Best Everything. Poems
Long ago Messiah came
tiny babe with Holy Name.
Born a lamb of Bethlehem
Promise of redemption’s plan.
Sinless one, He died for sin.
God in flesh, He rose again!
Ascended One enthroned above,
bids His followers to love.
Let the great glad tidings ring,
Christ will soon return as king!
Finally our Lord will reign,
ridding earth of death and pain.
Glorified in robes of white,
His radiance dispels the night.
All knees will bow and tongues confess
He is Lord and nothing less!
Holy hands to Him we raise!
All creation, give Him praise!
Holy One, our everything!
Jesus Christ the Lord and King!

* sung to the tune of "Hark the Herald Angels Sing"
The mind and universe confide. Between
Them, they are one. Like lovers devoted.
They share fluctuations on an ocean
Wave, washing mindful shores, to redeem
Those sparkling pearls, that have formed along.
Pearls of wisdom and love, confounding one
On sands that motion to and fro, unseen.
Like lovers they, the mind and universe
Converge – inseparable – beholding
One another. Cosmic thoughts emerge
Like bubbles on the ocean waves, changing
Detailed rhythms – familiar all the same.
Together, they hear a song; they dance as
Lovers do – mirroring both reflections.
[Verse 1]
I’ve arrived — big lights and a blacked-out car,
Backstage passes and a six-string star.
Crowds go wild when I hit that chord,
I’m livin’ the dream I used to pray for.
I got gold records, a house with a view…
I’ve got everything —
Everything but you.
[Verse 2]
They scream my name, wear my T-shirts proud,
Sing every word, get lost in the sound.
Yeah, I’ve got charm, and I’ve got game,
But none of these girls feel quite the same.
They don’t know the way you used to do —
I’ve got everything...
Everything but you.
[Chorus]
Oh, I’d trade it all — the stage, the fame,
The sold-out nights and my rising name.
Every single song that ever came true,
Ain’t worth half a minute back with you.
Yeah, I made it — that much is true...
But what’s everything
Without you?
[Verse 3]
I see your face in the front row lights,
In every shadow, you're haunting my nights.
The way you laughed, how you held me near,
It echoes inside, but you’re never here.
All the glitz and glam can’t fill the void,
Just a fading memory I can’t enjoy.
[Chorus]
Oh, I’d trade it all — the stage, the fame,
The sold-out nights and my rising name.
Every single song that ever came true,
Ain’t worth half a minute back with you.
Yeah, I made it — that much is true...
But what’s everything
Without you?
[Bridge]
There are nights when the stars, they shine so bright,
But they dim when I’m here, alone in the light.
Riches surround me, but they don't feel right,
'Cause all of this love is lost in the night.
[Chorus]
Oh, I’d trade it all — the stage, the fame,
The sold-out nights and my rising name.
Every single song that ever came true,
Ain’t worth half a minute back with you.
Yeah, I made it — that much is true...
But what’s everything
Without you?
[Outro]
So here I stand, with my heart exposed,
A tale of a man who had it all — but closed.
I'll keep singing these songs, it’s all I can do,
I’ve got everything —
No matter how distressing
Everything comes with a blessing
A bitter divorce
seems wrenching, of course
Yet through its crucible of fire
you can emerge inspired
Both legs blown off in the war
What's left to live for --
See what you have that remains
your whole upper body
and all of your brain
The death of a child so painful to bear
For the longest time you just sit and stare
No easy 'answers' to comfort you
but perhaps there's this ~
You're still here for a reason, that's not to be missed
Blue
vision
Dipping toes
feel the softness
The warm breeze of the summer joys tempts me
Crystallized sand like feathers on the toes
Gold in my eyes
Breathe taking
and pure
bliss

Everything Froze
a giant crystal wind chime spread its tone
teeth of icicles consumed a home
misted rain encased fence posts and rail
power lines succumb to winter’s weight and fail
vehicles in free style pirouettes
slide beneath the curtain call of white
taunted by the feigned applause of wind
stinging critic of a dance that will not end
children do the snow day dance of glee
parents know how long this day will be
until the child that lives within them all
makes and throws the season’s first snowball
streets await the toothbrush of the plow
snow men don old hats and carrot nose
angels in the snow cold trumpets blow
to celebrate the day everything froze

They say that life is unpleasant,
It's filled with more downs than ups,
But if you see the good in downs,
It'll be easier to stand back up.
They say that life is unfair,
Not all accomplish their dreams,
But if you can learn to except defeat,
It'll open doors to a whole swarm of things.
For if you stand on the sidelines,
Waiting for your day to come,
It's possible that you'll get lucky,
And then the ups will have a greater sum.
If you can see defeat,
As just another lesson in life,
The success that it can bring you,
Can turn the darkness into light.
Life is not overrated,
It's filled with all our hopes and dreams,
With just a little patience and dedication
Life can be whatever you want it to be.

