Notes About The Poem

Naughty Johnny

Naughty Johnny's behavior still shocks us
When we try to correct him he mocks us
"My rude behavior
I greatly savor
Just for you, I'll become more obnoxious!"

"Obnoxious" means extremely unpleasant, offensive, or distasteful behavior. What can parents do to address obnoxious behavior in their children?

Bad behaviour is like a virus, it just seems to be infecting more, while the powers to be, keep coming up with new ways of treatment, while the root of the problem keeps on moving further away. Great Limerick, Mark, it hits the nail on the head. Harry

LOL, that's the way it is with some kids. My son's name is Johnny, but thankfully he's not like that.

Unfortunately, that is the way it is with some. I'm happy yours is a good Johnny! :)
