Premium Member Many Coffees Go Cold - Reality Explained

the things you both see
you all see
is merely a continuity safeguard
one of the laws written in to prevent chaos
we can't have multiple lifeforms occupying the same space all seeing and experiencing something different
it just wouldn't work
so we've set impulses to align where and whenever possible
sure as hell easier when you lot are on your own
takes a heap of pressure off the system
that way we suspend everyone else
they're not needed
you don't surely think they're individually living do you
no, just on hold, paused
until you're no longer on your own
then we have our work cut out again
and many coffees go cold

That Which Cannot Ever Be Explained

With every now we cite the faithful muse,
the one we know is never there, but
just as certainly our patroness,
our lover for all time, our aged sprite
drifting silently along the screaming front
and those of us who write,
will never let her go.

I'll climb the tower of my ignorance.
I'll praise the circumstance that brings me there,
to curb and rest those wild oars of the mind
however aimed out in the passion of a distant call.
I'll sing those waves of self reward,
of my impetuosity when reason plays the chorus.
There again the mind falls short; the intellect
must feast upon the small perception
of the breath alone.

We must throw up our hands. That which saves us
is our creativity...as if it were enough.
And this poor poet doesn't think it is.
Ironic, isn't it? He takes some joy from that.

Premium Member To Two and Too Explained

To Too and Two Explained

To market, to the car, to the grocery, to the pool, to the snake pit, to the park
In order to, invariably to their thinking, I would do anything to.
The most common to – it can be used most of the time.

Two. Do I even have to explain this one?
Okay.
2.

Too
Too many, too much, too notorious, too simple, too amazing, too priggish.
Too much – use an extra 0.
You can never have too many 0’s when you are talking about too many.

Two. Really?
Okay.
One more time.
2.

By the way, too also means ALSO.
Also=too, too=also, also=too, too=also.
He came too, she grew a pair too, they laughed too.

You really want me to explain two again?
I am too tired, so you had better stop saying it to me.
My muse is tired of two too.

Calaveras Explained

Calaveras' famous frog was astounding
In contests never beaten at bounding
But a gambler's ruse
In the frog did infuse
Lead shot that kept him a groundling

The con artist disappeared south
Froggy's owner poured shot from its mouth
His face fiery red
He examined the lead
That had made his wallet a drouth

Premium Member The Magic Window Explained

You have asked what I do see
From my Magic Window
If you really want to know
Sit tight here I go.

From my Magic Window
I see the future and the past
Time before creation
And time before man

Where the dinosaur moved
Through the rocky hills
And Eons later their remains
Give me a thrill

Where Adam and Eve
And the apple tree I view
If I could only have been there
I'd have turned the serpent into a stew

How I love Noah's Ark
And the animals on board
Thanks to God we now enjoy
All but the dinosaurs

And what of the caveman
Who in rocky caves resided
Hand prints, pictures, wheel and fire
Have us all excited

There is Roman history, World history
War history and cowboy history
And what of the Indians as for their lands they fought
When the foreigners moved in and left them all distraught

Maybe I'll share
My Magic Window now and then
And if I bore you and you don't come back
That's alright my friend

Neither Understood, Nor Explained

NEITHER UNDERSTOOD, NOR EXPLAINED

I was believed the mightiest of all,
The thing known was only my countrymen soul.
I worked upon day and night in silence,
For my nation I had the path lf violence.

I commanded work with me, don't stop till you achieve,
There is only one priority from day to eve.
I spoke whatever I felt was right,
As my countrymen welfare was my sight.

Once, a winter night in days of battle,
I went out silently to see was everything settle.
Fog and mist was all around,
It was calm but then I heard a certain sound.

When I noticed the topic of voice was me,
So to listen, I got hidden behind the tree.
I was excited to know their views,
Being a king I still felt on head water dews.

In a moment my heart got jerk,
They spoke something which won't work.
I loved my countrymen by heart,
The had uttered something which hurt.

"He thinks him to be supreme,
Always thinks to command upon team".
Other said-"His pride is more above,
Nor countrymen has got his love".

For the first time I had such opinion,
I never thought from this vision.
Was I really of this way,
Should I go away or think here to stay?

Back to palace, I very well knew,
Tomorrow was the last battle of queue.
The watch striked midnight,
Somewhere in my heart dilemma was at its height.

Now I was at battle hours,
With my army I kept raising country towers.
We all fought with our full strength ,
Finally my country had all boundry length.

People celebrated the victory,
All together said I had created history.
I could hear appreciation everywhere,
But I knew many still blamed anywhere.

Within me, I knew I was correct,
Though many didn't knew this fact.
And I like constant never thought of loss and gain,
That why they neither understood ,I nor explained.