You are my everything
You are the reason my heart hears the angels' sing
You are the why from miles away I can hear the church bells ring
You are why I keep trying to persevere
You are the one I need to hold ever so near
You are my path of all resistance
You are the one who keeps pulling away as I keep pulling you near with consistence
You are the one with whom I would listen to in your beckoning insistence
You are who I still see way off in the distance
You treated me with such commitment and love
You are the one man I have always dreamed of
You are the very air I breathe
You are the reason from him I longed to be free
You are who I would live and die for
You are the one I need by my side and more
You showed me true love like no one had ever done before, and unlike I have never known
You took me to those places where undescribable, undeniable, and extreme passionate
feelings were shown
You are my candle in the wind, my sun, and my rain
You are my forever desire, my one eternal flame
You and your wonderfulness has always driven me absolutely insane
You radiate such a pure love inside and out
You are who I want to have in my life this I have no doubt
You are where I dream to be enraptured and entwined in each others' arms
You are the only one I wish to be lost in the moments by your charms
You are someone I know I don't have to pretend
You, I never want to let go of, never do I again want this in any way to end
You are tenderness so deep within
You and your words standing waiting for them is where I choose to hinge
You are my savior from all else right or wrong in my life, the one to which a profound deep
admiration of friendship, then so much more, I cling
You are what true love needs to always bring
You are my devotion and my everything...
...plain as anyone can see, I for you, you for me from today set forth throughout all eternity
In a box full of everything I’ve ever lost,
The first thing I’d rummage for is the patience that could’ve led me
To your open arms at any cost
Slow moving nights, without a trace of day-dreamt advice
My home away from home you provided, but without a trace of a porch light
Well I’ll find you but it’ll take so much out of me
And I’ll hunker down and prepare for the motivation I’ll lose suddenly
Well I don’t have the time to find everything
and here is where I put myself aside to choose priorities
But in a box full of everything I’ve ever lost,
The first thing I would scour for
is the opportunity for mental bandages, only a damaged soul could’ve ignored
And every ring of earth's rotation bringing me to a soured destination
Of knowing now, that you were the glass that kept us separated
I’m antagonizing fight or flight so we establish who controls this
My head’s too far in the clouds, I’m blind to where the runway is
And it's getting hard to tell
of what rejections were the world’s protection
And what were just sacrifices
But in a box full of everything I’ve ever lost
The first and only thing I would gaze for,
Is the paper you riveted with every metaphor
That would’ve changed my view of you, had I not tossed
But mistakes are the thorns that bring intimidation to every flower;
Dwelling on them won’t make you more well-rounded
And it’s about time I started living my life in my own honor
Cause everything I’ve ever lost,
Took a nerve laced under skin and numbed the ends
Before the people pleaser in me attempted to plea with one-sided amends
That would have led me nowhere,
With no one to carry me
So in a box full of everything I’ve ever lost,
I’m peering for ashes, post-flame
From a shifting smile that disintegrates
The dark is not so dark without a light
If you let your eyes adjust
Then you can really hear the crickets sing
I wish you happiness I would
I would make life good if I could
I would take away all the hurt
I would give you everything even my shirt
If I could make you smile
Life would be worthwhile
If I can ease all your pain
And life would be worthwhile again
If I could touch your heart
And give you a new start
If I said everything will be okay
If I can help in some small way
I will do everything I can
Beside you I will stand
I will help you ease all your pain
Until you get on your feet again
Do you miss it?
What?
Words
once whispered
into starry nights?
The fading wisps
of color once painted
on a 5am sky?
A cool breeze
blowing away the remains
of summer?
Or hands
lingering in each other
for a second longer than necessary?
A tight embrace
felt for hours
after its end?
The tail end of a kiss
imprinted on lips
for eternity?
What about the last snow flurries
on Christmas Eve?
The faint echo
of a church bell?
The final rip
of wrapping paper
ringing
through the house?
Do I miss
the smoke
from flames
long since put out?
A dispersing cloud
of steam on a hot cup
of tea?
The last drip
from a melting icicle?
Do you mean
the final ring
of the clock
at midnight?
The last breath
taken before
falling?
A hopeless reach
for the edge of the horizon
on a heartbroken night?
I miss the simplicity
of life.
And days
spent staring at
the sun.
So yes.
I suppose
I do miss it.
I miss it all.
You do not have to scatter all your light
Upon the darkened road and walk alone,
Nor leave behind the tenderness of home
To seek a distant, half-imagined sight.
The heart was not designed for endless loss,
Nor meant to burn itself to prove its flame;
It keeps its wonder quietly the same
Through seasons crossed and rivers wandered across.
What waits for you is not beyond your breath,
Nor hidden in some unreachable sky—
It lives within the courage not to die
A little more with every dream’s small death.
You need not trade your laughter for the stars,
Nor sell your peace for crowns of broken gold.
The truest treasures are not bought nor sold,
They bloom where you already are.
So walk, but keep your gentleness in hand.
So hope, but keep your roots within the ground.
What you are seeking may be waiting now
In the soft miracle you understand.
You do not have to give up everything—
Only the fear that says you never can.
“There is a time for each season…
To everything made…
There is a divine reason.
A time for purpose under
the heavens above…
A time for meaning from a God of love.
A time to be born. A time to die…
A time to farm the ground
under the beautiful sky.
A time to kill. A time to heal...
A time to tear down and
to build up with a passion and zeal
A time for weeping. A time for laughing…
A time to mourn. A time for dancing.
A time to keep...
A time to throw away.
A time to tear. A time to make amends today.
A time to get. A time for losing…
A time to keep. And to give
away at our choosing.
A time for silence. A time to speak…
A time for each hour
and day of the week.
A time for love. A time for hate…
A time for war. A time for peace at your gate.
How will you spend the time
God has given to you?
What is your choice? What will you do???
May this be a time living in
God’s purpose and design.
He created you and made
everything beautiful in his time!

My daughter`s budgie "Sissie" died a late night
The next morning I told her that "Sissie" was dead
With tears on her eyes and cheeks, she asked her mom
- Is "Sissie" in heaven with God and grandmother ?
- Yes, she is with God, grandmother and the angels
I answer her
Surprised at this answer, my daughter investigate
whether it was true
She walks into the room where the cage with
the budgie used to stand
After a short while, she runs back to mom....
- Mom, mom.... God has not only taken "Sissie"
- God has taken the cage too
This is a true story - - - from gold child`s mouth
