Floccinaucinihilipilification And Very Little Bread
       ( First of Three Poem Trilogy )

I

I've no problem with bardolatry fans
their barmecide and oft humorous rants.
Give me golden words not found in empty cans,
not bawbee's from those with sad, empty pants.
Truly I enjoy, bright golden attic wit,
creators of canorous verse that soars.
Those I may share bumbo and be a big hit
not with callithumpians that so sorely bores.

Nor do I fancy to become a bichon frise,
beholding to those with comminatory ways.
Finding some will cut you off at the knees
as a criticaster dariole for fugacious pay.
Floccinaucinihilipilification,
judged by Flews that chatter in morbid tune.
Give me saudade and a sandy beach vacation
with very little scrippage in the month of June.

Aye, no snollygoster soucouyant will do,
for my heart and soul begs sun-grazing songs.
Not a superbious umbriferous critic or two,
with the poet's soul this body truly belongs.
Seeking no uroboros legacy my ink doth stain
as a soulcatcher with a selkie as a muse.
Alone, in this rawky terrain my life will remain
for solitude and honor my poet's heart doth choose.

I've no problem with bardolatry fans
their barmecide and oft humorous rants.
Give me golden words not found in empty cans,
not bawbee's from those with sad, empty pants.
Truly I enjoy, bright golden attic wit,
creators of canorous verse that soars.
Those I may share bumbo and be a big hit,
not with callithumpians that so sorely bores.

Note:
Make of this what you will,
I give thus and surely shall send no bill
Yet in my poet's heart my soul oft grieves
for the Autumn colors not the decaying leaves
For the heart that yearns to write and truly give
and the mortal soul that writes to live
With inked symbols and a mind tired of toil
wading through worlds filled with pride and hidden turmoil
I write with purpose to give to others, not to take
tho' oft my poet's heart over burning coals some gladly rake.

_____________________________________________________________

In September golden day, so glorious and beamy,
As twilight stains the sky, a cynosure so dreamy.
Dusk abides, effulgent hues ignite the land,
And felicity abounds as we bask in daylight's sleek hand.

Penumbra kisses the horizon, casting a mellifluous spell,
Fugacious twinkles, as erstwhile avian dwell.
A demesne of pastures, comely and calm,
Where halcyon trees sway to the riparian psalm.

Harbingers of sunset, sunburnt and diaphanous,
Serenade the land with their soothing lullaby chorus.
Vesper whispers skid, such an elixir so tall,
Glamour and silence embrace, as the trees do enthrall.

In this bucolic scene, dulcet and radiant,
The purple hues paint a landscape so vibrant.
Slumber approaches, as the red heat fades
Epiphany dawns, a dramatic parade.

The horizon ablaze with refulgent light,
Lurid flames of passion, inflamed and bright.
Beaming through the breeze, the sundown delight,
A spectacular event, incandescence ignites the night.

As the gloaming swings to night, a symphony unfolds,
A dance of shades and emotions, stories yet untold.
In the afterglow, the world retreats,
To a striking melody, where each note meets.

Splendiferous sunset, resplendent and grand,
The nighttime sky bestirs, a resounding band.
Evenfall descends, with its dark flame,
A splendid display, a sight to acclaim.

The striking hues, such a painting divine,
Illuminate the darkness, with a radiant shine.
The nighttime sky, a tapestry of wonder and delight,
A symphony of colors, painting the night.

The evenfall whispers a tale so sweet,
As the moon rises, the night's heartbeat.
A symphony of silence, embraced by the dark,
A peaceful retreat, where dreams embark.

My Virtue Is My Duty

With the morning begins my day;
Different roles I'm ready to play.
Again and again I am perturbed ,
But nature and emotions are undisturbed.
Silently, without a word, all needs I suffice;
Day to night, unsaid unconditional sacrifice.
What do I gain from all these duties?
Deteriorating my health and my fugacious beauty?
Still, I don't pretend, I take my job seriously;
As a homemaker and a mother, working audaciously.
If I don't follow my virtue as my duty,
Who else do you think will prove their loyalty?

Premium Member Young At Heart

I entered a village in Algonquin park
as dusk approached the tattered edges of dark.
And fell in love with the bucolic setting
all except for the mosquito’s blood letting.

The pine smell was redolent riding each breeze
carrying halcyon memories of trees.
And for a fugacious moment I felt lost
amidst the penumbra where I weighed the cost.

I could find a safe inglenook or camp out
a vestigial whiff of pie gave me doubt.
And taking that as a harbinger of treats
to come I headed to a lodge with grass streets.

My ephemeral connection with the Earth
somehow gave my sempiternal soul rebirth.
For I felt rejuvenated young at heart
and with each footstep felt my tensions depart.

In my home amidst the bucolic pine trees
My time spent at home is so fugacious.
Autumn has come to my halcyon garden.
Ephemeral summer has said her good-byes.
Migrating birds from Alaska, harbingers of fall,
Consume the vestigial of summer's ripe fruits.
Redolent pines welcome the crisp clean air
Penumbra in the setting sun as they keep vigil.
In my inglenook, I curl up with a poetry book
Which brings me such sempiternal happiness.

