CITY GEOMETRY

I’m on big town
Inserted
Yea, transplanted
Within its swaying wave
Of box and angle

Where my self-identity
Is something throbbing
Upward gazing
Arrowing
To sky points

So, it’s confusing
The hate-love factor
Stiffness
Restriction
Formal sharpness of angle

A quite eye bewildering sight
This swirling circumference
Of a giant
Fractured
Circle

And oh!
The Stravinskyish
Jagged continuity
Of line
Of dissonance

For distance
I follow parallels
Lines receding
With absolute...

Two lines intersect
an inherently
unstable situation.

Parallel lines
are better
each proceeding
separately in
the same direction
balanced by forces
of attraction/repulsion.
But if these change
the lines diverge
or intersect (see above).

Sometimes two
intersecting lines
may align
with a third
forming a
triangle.
Which is stable
but generally
disapproved of.

Very occasionally
two lines may meet
end to end
and...

Basic geometry’s based on four axioms,
Something that many kids study in school,
But a fifth axiom’s needed to prove it all,
This is where things start in getting real cool.

Really this axiom sounds very theorem like
Many have tried just to prove that it’s so
Math is not science...

The Geometry of a Love Gone Wrong
Drawing lines between shapes of grief
Going in circles, awaiting the lietmotif
Now just a side of a triangular run.
With defences up like the Pentagon.

Then finally looking Love square in the face
While Hope's line slopes down in disgrace
Calculating a Geometry too disjoint
For Love to have a basic...

Geometry of Life

Circle
I mean
One circle
Encircling you and me
And some other bigger and smaller circles

Let us draw some quadrilaterals of different sizes
Place those quads in and out side of the circles
Now you can see
The house
We live
In

Here
Right here
You are just a Carrom man
Strikers are busy with you
Playing the...

Mama, mama ...
I got a triangular problem
And I need you
to give me the square deal truth
Straight honest for real, lying foolproof —
it’s a rectangle of a mess
I’m trapezoid in a love box,
never thought it would get to be this obtuse
Having parallel realities
is splitting my...

The Geometry of Love
Parallel.
They said if our worlds ever existed,
It would be in parallel.
But when you gave me that sideways glance
I turned my chair perpendicular to avoid the trance
    You cast on me.
    And...

Geometrical,
Math'matical poetry.
Hmm…Lobachevsky?

Geometrics &

Think Lobachevsky.

Well. How 'bout Riemann?
Zeta function says it all.
How's that, professor?...

Love of Geometry
I have fun with the world of geometry
The square, the rectangle and the parallelogram
Oh' the trapezoid and the rhombus
The triangles, the isosceles and the equilateral
All are a great tight family together
The circles and ellipses are closely related
The formulas of geometry try to memorize
The areas...

Fun With Geometry
I have fun with the world of geometry

Oh' the trapezoid and the rhombus
The triangles, the isosceles and the equilateral
All are a great happy family together
The circles and ellipses are closely related
The formulas of geometry try to memorize

' Geometry To Me ... '
You, Man … Are The Angles
To My Curves
Hard and Sharp Corners
To My Circular-Swerves

You Are Exact
To My Abstract
You Are Algebra
To My Pre-School Math

You Are Calculus
To My Abacus
You Are The Chemical
To My Stimulus

You Are The Extra
To My Average
You Are The Multiply
To My Nothing Added

You Are Autonomy
To My...

Secret Geometry
The willow stands bifurcate ramifying and tall
The bees protect amber hued honey which is hive’s soul
Looks peaceful and plain but there is something inspiring awe
Something behind the hemp among hills that roll

The great fields green and gold
The sun in the valley its visage is...
