Besotted Legs and Trampled Shadows

Daddy comes everyday when the twilight
Bifurcates the light into shadows
Like a miscreant, grasshopper
Intrudes into the cracks of walls
Mom became a vociferous loudspeaker
Alcohol staggers inside his belly
Like the movement of snake..
He never came that day
Mamma's hand freezed with
Wheat flour and dough
My rapacious belly was ready to suffer
Starvation.. And I thought
Where did Those besotted legs and trampled
Shadows go?
It can't go to some other pastures
Some other homes,
It can't slap some other shoulders..
Myopic eyes often started to sew the dress
again enhancing the sartorial elegance..
I missed those shadows hued with that
Of pickles and spirit..
Still I proclaimed:
Shadows have gone..
Light is yet to come...
Life is yet to start

Premium Member Heart-Shaped Clouds

Clouds playing around
In the sky tramping above the ground
Dangling in merry-go-round
Smiling at you year-round

One cloud zoomed outbound
Glittering ice flakes fall in mound
Flowers and trees have all found
Heart-shaped clouds in pieces on the mound

Crystals in diamonds plodded on the ground
Stayed and freezed like a heart spellbound
Prayers in hearts everywhere that astound
Heart-shaped clouds in you, dwell pound for pound

Premium Member A Prayer Inside My Pocket

Short prayer I say
Each day I keep all day
Each night I breathe and pray
With my sweater, all night I dream so gay

Clothes I wear with no pocket
I change and bring with locket
Picture of faith I keep in a bucket
All year round I lit with socket

Whenever I feel blue I just sing
Songs of fife that life can bring
Songs I bite without a sting
Melodies I strike with my light string

Strings of faith and joy I play
Keeping my feet on the ground, not stray
Living a life so cool that lay
Wreaths and olives I reap, not wray

One day I lost my faith
Erred and haunted by wraith
Wisp of tendrils creeping and saithe
Noshing my body and molded like dearth

Then instant light flashed on my face, I freezed
I was speechless, frozen without a mouthpiece
A prayer inside my pocket that please
Sweater I wore again to keep myself at ease

Beauty An X

How the pulchritude of a flower aerates
Playing ecstasy to all that see it to stay
A perfect replica of a mortal rates
How good the God's graces in it array
Whose slippery beauty per se, a threat to the global ford
Rampaging zeal in all to have its call
But fragility places a gateway of a gloomy cord
Over the wreckage of fashioned stars preserve and fall
How swift beauty freezed
A lasting pain in the memory of a lady
When ravished in the dark, mutilated and squeezed
The pride of age turns everlasting sorrow and moody
O wondrous mystery, joy fades overnight
And the work of glory timely blight.

It's In Our Jeans

In beautiful and well stretched blue jeans, we walked
Accompanied by perfectly charming shirts
Smiles infect as our fingers locked and sway
Through the pavement to the dance hall
Where glimmering colorfully fragmented lights
Acknowledged our presence
And ordered the best beat of the year
As we bend to answer the call of melody
Wonderfully carved waist freezed all sights
As it gradually moves, all eyes move
I held her close and whispered
Your dress is the best
She replied "Yours is amazing"

Lover's Call : After Break Up

Lover's Call
  O! Sweet heart
  Why you break heart
  step you have taken
  is not good to all.
  So come back
  in life before dayfall.

   No chance to complain
   I promised, you can
   use me as you want.
   My heart is as warm
   as blanket in winter
   dear which you want.

  All artificial things
  of the world are not
  good to dwell you.
  But my heart natural
  capacity of feel: cool,warm
  safe which need You.

  Tomorrow sun will rise
  and will set as usual
  The mischief wind will
  strike my window pane
   to awake me from
   your sweet sweet dream.

  My eyes will welcome
  the day break but soon
  tears will get them wet.
My hand not hold the red
  rose so more because they
too weak to hold the weight.

    My feet hurriedly move
    forward to open the gate
    for welcome angel you.
    But regret they freezed
    themselves when find
   garden missed dear you.

The sun ,the moon ,the breeze
all will be same tomorrow but
   sorrowed heart without love ,
   boring, useless and deserted
seems me as seems hurted lily
   moon without moonlight's love.