Premium Member Elixir of Silence

Written: October 1st 2023
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In the ocean of silence, I’m stunned
Astonish by its grandeur as I descend.
A comely curtain of conciliatory calm
Elapse the chaos, surreptitious and warm.
In the hushed embrace of the twilight sky,
A silence plummets, ambrosial all nearby.
Astonied hearts stand in solicitous awe.
A comely night implies her ethereal flaw.
Emollient whispers waft into the air.
Surreptitious secrets are shared with care.
Incipient stars start their gentle wafture,
Surreal leaves create a ripple in nature.
Mellifluous melodies mend meteoric might,
Fugacious flimsies that fizzle out of a fight
Gossamer moonbeams cast their diaphanous glow,
Creating an aura of silence, tranquility, and bestow.
Ineffable fairness, fiercely feisty, not frigid,
The break of dawn silenced, as if timid.
Saturnine secrets shrank in secrecy.
Stupendous silence slides, sinewy spree.
Lull launders, looping the limp land,
As warblers start with a duteous band,
Sullen clouds gather, ominous and dark.
Yet awestruck hearts find solace in calm remarks.
Reassuringly, the heavy silence lingers.
Dour faces are glum, yet prudent fingers
Guide the oxymoron of emotions that flow,
Glowering and divine in their quiet glow
In the gloomy hush, discretion gleans hold,
As discerning minds decry peace in the fold,
The prudent ones, with a discreet glance,
Understand the power of silence dance.
Glum faces settle in quiet repose.
Views deepen, and worries dispose
Astounded by stillness, they are in awe.
Of absolute peace that stillness can draw.
Awestricken by the amorphous depth it brings,
They decry solace in the lull that silence sings.
A curtain of calm tumbles, amazed and serene.
As the amorphous depth of quiet is felt and seen.
Inauspicious cruxes balmily soothe fears.
As diaphanous whispers softly, quell tears.
Hinky hearts hearkens a hypothesis behind,
A voice uttered, "Love silence will never hide".
No query or qualm can squeal this bond.
Silence is where my peace is dulcet fond.
In the hushed embrace of the twilight sky,
Silence reigns, and my love will never die.
Often, I get lost in my thoughts,
   in my inglenook by my hearth-
      I unwind knots;
all need these quiet spots,
          to gather words in our mind;
            to leave our sempiternal tears.
I drift, I float away in dreams,
   lost in a riporian scene -
      of rocky streams;
where I can create themes,
          I never know what I will find,
             as I go back in time and years.
Many thoughts take me to childhood,
   where I gangoozled in the green-
      happy I stood;
by my high fort of wood,
          where my child words and dreams twined;
             and I whispered fugaciou prayers.
Five Unusual words used -
inglenook - a cozy nook by a hearth
sempiternal -  eternal
riptorian - by the bank of a stream
gangoozled - to stare
fugacious - fleeting
I picked these unusual words because I like to find words that are not
used these days in normal speech and writing, and because I am fascinated
with dictionary's of all kinds, I found this dictionary called Alphadictionary.
It is full of unusual words and I am happy for the opportunity to use some
of the words found within for this poem.
Quote: True intelligence requires fabulous imagination. Ian Mcewan
 ______________________________________________________________
In a realm of dulcet dreams, a tale unfurls,
Where fleeting moments dance with the sublime,
A fugacious world where time swiftly swirls,
And fabulousness transcends the paradigm.
Amidst the quintessential meadow green,
Where propinquity weaves its tender thread,
A susurrous symphony of whispers keen
Guiding souls to where bucolic dreams are spread
The cynosure of these demes is divine.
A solitary tree with branches vast,
Its leaves are gossamer, delicate, and fine.
A sanctuary where demure hearts find solace at last.
From its boughs, an elixir drips and sings.
A tincture of nature's sweetest essence,
An elixir that heals and renews all things,
A harbinger of peace and quintessential presence.
With each sip, pyrrhic fruition is won.
As burdens are shed and troubles are eased,
The soul is uplifted, the spirit is spun,
In this sanctuary, worries are appeased.
Whispers of the bucolic breeze parade,
Through fields of wildflowers and sun-kissed air,
Nature's symphony, the sweet serenade
A melody that bears hearts out of despair.
As the sun sets on this magical scene,
The demesne was bathed in hues of gold and red.
The elixir power, forever serene,
Leaving a lingering bliss, a memory that never fades.
Whispers of the bucolic breeze remain.
In the hearts of those who dare to believe,
In the power of nature's gentle refrain,
And the magic it can weave.
Written: May 2nd, 2024
                 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Quixotic quest quiddity
As dusk sapidity emerges,
Casting a shadow
Weeping waves smash
in foamy scatters;
seraphic strophic sojourn
groans in a gossamer gaunt
Arid shadows fade.
In a hazy blur,
emptiness lingers.
Shorebirds console each other.
in epicedes of
velvety whispers
and elusive sighs.
Horizon amid
cinereous graffiti of
tear-stained threnody and
raven blooms.

