I had eight POETS honor me with my POEM "BrokenHeart"
But clumsy me, hit the wrong key and sent it of the chart

Then seven POETS chose my First POEM "The Aqua Rose"
Oh silly me, hits the wrong key; in cyber space it Grows

Six POETS chose my POEM "ALWAYS Together" as a Fave
I finally got the message, for this POEM, I DID save

Please read my Blog "A Boon from my Family POETRYSOUP"

This Present Darkness

Freedom I long to hear your bells ring
If you only knew what it would do to me
Auspice and a pair of Jacks, its sudden destruction
And the Poetry World's composure was completely destroyed
As we complete the circle of Life and Avalanche and bury the Poets
The organ plays and the funeral starts
As they compete with a man of God
Angel's and Chariots of fire
A demonstration of God's Power on earth
Extraordinary as her performance, I express myself
Court is convened now, she got the message
A star falls, I expand,
Lost Treasure discovered inside ourselves
How could I deny the fact
You gave me strength when no one else was ever there!

Premium Member Are You Hungry For God

How Hungry for GOD Are You?

How hungry for GOD are you? Do you pray and read the
Word daily? Do you stay in an attitude of prayer throughout
the day? Do you stay in fellowship with other believers?
Do you support the work of the Kingdom?

Do you hunger and thirst to know more of HIM? Do you feel like
you just can’t go on any further till HE touches you afresh? Do you
cry out for the fire of GOD to come on you by HIS SPIRIT?

Do you look for HIM to send you to unsaved people so you
can tell them about JESUS and lead them in a prayer to HIM?

Do you pray for the youth of this country and ask the LORD to send
a tremendous revival to them? Can you hardly wait for another
service so you can worship HIM with other saints?

Do you sing and worship HIM around your home and as you are doing
your work, cleaning, washing, and cooking? Do you sing n the SPIRIT as
you are mowing the grass, changing the beds?

Do you and your husband go to the mall purposely looking for
people to tell about JESUS? Do you seek out young people to
pray for them if they will let you and when they do, are you
praying for HIS SPIRIT to saturate them and use them and
keep them?

Are you longing and crying out for JESUS to come for HIS church?
HE is you know! Do you look for opportunities to tell people about
JESUS whenever you check out in stores, restaurants? I tell the
clerks or checkers that JESUS loves them and that HE is coming
soon, sometimes the reaction is tears, some laugh, some love it,
some hate it but needless to say, they got the message.

Do you pray for our nation and leaders to be safe and to be
led by HIS SPIRIT? And also, are you still and tuning
your ear to hear HIS still small voice? When you came to HIM
did you jump into the river of revival with all of your clothes on?

Did you tell HIM, Whatever YOU hate, I will hate, whatever
YOU love, I will love! Did you determine you would give
HIM everything and will follow HIM wherever HE wants you
to go?

Did you determine to be like a good little pot of clay made
by the GREAT POTTER	and asked HIM to cover that little
pot with HIS SPIRIT and fill it up so HE could pour it out
on who so ever whenever or wherever HE chooses!
Oh, yah~~! Then, you are definitely hungry for our
GOD!

GOD bless,

As Long As I'M Stil With You

As Long As I'm Still With You
We had the ups and downs
Sometimes it felt or I made
it seem that I just didn't wont to be with you
Nothing could ever take your place
Within my heart to yours
Nobody could set my heart free like you did

As Long As I'm Still With You
There are so many things we shared
The love we packed inside for each other
Nobody could ever take it away but God
Without him we couldn't make it though the storms
Nothing is so beautiful as the blue sky

As Long As I'm Still With You
When I got the message
That our love was going to vanish away
I broke down in tears
When I first heard I was breaking piece by piece
Nohting anymore can go wrong
Because when things get rough again
Lets put it in God hands

As Long As I'm Still With You
No one can change the way
I feel about you
Things came by hard as the days went by
We worked our way through them
But this one gave us a hard time
Because there was a decision to be made
A very important one
Do I really need you in my life

