Premium Member Monster Mash
When Frankenstein’s bride was created
The monster was surely elated
He asked her to dance
As he sought romance
To screams his poor ego deflated

Count Dracula surveyed the dance floor
He sought a mate sporting great pallor
“Morticia” stood out
He gave her a shout
But she brushed him off for the Centaur

Incredible...

Ill Wind
Ill westerly winds were blowing today
Carrying the past to my open door
And moving old dreams that got in it's way
Blowing swept ashes around on the floor
Hints of sweet aromas filling the air
Swirling boldly with a sharp biting chill
Reminding my heart that love is not...

Premium Member Tiny Toddler Has a Temper Tantrum
I was shopping in the local mall
When a toddler just started to bawl
He stamped his tiny feet
And demanded a treat
But his mum wouldn’t buy a football!

He continued to scream and shout
His small mouth displayed a huge pout
But much to his chagrin
His mum did not cave...

Premium Member First Date
I remember the night of our anniversary so vividly.
Cyril, who locals call 'Cyril the Squirrel' because he's such a miser,
had just taken a seat at the next table with his date Muriel, the local gossip.

Muriel was clutching a wilted red rose that Cyril must...

Three Seasons
Oh joy of vibrant spring debut
primroses hue
Daffodils glow
Bluebells floor show

Summer shows her glorious blooms
Roses perfumes
Tulips kisses
Sweet pea blisses

Rustic views of autumns delight
Begonia bright
Cornus flaming
Fuchsia charming.

Minute poetry.

Acting Out (Adult)
Steamy windows, sticky fingers,
nothing ventured, nothing gained,
drapes are open, quite the floor show,
naughty boy, she's got him trained.

They are primed, she strokes her body,
sweaty palms and velvet skin,
anticipation is the trigger,
ejaculation is the sin.

But is it really sin, or pleasure?
satisfaction's guaranteed
as the goal of each...

You Will Never Know How Much You Hurt Me
YOUWILL NEVER KNOW HOW MUCH YOU HURT ME

I try to open up
but you slam me shut
and throw me away like an old cigar butt
you gave me false hope
i dont know how ill cope
do you know how many times I was told I was...

Beam Curvature
feeling his vitamin injection a new adventure begins
a slapstick epic of unfathomable implication here unfolds
as the rat gnawed curtain rises at Ye Bone and Gristle
among the clattering of wooden pints of bitter ale
the floor show a fatigued and spent collegiate symposium
a haggard attempt at ecumenical...

The Exam
My eyes swim up from a tangled seaweed
of long forgotten data.
Now I remember that instead of going home
I stayed on at that topless bar.

I am unprepared for future-shock, ill-equipped
to decipher questions, that like shaggy owls
hoot in a darkening lecture hall.

I used to panic myself...

Why are you going to that nightclub again? I asked my neighbor Jim.
I like the way they make their Mimosas, he told me, lying again.
I decided to follow him, for I suspected it was something else entirely.
A floor show started and cute cats came...

Vision Twenty Twenty
Midst of the night, clamour for silence
embarassed glances through a cracked door
are answered by pitch black's velvet echo,
enquire of the ice, interogate a cold, dead tree.
The last taxi blinks down a skating road
 close the door...click the lock,
 hollow...shut !

Turn head...

The Examination
Listless images swirl up from tangled seaweed.
Instead of going home to study
a youth stayed on at a topless bar.

This reoccurring nightmare is a parody,
a Dahliesque floor show of every
melting, pants down moment.

Unschooled for future-shock, ill-equipped
for long forgotten questions;
scruffy owls hoot in an empty lecture hall
as...

Snowing
blowing

Pure white
delight

Ice-cold
so cold

The trees
all freeze

Oh, ice
not nice

I walk
fall shock

I crash
smash, trash

Crawling
falling

A snow
floor show

The end
amen...
