I drift, I float away in dreams, lost in a riporian scene - of rocky streams; where I can create themes, I never know what I will find, as I go back in time and years. Many thoughts take me to childhood, where I gangoozled in the green- happy I stood; by my high fort of wood, where my child words and dreams twined; and I whispered fugaciou prayers. ____________________________ February 3, 2020 Poetry/Rhyme/Floating in Dreams Copyright Protected, ID 20- 1222-841-03 All Rights Reserved, 2020, Constance La France Written for the contest, Exalted Words sponsor, Chantelle Anne Cooke Second Place ____________________________ Five Unusual words used - inglenook - a cozy nook by a hearth sempiternal - eternal riptorian - by the bank of a stream gangoozled - to stare fugacious - fleeting I picked these unusual words because I like to find words that are not used these days in normal speech and writing, and because I am fascinated with dictionary's of all kinds, I found this dictionary called Alphadictionary. It is full of unusual words and I am happy for the opportunity to use some of the words found within for this poem. Rhyming Pattern -(rhyming verified on Rhymezone) axaabc dxddbc exeebc