It breaks my heart, too
with crimson, auric, and
plum, plum, purple wings,
why haven't you
returned
to me in spring?
to our moon-smeared love
& diaphanous elixir
amethyst kisses of
emerald ablaze,
spiraling in seductive
sapphire scarlet sounds,
Your love, a fiery flow
Flames aflame,
with gemstones aglow.

Dark ideas settle in
my head is akin to
a tombstone,
Obstructing—my judgment
early hours are lost
in the fog,
their significance dimmed
I succumb to allure
of nightfall and
I shut my eyes.
Acquiesce to inquiry
in heaven, each flower
boasts a mirror
to inveigle into each valley,
Beneath a sky of
countless clouds;
quaint lodge stands out,
surrounded
by a myriad of
shimmering ponds
capture a vast expanse
of coastlines.
Uncharted shores,
where vessels veered
toward vast seas,
untrodden by any praxis

As twilight falls,
coastlines curve in a crescendo
across horizon.
Cloaking hill peaks in mist.
loquacious verbosity
recognized in wisdom
beyond spectrum of
circumlocution.
In a flurry of
fading flowers,
faith-filled fields, &
fugacious felicity.
Snare drum rotunda
somberly chimes
within a forest,
Its dulcet echos rhyme.

We've wandered down
curious trails
basking in the sun
warm embrace;
In depths of shadows,
We've sought with fear,
an ambient arena,
vast and near.
Unveiling a shore infinite,
In an abyss where
every heart resides.
With its boundless skies

Colors waltz in a rainbow kaleidoscope
cynosure of sun sparks steel drum teams
Emerald elms embrace periwinkle sky
among fragrant spikes of purple lupines.

               Monet and Van Gogh are arm-in-arm
               spin a diaphanous color wheel off charts
               starry night, yellow circumduct swirls
               over white water lilies on mirror ponds.

Consider both humanity and nature
emollient color splits and multiplies
A flamenco actor will kick and clap
Hot crimson ethereal feeling whirling flies.

                Gold and yellow dance to evocative music
                downpour is brought on by charcoal gray
                rain and brightness dance across earth
                awaking felicity from fugacious winter sleep.

Akin to a roulette ball of a gossamer color
gambling my emotional imbrication away
winning when the ball stops in blue
dancing sea and sky arouse my day.

The quiescent oaks shiver in the cold
Their fugacious leaves blown away in the breeze
February will you bring me closer to spring bold
If anyway possible would you please

Now the susurration of winter's wind
So different from sighing of the pines
How I long for angular sun's warmth, my friend
For time in the sun, how I have pined

There's pale gray wool flung across the sky
A cold white shawl draped upon the lawn
Before the sun rises to warm by and by
When sun illuminates the crack of dawn

Chilled daffodils tender shoots peek through the earth
Seeking the sun's early light and warm touch
Once more to refresh the bulbs' life with mirth
Invite early insects to tickle its trumpet and such

Moonbeams kindle ambrosian dreams
Love evolves on auric gleams
A gem in space, a costly pearl, a Luna
Fetching felicitous feelings, a fervid fawn
In this wassail ethereal area, hearts soar
I was awestruck by the lambent moon
Glittering gems, gilded in dull dust
Vanity surpasses a chimeric spell
A cromulent devotee, in awe
Emerald aureola, blazing high star
Heavenly memoir amphorae
Sew love from words in utter gaze.

Toed moon syntax tonight
In our bucolic spot, love will thrive
We are those who wield abilities of orbs
Sparse straps, splitting stripes
Love outshines crimson swirls
Sapphire adorns translucent tulips
Sturgeon Roe names cast in crystal
Sipping strawberries spoils serene seas
My love infused a porcelain spirit
Sketch my comely soul
Let me breathe your raspy hiccups
Believe me—beyond oblivion
Your Zinnia blooms gambol my heart
Gorgeous, lost in a well-woven nimbus
Fugacious felicity and fluff on fiery flowers
Rising flames, faint shooting, conflict.

Outside orbs offer otherworldly orbits
Deciphering diaphanous riddles
Could night cherubs grasp our grace?
Classic clear cloud cores
A balmy silk breeze hides enigmas
Covered below perseid colors
Your dulcet eyes sparkled dimly
Rose-tuned praise of cyan candidness
Via velvety vintage valleys, vivid verse vests
Beleaguer back the fire of our waltz
The moonlight lifts our mellifluous breath
Dreams soar in tangerine skies.

"Except during the nascent stages of real humility, true love remains quiescent." By Poet

Fragmented Form: A rhyme form created by poetess: Constance La France

                        Calm and quiescent, yet restless and untamed,
            I realize contentment in this particular instance.
      Unruly and unbridled epiphany—feel unashamed,
Their routines are seamless of their existence.
                        Embedded in my core—words lie idle in my mind,
In an evanescent suffocation, downcast and confined.
Quiescent, craving liberty—eager to be divined,
      Regrouping with family upon shelter and care.
            Feeling fugacious, free to float forward and flare,
                        Words have become quiescent—in my dare.
My life has a secret vault in the back, framed,
            A sanctum, I retreat to unveil glee in assistance.
      My heart unlocks this hide—for who seek to find,
            This closet has a door for all who wish to share.