As Long As Im Still With You
Life would be a wreck
If I ain't go you
I don't want to go to the door no more
I used to run to it when I always think it was you
The phone rings
But I don't even want to get up no more
With you no more worries
You was there for me when things came by so hard

As Long As I'm Still With You
But as one we came along with out love
Nothing is better than being with you
As Long As I'm Still With You

Premium Member Sharing the Promise

Something spoke a promise
Whispered by the sky
And nodding clouds then passed it on
To eagles flying high
Something told the meadow
And gave the sparrow song
Who sang it to the cottontail
Who spread the warmth along
The trees soon got the message
And swayed with new delight
The raindrops danced in evening breeze
And shared it through the night
Each lily and fair flower
Stood taller on the stem
The promise shared when darkness came
                   ........The sun will rise again

Premium Member Mindless Behavior

Tell me something that I don’t know
We breathe the same air,
We shed similar tears
Cause we lived under the same sun
 Man, Woman and child
Somehow, you haven’t got the message yet
With all your wealth
Your buffalo soldiers
Why hold the world hostage
^
You can skip death
Even if you lock yourself
Away from the world
Mindless behavior is
All he knows
You can’t buy the air that we breathe
You might try
 Must you

Solution To Air Pollution

Yes, we’ve got the message
But what of its passage?
From your factories vapor
That does not foster rapport:
To residents a mission
Cushioning the emission…

I fear rearing stalemate
And a final waiting bait.
I wonder the smart platform
You’ll set up to quell the storm.
Whom you choose as Delegate
They shall behind relegate…

To Angering Pollution
Bribery not solution

Are You There, God

God, I’m so tired.
I don’t know how many years I’ve prayed,
but all I can hear
are the sounds of my creaking knees
and I can’t do it any more.

God, I’m so weak.
I’ve tried to be strong in the faith for so long,
but you’ve beaten me.
The silence is utterly deafening.
I can’t hear you any more.

God, I’m so angry.
Why don’t you do something about the hunger?
All I can hear are my own words
echoing around the room.

Oh.
I got the message …

The Riders

Four young fellas rode by around midday.
Sun was strong as whiskey scratching the back of a three day dried throat.
The three girls were out front and Ma came out pointing her loaded shotgun.
Riders like these and the hot sun wasn’t gonna be anything
but a barrel full o’ trouble.
They tipped their hats, asked for water.
Kitty with her blouse all open and them nubile breasts of hers just pouting
like peas in a pod just ready to pop.
Ma saw the way she was eying up that dark haired fella.
She just hollered at her to get her trouble seeking ass inside.
Ginny, the eldest girl, fetched them the water.
Seemed like they weren’t in any hurry to leave, so Ma fired off a shot,
whistled by the blond one’s ears so his horse darn near threw him.
Ma wasn’t the kind to tell anyone anything but once,
cos she said you can’t be wasting the Lord’s precious breath on hard eared scum.
They got the message well enough.
Don’t reckon we’ll be seeing them back this way again any time soon.

Getting Into Heaven - An Irish Tale

Getting Into Heaven

We were testing the children in Dublin
Sunday school to be precise
To see if they understood heaven
And to get in - what was the price
If I sold my house and my car
And gave all I had to the poor
Would that get me into heaven
No cried the children, we're sure
If I cleaned the church every day
Mowed the garden, kept everything nice
Would that get me into heaven
No cried the children now twice
Now I was starting to smile
If I gave you all a treat
Would that get me into heaven
No all the children repeat
If I was real kind to all creatures
And in fact to all living things
Would that get me into heaven
No from the children it rings
If I loved my spouse and my children
And gave them all I could get
Would that get me into heaven
No cried the children, not yet
So Children, How do I do it
How do I ever get in
Let's see if they got the message
To get there you must go through Him
Then from the back of the classroom
A six year old stood up and said
Before you can get into heaven
"YUV GOTTA BE FOOKN' DEAD..."

It's a curious race, the Irish.

A frantic phone call from my mother
I cried oh dear what's next?
Arriving at her house she asked
please teach me how to text.

