Best Flow Out Poems
In love with poetry, spellbound am I-
by force, that takes me to the land of words.
Beyond control, this power has its way
that leads me to present my heart and soul.
This overwhelming power captures me;
like an addiction, I consume fine words
for them to shape the thoughts within my mind;
create great imagery that can be read.
Most poets know this overwhelming pain
of finding special words to paint a theme;
this search for me becomes a magic hunt
of hide and seek to capture them like prey.
Consuming is this poet’s gift of pen;
the task can be a tiresome marathon
of hours or days, and yet, if lucky can
flow out in minutes on the first clean page.
This love of writing poetry runs deep;
an inner urge that cannot be dispelled;
as captor, captive both, my inner goal-
to find some balance in completed works.
Now when I Smile I feel
it’s coming from the Heart
Not like I Used to smile
when I did it for Likes...
Something has changed in me
or maybe Rearranged to be
What I am Now is no longer behind Closed Doors...
I am Changing…
I have to tell it like it is...
No Disrespecting….
How you choose ~ Your Choice to live
I know that I’m Changing
Words flow out My mind
I’m More understanding
What’s Good I'll do this time
Yes, I am Changing…
Into the Someone I've always been...
The Me within...
Can one learn how to live?
Life is not without difficulties and obstacles
Clear and bright, of one's own reason
or spiritual men and women
The power of faith for emotional health,
can improve your overall emotional well-being
A profound sense of spirituality
gives you a higher quality of life, with healing
How to deal with fear,
and the trigger thoughts that start worries
Knowledge gives another opportunities
to overcome stress in everyday life
The healing will happen,
when we allow ourselves to let go
Mosaic must be glued together from broken pieces,
as tissue, and thoughts flow out
Please tell my heart to love a little less
It’s strength of love not quickly to confess
Please tell me heart to measure the amount
Of love allowed to flow out from its fount
Safeguard my love; on heart’s door cast a spell
To make it strong and quick the gush to quell
The wave of passion, teach it to subdue
So as to match what other lovers do
My heart is heavy with the weight it bears
So sick of caring when none other cares
Command my wanton heart to be demure
Inject a dose of apathy….it’s cure
For if my heart in loving knows no bound
It’s bound to break and put me underground
Eileen Manassian Ghali
The rim of the basket
as wide as the ocean
The shot leaves his hand --
poetry in motion...
Years later his pen's on fire
never ceasing, never tired
Poems flow out of him
like water from a stream
Awake all night writing
~ tomorrow he'll dream
Allow your thoughts to mix in with mine
I can be the glass you can be the wine
As you are swirled all the aromas show
The complexity of you starts to grow
Like all good wines I realize you need air
Your magic emphasized others aware
You intoxicate a wonderful gift
A little bit of you gives hearts a lift
As I am tipped your beauty does flow
Not too quickly it's better to be slow
Once you have been tasted others will see
You are the words that flow out of me
Robin Redbreast
Spring is here, and the robins appear
With morning and evening song in the air.
A robin redbreast perched in a tree
Sings a song for his lady bird to be,
Undeterred, as he awaits her answer,
Crescendoing to drown out the others.
His heart afire, his senses alert
He preens his feathers between the chirps,
And breathes deep as his chest puffs out
Then, music vocals produced by the syrinx
Flow out from his bill, calling to his sweetheart
In refrains to arouse her curiosity.
And if successful, she’ll fly in his direction
To check out his worthiness and description.
(Verse 1)
Gathered in an antique bowl
All the letters from their joyful life
Kneeling like prayer, she’ll stoke the fire
She’ll burn the words, they are for her alone
(Chorus)
Like unwritten pages..
Hopes, cries, dreams, sighs
Will flow out, debris after rain
Our untold stories..
Smiles, scrapes, charms, the screams
Will go out, smoldered by rain
(Verse 2)
Countless hours make a life
Shear number of moments stun
Commotion, struggled swim
Ripples will calm to glass
(Chorus)
Like unwritten pages..
Friends, shams, loves, spills
Will flow out, debris after rain
Our heartfelt stories..
Kids, aches, meals, the scars
Will go out, smoldered by rain
(Musical interlude)
(Chorus)
Like unwritten pages..
Jokes, peeves, pets, lies
Will flow out, debris after rain
Our ancient stories..
Thrills, falls, truths, the hells
Will go out, smothered in sand by time
Listen to this as a song!