     Please
     Please
     Please
     Come
     Back
     Sweet heart.

Cold Winter Night

The cold air blowing through my frail body,
puts goose bumps all over me.

Walking through large snow drifts,
making time seem longer,
and each step taking away
my energy.

Time drags on into the night,
searching for shelter to hide from
the bitter cold winds.

Finding a cave brings relief, seeing
some logs, I start a fire to warm my
frozen hands.

Looking outside I see blizzard
conditions.

The warmth of the fire keeps
me warm, but will the the logs
let me make it through the
night or will I freezed like everything else.

Will have to make them last,
I refuse to die on this bitter cold
night.

In just a few hours dawn will be here,
and I will catch the noon train
to Jacksonville, where its been
in the 80's all week and not
a trace of snow.

So this will be my last night
and winter in this dreadful
place, I will see a new day
and smile once again.

This Day

The tangled webs of fire breathes,
Find the fibre to be freezed
Thoughts of peace in disarray
Devil takes a hold and plays

Mind in kayos
Life in shreds
Take a hold the dice
Instead

Be with me and know my mind
Scattered fragments
Is my crime
Many thoughts of disarray

Tangled webs,
Makes it a day
Life on earth
An earthly thing

Let the past be just a sin
Let the earth become my song
Sing a tune that isn’t wrong
Waves of tides please wash my feet

Tears of sorrow
Rob my peace
Pain so mighty
Life does keep

Take my life and take my arms
Know that I’m a living charm
Be with me in my own ways
Be my friend in living days.

Sulk

Left alone to sit n sulk
of stresses there's a bulk
all leave the house at nine
I'm left only to sit n whine
we live in a mansion
maintaining it is a tension
all get back only to dine
hungry inmates for food pine
they take it for granted
that ill have cooked all ,that's wanted
none to lend a helping hand
morning to night I prepare meals grand
cleaning the place is another domain
Its a mania ,which to accomplish is a pain
Always I move around with a duster
I wish to see most things maintain their lustre
grandchildren get home at lunch
looking always for new stuff to munch
their parents get back late
they run to their arms straight
each one then leaves
that's when some tension reweaves
They don't realise I'm not that agile
With time I'm rendered fragile
I muse will this cleanliness mania ever be released?
or my duties eased
my life it seems has freezed.

Your Silence

In the lush green grassland...filled with the fragrance of herbs
As the silence is spread...I can hear your song of love
Its a full moon night...in a forest covered with the fog... A solitary walk with you
This is enough for me...just this
All I need is you...only you
It is a beautiful sight...as the cranes bathe in the water pond and shake their wings to get rid of
dripping Water
Without any hesitation as you wipe the that water of me
I want to take you into my arms
Trees are quivering in this fall of snow
Even the blood has freezed surrendering to the chills of this winter
Our tender age is craving for warmth at this moment...let's get into a blanket.

Caught In My Mind

A blessed cloud moves overhead
I watch its journey
I watch it change shape
Blend into whatever vision I need it to be

Monumental time on my hands
Seperated by blue skies
You're caught in my mind
But soon you'll be back here with me

Meaning seems to fall by the way
The day can be whatever it wants
It makes no sense to wake up
When you are not a moment in grace

You're caught in my mind
Every moment captured
Freezed framed and on pause
My heart has relied on this place

A Winter Night

It was a winter's night and the moon wasn't too bright,
i kept walking with my coat held tight.
I kept my pace as life is a race.

Pacing through the cold breeze, i realized that life isn't easy,
i still kept my pace even when i was dizzy.
i came across a lot of obstacles and even stumbled,
but i stood on my feet as i remembered.
that night whenever i was in fear;
i thought it's phase it'll pass with a tear

I wanted to make a mark and clear away this dark
so i still kept my pace as life is a race

my feet were freezed perhaps due to the cold breeze
i kept my pace till i make eveyone believe

I longed and yearned for the warmth of embrace but
Alas! i had to run cuz life's like is a race
and i had to make haste as i might loose this race

I'd love to be and longed for a place
where the world is a better and place not merely a race.
