Premium Member Whispers Guide Me

Whispers of my soul,
Guide me through this night,
A hidden diamond shines whole,
In this inner fight.

Light dances on my dreams,
Stars twinkle in my eyes,
The spirit gleams and beams,
As dawn begins to rise.

Will this day contain
All the magic of my prime
Though the old body remains
Can the brain reveal the rhyme

Premium Member Rainbow Forest Maiden

Rainbow Forest

Indian maiden, resting on the verdant, grassy, shore.
White leather, beaded dress.
In moccasins, does dream, she would confess, longing
for my happiness.
For now, dreams of days of serenity galore!

She,of unknown beauty, does not know.
Of how lovely, she is, truly as gorgeous as the
diamondesque sparkling stream.
She, was created of glistening metallic dreams.
As an ultramarine light show.

Amazing Star is her name, in this universe aglow.
She of ebonied, flowing hair like a waterfall dream.
She is my Spirit Guide in the land of peaceful, moonbeams.
I meet with her, and other animals, who seem to flow.
Oh, a most fulfilling, flute filled show!

The Class Guide

Me....,
a shy ..,
 and
bashful guy
always kept me.,
confined to last bench..
down my head,
huddled heart ,
blenched my breathes and
arms always clenched..

Staring with a thief eye
to each one
around me
but confrontation
was not my forte .,
this fragility always
kept me away
from my very interest
and invariably
was a thwart ..

New day in the class,
New teachers and
Classmates too.,
but for me
each day was new
and each one., who?

Newly painted class
curtained each side .,
The Teacher announces
our new class guide...

In actual fact
I wasn't a beauty gaper .,
but this time
she forced me too sharper...
hardly I lavished my time
in any admiration..,
but this would give,
drive to my contemplation..,
breaking the ice to her
difficult and caffeine beauty
eyes were clear and watered ,
lips were glossy and frooty..

Tallest and
her collar in the same way.,
I stared alot but
kept her eye away..
walk like breeze
silent and cool
smile like blooming lily.,
none of her company
can stand by her
she was the perfect dilly..

Crowd would stop
while she starts
mostly buring in vex.,
she wants pin drop silence
 in the class .,otherwise,
 bitter pills to suspects..

The same rain
I got whole year .,
Whole year
I got ,
teacher will start ,
we all will set ,
and I will get lost .,
The last day of
this beautiful phase
I was loosing carelessly.,
No courage,
No rescue ,
The day cutting readily ..

God miracle or
some boon ,
when she came ,
in her black shoon..,
shrinking and shy
asked me a favour.,
Reaching to the seventh heaven
I started quiver..

Yea....Yea ....
I did it
and then asked my will...

Very courageous.,
honestly it was
to utter such word.,
but......,I knew
It was the
last chance
and never again for
me.....,
such a coward..

So....I did
did it fast.
listening it....,
she got locked.
'No Words'
 she said
but I .....,
I did it.
did it.
Yea...,
I do.

                                                                                                by-Shagun

My Spirit Guide

Oh watchful Owl,
My spirit guide,
Help me to look
Deep inside.

Within my darkness
Give me might,
Patiently observe,
Wrong from right.

Guide me through
Our wondrous land,
In silence
Help me understand.

Give me your eyes
To seek what's real,
Attain true love,
That I can feel.

Help to rid me
Of destructive ties,
Guide me to be
Forever wise.

Your ancient wisdom
Please impart,
Forever reside
Within my heart.

And when I'm ready,
Teach me to fly,
Spread my wings
Toward the sky.

"Dark-heaving . . . boundless, endless, and sublime . . ."
Lord Byron 1788-1824
_____________________

I am the wordsmith, guide and editor of this narrative,
this epic chronicle and story of abysmal dream love;
my fingers are ink-stained and worn from writing,
this account of my journey is both tragic and dreadful;
it is a ghost story both poetic and darkly painful.

I awoke one night to find a gossamer shape watching,
it was vague, misty and hovered vapor-like;
the form soon became a phantasmal beautiful man,
ethereal and cloud-born, unworldly and spiritual;
he floated about my bed whispering my name endlessly.

His face was noble with a smile dazzling,
fathomless eyes made me feel so calm and wanted;
when he reached for me I felt glorious and filled with love,
his touch was sublime and he whispered I was his;
at that moment- I was whirling into darkness.

I gasped and realized his skin was corpse-like cold,
oh, was he the spirit of a dead man-  an apparition;
a ghostly shadow come the take me to some deathly destination,
but when the specter spoke it was like a warm wave;
washing over my soul and I found my arms embracing him.

All night I lay in his celestial strong arms kissing his lips,
it felt both heavenly and decaying and I had to escape;
I had to leave this divine desire- and this beautiful man,
so with all my strength I pushed, pushed him away;
and his arms became threadlike reaching out for me, reaching.

I woke in the morning in my bed with sun shining brightly,
but my blankets and feet were grave stained with mud;
and I fell back weeping for this love boundless, and endless.

Guide Me - Prayer

“Thou shalt guide me with Thy counsel,
and afterwards receive me to glory.” Psa 55:22

Lord I seek your guidance
For your counsel is sure
Show me Your will
May my transgressions be fewer
Your guidance is necessary
And Your counsel essential
For me to see your glory
To reach my full potential
Of myself I have no power
So I daily beseech
The guidance and counsel
You willingly teach

I am not always as surrendered
As you want me to be
To prepare me for glory
With a powerful testimony
Give me the courage
To show others the way
Share your wise counsel
To those gone astray
Let them know that works
Will never suffice
That’s why You made
The ultimate sacrifice

Your promise of glory
I want dearly to share
With my brothers and sisters
I want to be there
Please God make them willing
To hear Your words
See the guidance and counsel
That your glory affords
We are but helpless
In our human plight
Give us your wise counsel
Eyes wide open for your great insight.