The greatest love story ever told
Is right here in my heart
It isn't fancy with fancy words
It's sweet like the song of a lark
No need for any material things
To prove the depth my love
Just holding your body close to mine
A love that fits like a glove
Many words have since been written
About how true love endures
Words expressing one's inner feelings
Feelings so intense and pure
Life on earth is a fleeting thing
We're here next moment we're gone
Love until your very last breath
Too soon you'll be passing the baton
My heart sings with the joys of love
Tender words flow out like a river
The greatest love story ever told
Makes my soul and body quiver

They flow out of a pocket of sky,
a door in the air no one saw
until dark wings shower
over our heads.
Their plumage has a metallic sheen,
as if they were made in parts,
in some elvish workshop, their wings
hammered on last.
Wings that talk to other wings,
for no starling is a starling alone;
it is ten thousand starling clones
welded into flocks of feathers.
They descend where they please.
a road, a lawn, a parking lot,
they descend, and where they land
that is their land, their acre of lordship.
See them strut like dinosaurs,
eyes as black as an eclipse.
See them stab the light, push it away
until all that litters the ground
is prey.
Owl, eagle and hawk fear to
draw near, for the flock is here,
and it will leave when it wants to.
We avoid the pecking mob,
hurry by, look away,
as another swarm of avian androids
stakes its claim upon the earth.
Blood staining shimmers
flow out behind
crack in my heart
break out in mime
Crystalline echos
bells did toll tell
darkness has risen
slaughter reigns hell
Split as it soared
crashed into soul
memories been bleed
stories be told
Burning through temples
ripped out of tombs
shrine that was body
now lays in ruin
Silent pleas reaching
strummed out by ten
streaming in whispers
prayers to the wind
Nights rocking earth
shaking the lean
black dog is birthed
all this unseen
Dawn is closing
breaking with breath
grasping be heard
depression’s little death
Slowing down time
raking through flames
mirrored in lethargy
Sleep my soul claimed
How I wish I was a flute
Keep Spreading new notes in the air
Pleasing people with their sweet sounds
Making them happy and out of despair
With my sound I would heal the wounds
Soothe the heart, soothe the ears
Cure not only externally, but also internally
Bring them out of sadness and wipe their tears
Also, help people communicate to their dears
Be a mode of communication
Language of love would flow out of me
Helping people to come out of hibernation
When I am old I would become one with nature
Recycle back and become a flute again
What is life if I am not useful to someone
I would like to be a flute again and again
I lay awake in the darkness,
My body so still but my mind racing till I get ill,
I ask myself
Who am I ? A complete lie?
My heart racing so fast,
My thoughts completely lost,
But here I am ,
Holding myself together,
But anytime now ,I feel it’s all going to flow out like a river.
Emotional rush when quite hearts tear
leaving a void onerous to repair.
Unloving compassion torments me so
drowns benevolent heart to overflow.
Hiding in shadows with a want to kill
forsakes a doubtful soul to grasp this thrill.
Understanding cannot be understood
when selfish being declines to do good.
Tears stain soft cheeks on a cold hard pillow
flow out of control like stormy billow.
A bruised heart shatters when a killer takes
one or multitude my heart still aches.

When I look into your eyes
I see my precious child
When I look into your heart
I see the love you have for me
When I watch your hands move
I see my grace and mercy flow out
When I watch your feet move
I see an army of angels walking this land
When I work through your eyes
I show you a need
When I work through your heart
I see your heart filled with compassion
When I work through your hands
I see the faith you have in Me
When I work through your feet
I see a companion walking beside a lonely friend
