Poetry form: Alliteration - Each poem in my Alliterative Alphabet Series describes conversations between two or more people while only using words that start with or sound like the first letter of the title of the poem. I’m publishing the poems as I write them on Wattpad.com, not necessarily in alphabetical order. My goal is to write at least 26 poems to cover each letter of the alphabet. I hope you find the concept interesting, maybe even clever. Most of all I hope you enjoy them :)

Disclaimer: This poem is fictional and does not depict any actual person or event. The names used are ficticious and were chosen to satisfy the requirements of the poetry form.

Footling Around With More Super Duper Soupers

JEALOUS of my poem being featured this week Ms Onclaud? It’s not like you to be so:
Petty,
Nettie
You mind floating me a loan? Rumor has it that you’re richer than J. Paul:
Getty,
Nettie
Ow, that hurt! Look, you left a mark…

Linda with a rather shocking head cold picking contest winners:
Eeedie
PD..
You seem to be rather flighty today dear...You need to keep your feet on solid Terra:
Firma,
Irma!
So you’re gonna slap me TOO? Wait a sec, let me turn the other cheek…Oweee! (sniffle)

Who the heck was that pretty Latino lass that just walked by? Do you think:
That was
SKAT oz?
So how bout a vacation to Australia?…Have you ever seen the opera house in:
Sydney,
Sydney?
You don’t like OPERA?... WELL! I never! (and I probably never will)

Since we’re at the casino, how bout a game of:
Roulette,
Suzette?
Well, we lost our asses but we sure had fun… Any:
Regrets
Suzette?
There there…Let’s go find our asses okay? Next time I think we should take a cab…

I seen
Eileen
At the mall and she walked right past me without speaking!
I mean,
Eileen…
What’s up with THAT?

I appreciate your most kind comments my friend...You are blessed with good:
Karma,
Charma
And thanks for making pancakes for me, but where is the:
Syrup,
Cheer-cup?
I mis-pronounced your last name huh?...Also the word 'sear-ip'...Us rednecks say 'surr-up' which rhymes with 'Chur-cup'...Okay! I'll stop rambling! Stop being such a GROUCH and:
Cheer up,
Cheer-cup!

Horse of a Different Color

This is the Horse Of A Different Color you've always
heard tell about...well and this season it's a
celebration of the heart...ceremony of the horseman as
the gypsies danced you kissed me and I lost all reason
and as they partied all night long we made love 'til
the break of dawn...then as the clan sat out for the
promise of gold summers wetland you took my hand and
climbed up real close to me...I said hold on tight, I
said getty up Midnight going down the golden mountains
and blue green streams...somewhere along the way you
whispered in my ear I want you right now, right here
let them go their own way we'll find ours...now how
could I resist that well I guess California can wait
another day or two we've already come thus far and
heart to heart I knew we'd live the rest of our days
for richer or poorer never to part...ceremony of the
horseman, ceremony of the heart and this is the Horse of
A Different Color you've always heard tell about!

Premium Member Wriggle

I’m not string, I’m not spaghetti
And I’m certainly no yeti
With a bit more evolution
Could have been a John Paul Getty

But I love to make you squirm
Cos I’m just a wriggly worm
Yes I’m smaller than a human
But far bigger than a germ

Children often giggle
when they watch me wiggle wiggle
It’s actually a wriggle
But I wouldn’t want to niggle

But when I slither slither
They run off hither thither
For sometimes its just fun but
sometimes fear that I deliver

I was living in the park
In my tunnel nice and dark
From the sound of those vibrations
Kids up top had quite a lark

Well I should have stayed down deep
But I came up for a peep
Then I caught a rapid movement
And got captured by a creep

So he dropped me in a tin
My wife and kids already in
So I swelled up nice and thick
Cos my wife and kids were thin

So when he had a look
It was I - the worm he took
And now I’m slowly drowning
While I wriggle on his hook

But then I see a chance
And I take a second glance
I can’t believe I see
Some wartime ordinance

So I jiggled and I shook
And I wriggled off the hook
It was in a former life
That I’d read a wartime book

And so my plan well made
I hooked up the hand grenade
And said a quick Hail Mary
At the ticking sound it made

Sometimes it’s a win win
My family’s safe inside a tin
As I give the line a tug
And he reels his tackle in