Faith - a Guiding Light

In the realm of life, where shadows dance,
There exists a force, a divine expanse,
A beacon of light, through darkest night,
A flame that flickers, ever burning bright.

Faith, the compass of the wandering soul,
Guiding our steps towards an unknown goal,
It whispers softly, in the depths of our being,
A melody of hope, forever freeing.

In times of doubt, when storms rage on,
Faith stands steadfast, a foundation strong,
Like roots of a tree, deeply embedded,
It keeps us grounded, our spirits uplifted.

When paths diverge, and choices confound,
Faith illuminates, a path can be found,
It unveils possibilities, where none seem clear,
And wipes away the stains of doubt and fear.

With every setback, every tear that falls,
Faith mends our wounds, mends broken walls,
It mends shattered hearts, and heals the scars,
Rebuilding strength, like a thousand shining stars.

Faith intertwines, connecting hearts and minds,
A thread of unity, that forever binds,
It transcends borders, and bridges divides,
Uniting humanity, where love abides.

In the darkest valleys, where shadows loom,
Faith is the lantern, dispelling all gloom,
It offers solace, a glimmer of light,
A resolute belief, that all will be right.

So let us embrace, this gift so profound,
Let faith be our anchor, when we're unbound,
In its embrace, we find strength anew,
A timeless beacon, forever true.

In the tapestry of life, faith weaves its thread,
A symphony of hope, through which we're led,
With open hearts, let us cherish and believe,
For in faith's embrace, miracles we receive.

My Poetry Book contains poems about love, family, pets, faith, humor, children, grandsons,
and analogy..My favorite poem in my Poetry Book is in Senryu Form and reads as follows:

.
                                         My love for mankind
                                     Is burning fire when alone
                                       Then I leave my home

May God Guide My Faith

I desire to live a pain free life,
I'm ever expectant for a brighter day,
So I put my hope in goodness alone.
I concentrate so much on my troubles,
Reading through them like a novel,
Trying to catch a glimpse of something better in the situation.
I flee from many,to an island of isolation,
Where I yearn to speak to God and seek for his counsel.
But my heart is overburdened with sin that I feel hopeless,
And what I pray for,I oppose my tongue with disbelief,
Saying I am not worth a chance.
At the end of the day,my situation remains the same,
Day after day; year after year.
But,of late,I have found out something,
That I can never change it all if I have no faith.
So,this day,under this sun,
I pray to God,to give me great faith like Daniel's.

Premium Member With Him, I Love You Means More

I want to say “I love you”
With everything I am, with everything I’ve been…
Even when I was doubting, there was hope
Listening to your wisdom, your kindness…
The warmth of the light you shine down to inspire me

I want to say “I love you”
But don’t really know just how
To tell the God of creation…
That He has been my salvation
He has been my greatest blessing
He has been my reason for praying
And my reason for feeling like praising

I want to say “I love you”
To the One who gave my soul
The meaning that stirs my dreams
The feelings that arouse faith inside me
The beauty that tells me He is the answer
The grace that feeds the aching hunger…
For truth and loyalty, devotion and honesty
The promise of a love that is like no other
A love that guides and provides so much wonder

I want to say “I love you”
With a heart that is truly certain
This light who stills my anxieties
Resides inside me where I know
I can always hear His overflowing
Spirit of joy – spirit of awe…
Spirit of love that never lets me down

I want to say “I LOVE YOU”
To the One who lights up my heart
Glows bright inside my soul, always lets me know…
He is alive, a fire inside, inspiring my smile
Enlightening my life with a brightness that comes to life
For those who truly know Him as their heart’s leader
Their mind’s guide and their soul’s eternal liberator

With Him, “I love you” holds meaning
Because with Him, the stars are gleaming
The winds are whistling, the night is gentler
There is the promise of a comforting caress
Brought to those who know He has blessed
Every part of the heart who is truly His!

Premium Member How to Guide the Ego

Here we go again,
You talking all that nonsense
But let me put you on, my friend.

How to kill an ego?
This thing that keeps you going,
This thing that makes you tell yourself, I'm the best. I deserve this.
The same thing that lets you rip through lives,
Limb from limb,
Yet also lets you save one,
When things are looking grim.

How to kill an ego?
You want to know?
Let me tell you the ways.

But first
Think of life.
Think of your purpose here, right now.
Think of that ego steering you clear
Of the goals you say you want to achieve.

So what do we do?
Try to kill it?
No—there ain’t no stopping it.
So let’s see if we can guide it,
Live in harmony with it.

I want you to think of something important,
Something that sets your soul on fire.
Now attach your ego to it
Let it drive you higher.

See, that ego is always moving,
Flying around, landing next,
Figuring out whose life it’ll shape,
Or whose it’ll wreck.

That ego will take you high in the heavens,
Make you sing hallelujah,
Make you rich beyond measure
Or drag you into ruin.

But it can also feed your family,
Build your community,
Set your people up for life.
That ego can be self-love
Or it can be self-destruction.

So how do we guide the ego?
Attach it to a purpose.
Make sure it's true.
And when all else fails, and you don’t make it through,
Look up to me,
And I’ll show you the man I want to be.

It’s time to stop trying to kill the ego
Maybe, just maybe,
It’s time to guide it,
Because if you do it right...
It might just set you free.

To Guide Me Within

Dreams carry me across
  a mysterious land

Where the voice of my fathers
  so gently commands

It echoes now softly,
  in words only sung

A joyous recital,
  rewoven and spun

I never can stay there,
  I’ve begged till I weep

And with barely a whisper,
  I’m roused from my sleep

But when darkness befalls
  on my world once again

A new dream will come calling
  —to guide me within
