euros,
She swiped the boards in bliss,
With a 100, 200 and 400m pose,
Also for the relay: golds to kiss.

Georgia was the golden girl,
At Rio de Janeiro for Britain,
When she solidified their place,
As 2nd on the boards’ plane.

She won top spot for the 100m,
In the T37 classification grade,
And for the 4x100m relay blethers,
She came 2nd, herself to wade.

Her tears of joy and happiness,
Filled our screens and our TVs,
To show us meaning no less -
The worth of sporting activities.

In pride she boldly celebrated,
But she was called a cheat,
So she just to physio pointed,
And to her work ethic beat.

To My Estranged Mother from a Hurt Daughter

Mom, I am sorry.
I am sorry I did not call you.
I am sorry I did not text.
I am sorry I cannot have a relationship with you for what you call my “selfish reasons.”

Mom, I miss you, but I cannot talk to you.
Every time I reached out to you, I thought you would be better, and every time,?you?let me down.
Maybe it is me, I should lower my expectations.
You never could stay sober though; you made promises you knew you could not keep.

You told me you were doing better, but you lied and lied.

It's almost like you don't want to be sober. As if you prefer being alone.
Like you choose to not want to go to graduations and birthday parties.

I am so tired of being the girl who cries for you,
I am so tired of pretending I am fine,
I am so tired of faking a smile, even though everything you do is killing me from the inside out.

You always expected me to take your side.
I was expected to clean up your messes at ten years old.
You were supposed to be my adult, my best friend, my protector. I had to be that for myself.
You failed me.
I was too young to keep up with you. I was too young to be an adult.
I was yelled at and guilted when I told you how I felt.
You were so focused on yourself and your pain that you forgot about me. I was hurting too.

Mom, I love you, but it hurts.
It hurts to watch your life crumble and not be able to do anything about it.
It hurts to watch you hurt yourself.
It hurts to know that you are hurting.
It hurts to look back and remember the good times when they were spoiled by all the bad.

Momma, I miss you, but I do not miss the current you.
I miss the you that was there for me.
The you that encouraged me.
I miss the you who would cook for me and take care of me when I was sick,
The you that was my mother.

Mom, I miss you, I love you, I am sorry.

What More Could I Give

Sometimes, I look back,
Remember all those times,
When you didn’t always care about me,
Or appreciate me.
I think about how much I sacrificed,
Just to make you happy,
And how you didn’t give anything.
You didn’t make enough tribute.
I wonder if that was the reason you left.
Did I do something wrong?
Did I not give you enough?
If I couldn’t give you everything,
What more could I give,
To keep you satisfied?
Even though I sacrificed all I could,
You always wanted more from me.
You guilted me for something stupid,
And I realized that maybe,
Just maybe it was all over,
Our relationship,
Or what we thought was real,
Maybe it was never real…