Fascinating day,
Spending time with you.
Discovering many people,
I really never knew.
Opening doors of ambition
And graciously allowing me in.
Arousing immortal emotions
From somewhere deep with in.
Scenes of war,
Scenes of love.
Scenes of gifts
From god above.
Stimulating stories
Distinguished of the past.
Future curiosities
Excited for the past.
Captivating images,
From skilled artistic hands.
Captivating moments,
So forever they may stand.
Creations adorning every hall ,
Mentally majestic.
Beauty seen in every direction,
Resoundingly majestic.
Magnificent sculptures,
Answer how and why.
Magnificent paintings
That dazzle the open eye.
A monumental setting,
To travel back in time.
I knowingly shall return,
It's only a matter of time.
I discovered many places,
I really never knew.
Fascinating day,
All because of you.

Naughty Johnny's behavior still shocks us
When we try to correct him he mocks us
"My rude behavior
I greatly savor
Just for you, I'll become more obnoxious!"

"Obnoxious" means extremely unpleasant, offensive, or distasteful behavior. What can parents do to address obnoxious behavior in their children?

Epoch a Lipstick...

Here’s the arm of my giddy on…
It’s a pity that’s it’s not what you’re expecting
Inspections detected a mention
Called weapons of mass destruction
What freaking moron would build such things
Pretending to tend to the important Beings
Lending to send such meaningless meanings
Keeping the freeKin’ fearing sound,
on the ground?

Displeased, the lipstick came out…

Mislead was the message I shout!
Inspections detected a mention
That a moron’s moronic notion
Is to control and rule the ocean…

The vision was clear….
Pissed off and quick you hear…
A big Mother took her kid by the ear.
Nothing in the world did the poor chap fear
Except the color of lipstick, the Mother would wear.

Next thing you know
There was lightening in the snow
Zipper sounds from the clouds I say
Lines in the sky and they made me sway
The color of blue was to change this day.

Oracle triggers triggered safety valves
On maple leaves and written in halves
Visions clear in the windless rain
Nothing gets to work, if the works in vain.
Drastic peace and solutions in the wind.

Getty up Scout…
Nothings perfect.

Unmarked

To an delightful twilight of conversing,
And holding one another firmly to our entice bodies.
Looking profound into your exquisite eyes,
Noticing the naive of your heart,
And the intellectual zeal of your mental conception.
You smile so heavenly at me like your,
Gazing into the eyes of a companion you request in
prayers,
And only seen in cinema.
You asked my perception to facilitate you
And to heal the wounded heart that the previous
demeanor left upon you.
You weep in dreadful evenings,
Thinking that love is a utterance that destroys the
heart,
And compresses the soul itself.
You long for me to evaporate the tenderness that has
been dealt on you,
And bestow you the ecstasy that lifts the compelling
essence of an angel.
But you’re petrified to what may arrive from it.
The frightened way comes out through your veins,
And has you to questioned is will the next be
authentic.
But miss glance at me,
See the bliss I endorse into you,
And the hilarity that makes u desire to attack my
exterior.
Feel the texture of my lips,
When I kiss you unfathomable and passionately.
Hear the elation seep from you when I stroke the
accurate spots,
And have you Getty by the perception of my words.
But the only thing I require to do is,
take away the unmarked of non deserving love,
And give you the undeniable worship you earned.

He rode a horse he got thrown off
Onto the ground his head hit first
In a pile of manure horses pie
On top of his head he lie
Looked like a derby hat yah!
Getty-ap

Laddie look like a hat he wore
But it was just a pile of manure

She was a fair black lady
At the hair dresser
The weather man say yesterday
It’s gonna be sunny and bright
Yet, when the young lady left out the hair dresser
It thundered and began to rain
Uncovered her hair got wet frizzled and fuff-up
She looked like a cotton ball, now all wet she wore a afro

Lasses look like she wearin a British hat

summertime blazes
a large, grumpy goat jumps
betrayed by bottle

which he tried to eat
crunches, crunch, crunch, crunch, crunch munch
got glass in his teeth

all in his mouth crunch
in the field and the meadow
yet he spits out glass

Estelle Getty

(Dedicated to Estelle Getty who died July 22, 2008.)

When we watched her, she brought about laughter.
Now she's dead and she's in the hereafter.
She died at the age of eighty-four.
It's sad that she's not around anymore.
When she was young, she must have been very pretty.
Now the world is sad as we say goodbye to Estelle Getty.
