The dark is not so dark without a light If you let your eyes adjust Then you can really hear the crickets sing

Thank you Jeff! This penned while walking home alone from the pub, along the path by the river, reading it I'm there. Have done a lot of night walking, to fro the bar, with dog, I miss it. I have a mind full of saved images. mo hugs

I WAS BORN AND RAISED ON A FARM. You just took me back to those nights hearing the crickets harmonize and knowing Nature was also a helper and not just a constant foe. That is true talent , to pack so very much in such few words.. So very much that was uplifting and so calming! A fav.....