I tried and tried I almost cried
because I laughed so much.
Not at her but laughed with her
at her precious trembling touch.

I said I think it best for now
just practice texting me.
Next day I got the message
gggh4pg.

I told her that she did just fine
she asked me how I knew.
She wondered “How'd my message
find it's way to you?”

Explaining everything I knew
of when and how and why.
It found me pretty easy
because you clicked reply.

I'm saving it forever
the first text mom sent to me.
Hanging by my bedside

The Big Black Dog

Hold your tongue don't speak in haste.
Your words could hurt or humiliate.
Offer help and give them hope
don't take them down but lift them up.
You don't know about their inner lives
the big black dog could be close by
to take there hope and self esteem.
Please remember don't be mean.
The big black dog he does note care
and he can strike anywhere
the rich the poor tall or short
he really does not care, beware.

I didn't write this for a competition as such but on depression
and thought it got the message across and its something I feel
needs highlighting so entered in one of the any poem comps contest number 223

The Concert

The Concert

I was scheduled to perform in an accordion concert,
I was just 8 years old as I recall,
There was a contest to see who can invite,
The most guests to come to the hall.

My dad invited the whole family,
All the gals and all the guys,
The grandparents, aunts and uncles,
To increase the odds of me winning the prize.

The orchestra performed the last selection.
We all did well and felt quite proud,
The conductor motioned to the members,
To stand up and take a bow.

After the audience applauded, the conductor
Asked us to take our seat,
So all of us sat down,
All of us, except for me.

My mom tried to get my attention,
By waving up and down her hand,
She tried to get me to sit down,
But I didn’t quite understand.

I finally got the message,
But my embarrassment didn’t last too long,
I was just relieved when I realized,
That I played my final song.

My stomach was a little upset,
I could have used some Tums,
But I felt better when I won the contest
And my prize was a set of bongo drums.

My Afro Hair

I once had that Afro hair you now rock, oh yes i once had it.
Not in the 40s, not in the 50s but in the summer of the dark age. I was a pretty little thing, A fish and oh yes i swimmed all waters.
My blackness got it strength from that Afro hair, not the wigs you rock now that has no shadow under.
My Afro hair.
I rocked it in front of the mirror and it sent messages to the slave masters that i have scribbled their skeletons on my wall.
My Afro hair.
I rocked it in the club and a white brother got the message that liberty needs a glass.
My young Africans.
You rock your Afro hair in front of sloths, drink wild, your winks die and you lie you represent the liberation party.
My young Africans.
In the summer of the dark age i was among the black panthers, we pounced on herods and never wore another skin.
My young Africans.
How do you rock your Afro hair?
What do you make of the coco butter inside your skin?
Oh what an ebony skin you got.
My young Africans.

One Up

There's a pack of jokers in your pack ...
Smiling, ducking, and dodging ...
Lying ...
Waiting on the perfect moment to mislead your psyche and attack.
So, stay ... ONE UP!
Especially now ...
For your cup is full... of richness and darkness ... sitting steady
On its saucer ...
and if you're not paying attention ...
hidden forces will come in and spill your most valued portions ...
So, watch and sip wisely ...
no matter the sweetness ...
For
your blow on the hotness
will allow you to see through the steams
vapored double-cross of him and her ... Can you see?
I know you got this!!!
"ONE UP"
So please believe when I tell you ...
Your surrounded by the devil's minions ...
Full of unforeseen judgements and opinions ...
Smiling in your face ...
while holding on to your heavenly rise
And
counting down on your multitude of possible ($) millions ...
So please take heed ...
It's not about your face and name ...
For
I'm giving you the key to light ...
continue the journey ... I'm not the enemy ...
I'm just clearing your path with ...
Spirit, knowledge, justice, and stability ...
You got the message, and this is not a bluff ...
Everything is not what it seems ...
So, go deep ...
Because there are some forces around you ...
that you can't feel nor see. I know you felt thee ...
"ONEUP"
THE END ...