Premium Member Iambic Pentameter Explained

Iambic pentameter is all about the syllables, which ones are loud, and which ones are soft.
Baboon has two sounds – ba, and boon, a soft sound, and then a loud sound. High school also has two syllables, or two sounds. High and School also has two sounds, but the rhythm is loud sound, soft sound. The phrase: A baboon teaches at the high school has how many syllables? If you do not know, you can easily clap it out. With each sound, do one clap. A (one clap or one sound) baboon (two claps or two sounds), teaches (2 claps or two sounds) at (one clap or one syllable or one sound), the (one clap or one syllable or one sound), high (one clap or one syllable) school (one clap or one syllable or one sound).
The phrase A baboon teaches at the high school has a total of 10 sounds or 10 syllables or 10 claps.
Let us look at the word baboon again. Baboon - a soft sound, then a loud sound, or a soft syllable, and then a loud syllable, right? What about the word high school? Which syllable is soft? Which syllable is loud? The loud syllable is the first one, because that is the one your voice puts the most emphasis on.
Consequently, the word high school has a loud syllable, soft syllable rhythm.
When poets speak of iambic pentameter they are speaking of a five-in-a-row rhythm of soft loud, soft loud, soft loud, soft loud, soft loud sounds. It is important to remember there are five of them, and they must be soft loud, not loud soft sounds. Would high school work in this rhythm? Not well as it is a loud soft sound. What about the word baboon would it work in iambic pentameter – soft loud, soft loud, soft loud, soft loud, soft loud? Five in a row? Yes, it would because baboon is a soft loud word. Baboon, baboon, baboon, baboon, baboon. It might be possible to instill the word baboon in your mind now, so when you are writing iambic pentameter you can remember that baboon would work and the cadence is soft, loud. Also please remember to write iambic pentameter it must be five in a row.

A baboon teaches at the high school.
She has never heard of the golden rule.
Her students make fun of her behind her back.
Her lunch they have blown up in a paper sack.
We were supposed to go on a field trip today,
But the only one who signed up was that suck up, Mae.

knowing it was placed in your arms

How That Love Is Explained

If thou are happy to ignore me
Without a pity on me

Even after all, thou cared not about me...
So, why should I love thee?

I never believed that love is something mysterious
I think that love is simply a reflex

Thy "stimulus" that I love to accept
Thy “feelings” that I always expect

Thou smooth me tension and cultivate me with happy,
Thou accept my strengths, and weaknesses.

That we both agreed: Thou are responsible to me,
I am responsible for thee.
So, why don't I love thee?

I never believed that love is something mysterious
I think that love is a kind of "conditional reflex"

Premium Member Stalker Explained

What I MEANT:

He stands at her window,
eager to look in. Though
he feels like a creep

peeking through the shutters.
Heatedly, he mutters
to her in her sleep.

Inspired by the rant he's
reaching for the panties
he made sure to keep.

What I WROTE:

Peering at her as she sleeps,
nearing tiers of the devout,
smearing pleas on the glass as he peeps,
impotent, from the grass. He's about
to unfold the silk memoir he keeps,
and lovingly smooth it out.

Real Estate Jargon Explained

Real Estate Jargon Explained

By Elton Camp

When a house is for sale there’s good reason why
Trouble can come to anyone who advertises a lie

If the sellers certain expressions carefully choose
It will become easy the careless buyer to confuse

“This house is simply loaded with charm.”
Means we hope old and ugly won’t alarm

If you see it’s a “Pet friendly neighborhood,”
Dog manure in your yard should be understood

The praising note, “Easy access to the freeway”
Means thousands will pass your house each day

Beware the notation of “Low maintenance lot.”
Since neither front nor back yards have you got

“Historic house maintained in its original state”
It is a run-down old relic that you soon will hate

“It’s a doll house that you are going to adore.”
The house’s tiny rooms you’ll come to deplore

“The dwelling is located on a fine corner lot”
Then traffic both front and sides you have got

If the place is described as “Ready to move in,”
Then painted with the cheapest grade it has been

“A desirable neighborhood” means that its location
Has made it overpriced due to a snobbish reputation

If of “In-city living” the seller proudly does tell
Not safe to walk after dark it should say as well

If it is a “Handy-man special,” then better look out
The old place is ready to collapse without any doubt

If the advertisement should say, “Lots storage space,”
The basement is nothing but a dark, moldy disgrace

If the selling point is of “Seasonal water view,”
It means water was visible before the trees grew

If the seller says that “All your lot is usable land,”
You can know that not a single tree still does stand

If “Close to shopping” the advertisement does call
It means your backyard is adjacent to the big mall

When the imperative is that you must “See inside,”
It has a horrid exterior that is impossible to hide

If it is happily described as “Cozy, it should be read
That no room is big enough to contain a full-size bed

This is how “Make an offer” you actually should take:
It’s been long on the market so don’t make a mistake

The inviting phrase is “Watch wildlife from your patio”
You can expect to get ticks and fleas if outside you go

So if your house purchase in a year you will praise,
Watch carefully for the real meaning of each phrase

Your Personal War and Jesus Explained

this is the rundown since this never goes through

god is who you were meant to be
jesus says sacrifice doing wrong so you can achieve it
the devil will claim you through your own daydreams of success
to be a hero in the end of ending your terrorism

strive to be the god you are supposed to be
held back due to misunderstanding
jesus says be patient for you learn irregardlessly of present situation how to be
that person
the devil knows if you owe him nothing

born to be heros
do not aid ones suffering
for you will become accident prone
and fall victom of a hell you were creating for another
which will in turn end up being their dream come true

your three psychologies mastered
your war with yourself
how you win and fail
hey me this is you go find yourself

worst case scenario of evils and wrongs of one person
taking on the worlds sins openly so mankind can figure out where they went wrong

i do not need you to play with your cards on the table
i have just put them there for everybody to see

www.poetrypoem.com/shadowfiend

(this will help a lot of people, more than it already has)
a sleight of reality, beliefs, and consciousness
to deadlock the world into peace, by not helping any war effort
described and outlined in a mystery becoming more clear

in today's society this is the worst case scenario
hashed out in every conceivable way
helping me overcome this will bring you to your enlightenment
and more than likely awareness and peace inside and out
world round

imperfect as it may be
