My galoshes were covered in rain,
I thought, “oh my word! This is a pain!”
But my shoes were found dry,
so I never did cry,
soggy water they seemed to retain.

The anticipation of snow
Beckons the memories of my feet

The rain is raining all around my sister Bella
and me; pounding a rhythmic beat on top
of our pretty colorful umbrellas
as we hold them high, high above our heads.

Utter excitement virtually spreads.
Our spoiled hearts and spirits, begins to soar.
